This paper deals with the uninterruptible power supply of data centers. The aim is the short review of the several solutions, and to give a method to select the correct types. In the recessive business conditions, volatility and extreme stock market movements presents a challenge while evaluation of the investment processes. Thus, the stock market prices volatility and the possibility of stock market forecasting in an uncertain environment are in the focus of the research. Fuzzy sets allow usage of approximated values of the ambiguous data, that is, the intraday stock market prices data. The sample comprises stocks of Alfa plam a.d. Vranje (ALFA), Komercijalna banka a.d. Beograd (KMBN) and Metalac a.d. Gornji Milanovac (MTLC), that are traded at the regulated market of the Belgrade Stock Exchange. The main goal of the research is to present an overview and performance test of the fuzzy sets as a part of soft computing (SC) technology in the investment processes. It is based on algorithms for machine vision and artificial intelligence and used in developing algorithms for reading text on images, e.g. reading registration plates, scanned books and documents, etc. This paper presents the system for text extraction on the image taken by grabbing the content of the TV screen. The preparation steps for OCR are developed which detect the text regions in an image. An open-source algorithm for OCR is then run to read the text regions. The system is used as a part of Black Box Testing system in order to test and functionally verify TV set operation. After reading the text regions, comparison with the expected text is performed to make a final pass/fail decision for the test case. We introduce few wide-spread layout approaches and discuss their specialties. Furthermore, we investigate the state of the art research results on the field of automatic GUI layout. Based on the lessons learned from the existing layout solutions we introduce the main points of a new layout approach. This approach addresses the field of online magazines and focuses on tablet devices and horizontal scrolling. In order to make the layout specification intuitive, we hide layout-related mathematical formalisms from end users. We offer a template-based column layout solution that is supported with a high-level, editor friendly language. The high-level layout rules are automatically transformed into formal rules that are enforced during the layout calculation. The clear advantage of computer adaptive testing is witnessed by the maximal balance of accuracy and efficiency. For purposes of determining the effects of applying the computer adaptive test for knowledge evaluation, the adaptive test was realized in the MATLAB software package. The research was done at Subotica Tech - College of Applied Sciences (Subotica, Serbia) with students from the Department of Informatics. The MATLAB application was compared with two computer adaptive tests with a similar purpose: testing student's knowledge of programming languages. The VDS project used two physical ontology model and mental ontology model aligned on medical ontology for reasoning. In this paper the mental ontology related to medical diagnosis is the main emphasis. The mental Ontology is represented as two models: Emotion state model, and ego state model. The attributes of mental state are represented as fuzzy intuitionistic criteria. The emotion state related attributes are represented using harmonic hybrid weighted Ordered Intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation function. The ego state related attributes are represented using Bonferroni ordered weight average aggregate function. The both aggregate functions as well as the physical ontology aggregate functions are aligned on medical knowledge based. Sometimes alleged fathers are told many years later that a previous relationship resulted in the birth of a child, and they want to make sure they are actually the biological father. Some men might suspect their wives or girlfriends of infidelity and are concerned their child may not be theirs biologically and want the peace of mind a DNA test can provide. Children who were separated from their biological father at a very early age, whether because of adoption or other reasons, often want a conclusive DNA test early in the reunion process. Children sometimes learn about infidelity after the death of a parent and are curious about their genetic makeup and their family's medical history, so they have DNA tests to prove their parentage. The aim of this study was to review the system for support during the analysis of determining the paternity index includes the possibility of mutation. System is done in C# programming language that allows analysis of only the father and child in the investigation and analysis of the father, mother and child, and the case involving the testing of more children.
