The main idea of these games is to reach different checkpoints and execute specific tasks at these locations. There are many successful games based on this idea, like Geocaching. There are also some frameworks for building games, like Scvngr, but generally these frameworks have some disadvantages. The placement of real physical objects (“treasures”) could be expensive, GPS-based localization cannot be used inside buildings etc. The lack of generality could be a problem, as well. A general framework for the development of augmented reality-based, multiplayer adventure games is proposed. The framework can be used for creating online treasure hunt or scavenger hunt games for mobile devices. The “treasures” can be virtual 3D objects, appearing as a part of the augmented reality. The integrated image recognition support offers new possibilities in game creation and customization. Similar happen with humanoid robotics, but it has to be pointed out that its applications areas are mostly situated in environment close to humans. This imposes some specificities that have to be encountered. Two of them are, in our opinion, of essential importance. First one is that human environment is either loosely structured or completely unstructured (as a consequence, walking realization by programming it in advance is not possible and on-line generation of walk is inevitable), while second one is that robot's physical contact with surrounding objects, humans or other robots almost can not be avoided. If unexpected (and unwanted) such contact can be considered as disturbance and can jeopardize humanoid's dynamic balance, whose preservation is prerequisite for any biped activity. In both situations new approaches are needed. We have proposed new method for on-line walking generation based on set of predefined primitive movements that can be easily combined into more complex ones. Thus, basic leg's motion is always same (combined of primitives), and just parameters of primitives (step length, height of foot trajectory, leg bending intensity, walking velocity, ...) have to be adjusted on-line during walking. The second issue, closely related to walking, is preservation of dynamic balance, either in static posture or during walking. Because existence of dynamic balance is assumed for any biped performing gait, its preservation is of primary importance. However, compensation strategies are not same for disturbances of various intensities. For real application this is extremely important and complex issue, particularly in case of large disturbances. Medical Diagnosis system needs robust and realizable decision making system. Attributes related to medical decision making is crucial aspect in medical applications. However, these attributes are a mixture of linguistic values and fuzzy intervals. Also, there are Fuzzy relations that are used in description of Symptoms. Fuzzy set and fuzzy relations are used to represent medical knowledge as network of symptoms and diseases connected with each other by logical relations. Like high temperature is related to fever diagnosis. For example each object in the domain knowledge has n scores reflecting the symptoms, one for each m attribute. For example a symptoms (object) has an attribute from physical set properties, (e.g., high temperature), and other attributes set is from mental set properties (e.g., stress high). Then for each attribute there is assorted list that list each symptoms with its attribute sorted by scores (fuzzy values). This can be evaluated and reasoned using monotone aggregation function or combining rules. This is because the decision making is aggregated on different ontologies that are using different knowledge layers to select the optimal alternatives due to selected criteria that have aggregation operators. Haar functions are used for face, eyes and mouth detection; edge detection for extracting the eyes correctly, and finally, Bezier curves to approximate the extracted regions. Then, a set of consecrated distances for each face type is extracted, set that will serve as training input for a multilayer neural network. The main purpose of the proposed modeling is improved active knowledge driven definition of product features. In the currently applied industrial product modeling, human defines rule sets and other relationship features as active entities during construction of product model. In order to improve this current technology, the proposed modeling applies human defined and coordinated knowledge for the generation of relationship features establishing a higher level communication surface for humans who define product in model space. Currently applied situation based control of product object definition is completed by adaptive change representation definition of which is human request initiated, situation driven, and knowledge based. New definitions are proposed for situation and knowledge. They found numerous applications in engineering recommendation systems, fuzzy control and modeling, pattern recognition and other. The paper presents a novel approach for generalizing weighted averages on purpose of processing uncertainty expressible by trapezoidal interval type-2 fuzzy sets. A family of new aggregation operators is presented, that can process data types specific for perceptual computing, and thus can be used as an engine for computing with words. It has time complexity θ(n). Some software realization details are discussed. The new engine family has been compared to novel weighted averages both analytically and empirically. Their similarities and differences are pointed out and rationalized. It has been discussed how simplified versions of the new engine resemble to some known type-reduction algorithms.
