A robust reputation system is considered crucial for building a better marketplace for various types of e-commerce. However, false reputation seriously affect the effectiveness of online reputation systems. The purpose of this paper is to explore the causes of false reputation in online transactions through an empirical study. A set of hypotheses are proposed, concerning possible causes for the false reputation creation. Methodology based on data mining techniques is presented to check the validity of the hypotheses. Sales data of women's clothes from TaoBao is used for our case study. Our results indicate several possible problems in terms of the rating system, which may lead to the creation of false reputation.","PeriodicalId":206364,"journal":{"name":"2014 11th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129378484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A literature review is primarily used to determine the conceptual model and to develop the measurement scales. Data were collected through online questionnaire survey conducted in China. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the collected data and test the proposed research hypotheses. The results indicate that both e-service quality and logistics service quality are strongly linked with customer satisfaction. The research results shown that practitioners (e-retailers) should not only focus on e-service quality, but also the logistics service quality. This research validates the proposed service quality framework with two dimensions (e-service quality and logistics service quality) in ecommerce context. Second, it highlights the impact path of service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty.","PeriodicalId":206364,"journal":{"name":"2014 11th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132788663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The precise forecasting of ticket sales in OTA companies is beneficial to budget control and service quality. The paper develops an integrated forecasting model by combining the internal factors immediately influencing the ticket sales and the external factors reflecting the ticket sales market. The internal factors are selected such as the number of calling in certain duration, while the external factors include the attention of relevant search engine query data. After several key features are extracted using feature selection model, the machine learning algorithms can get the more accurate prediction, in contract to the basic experiments to explore the inherent rule of the sales data itself. Our proposed user behavior-based prediction model provides a feasible and efficiency tool for ticket sales prediction.","PeriodicalId":206364,"journal":{"name":"2014 11th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"166 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132791040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the constantly increasing industrial pollutants also degrade the environment and seriously impact on people's life and work. What's even worse is that the environmental deterioration also hinders the sustainable economic development. This paper, based on the Entropy Theory, comes up with the environment entropy evaluation model featured by balanced economic-environmental development. In the second part of the paper, it takes the data of Inner Mongolia for 2006-2012 as the example. By applying the environment entropy model, the paper makes empirical analysis of how well Inner Mongolia is doing to balance its environmental-economic development. The empirical analysis reveals that the economic development in Inner Mongolia is in poor synergy with its environmental quality. In the future, Inner Mongolia should focus on adjusting its economic structure, adopt stricter pollutant discharge limits, work harder to harness pollution, improve the synergy between economic development and environmental quality, and realize sustainable development.","PeriodicalId":206364,"journal":{"name":"2014 11th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117335258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Does the scale of parent equity investment in subsidiaries enhance the overall liquidity? Moreover, if this effect really exists, what association to the firm's R&D investment? In this paper, we used the year of 2008-2010 panel data of listed companies in China and cross-section data, to investigate the relationship between the scale of parent's equity investment under diversification strategy and corporate cash holding, and the cash sensitivity to R&D, we find that under the parent diversification behavior dominated by equity investment in subsidiaries, the internal capital market exists and the complementary cash flow can generate the liquidity effect, relieving financing constraint, but did not significantly reduce the sensitivity of R&D investment to cash flow. In addition, better corporate governance led to reduce the R&D scale, financing constraints and R&D expenditures negatively correlated.","PeriodicalId":206364,"journal":{"name":"2014 11th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management (ICSSSM)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134486620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
