The cables were subjected to a 0.5 kGy radiation dose for five different periods. During the whole process, the insulation and jacket were kept intact, and the overall cable degradation was assessed by using dielectric spectroscopy in the frequency range of 100 mHz to 1 kHz. The real and imaginary part of permittivity increased for the whole frequency range with intensity high at low frequencies, representing the intensity of interfacial polarization. Two deducted quantities from the imaginary part of permittivity are introduced, central loss factor and central frequency. The correlation between the two quantities and the absorbed dose was established. With high linear regression values, the quantities showed their potential as an effective electrical aging marker.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127611506","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Not far away is the time when the density of road e-filling stations rivals that of gas stations. The pediatric diseases of the initial establishments are now coming to light. The servicing and maintenance of e-cars now begins. What knowledge should mechanics have? What safety measures does the emergence of higher DC voltage of electric vehicle (hundreds of volts DC arc) require? It is timely to review the necessary security measures and adapt them to the new requirements. In the public consciousness, direct voltage is less dangerous than alternating voltage. This experience stems from a comparison of extra low voltage DC circuits used in cars and low-voltage consumers used in our environment. The dangers of hundreds of volt DC circuits need to be highlighted, attention should be drawn, and a number of measures need to be taken to prevent accidents, and protection devices need to be developed.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"157 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121120406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The findings for energy savings use results of RCMS applied on 25% of outdoor lighting network in Tirana and results of study for overall replacement of existing old technology luminaries with LED's ones. The paper give technical assessment to RCMS that acts on voltage stabilization, luminous flux regulation, uses power reducing equipment for existing traditional technology lamps, and calculate energy savings when RCMS is combined with LED's luminaries. Three different scenarios are analyzed: LED adaption only, RCMS installation for all SLS in Tirana and the combination of both first scenarios. The results has been satisfactory, achieving an saving of about 53.3% for the third scenario with combination of LEDs with RCMS. Based on implementation-running costs and saving results, the RCMS is cost-effective and with a very short payback time of around 2–3 years. It contributes also in the reduction of CO2 emissions.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"145 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121326294","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was built in 1896, as the first in the European continent, the second after the London Metro in 1890. The following engineering solutions were implemented: −goose neck chassie −bi-directional electrical motor driven chassie −upper current collector −bogie with built in motor −electrical lighting in the stations and the carriages −safety signalisation −cut-and-cover building technology −during the construction the water was pumped by electric motors, etc. It served as pattern for Berlin, Paris and Buenos Aires metro. Considering wide range of benefits, automotive industry is also moving from traditional approaches towards agile practices for the development of automotive software's. The key challenges in automotive software are safety, complexity, user involvement, flexibility and innovation; which are difficult to handle by implementing traditional approaches. In order to overcome these challenges, it is essential to adopt such methods which should be flexible, fast with change management and user participation and can accomplish the automotive requirements and standards. Therefore, to accelerate the development process in automotive software there is a need to integrate agile development processes. This paper gives insights to the implementation of agile methods and to understand the effect of combined usage of agile processes and V model in the development of automotive software. This paper reveals that from both research and industrial perspective, it is still not clear how to combine two approaches i.e. agile methods and V model. The findings of this paper show that combined use of agile processes and V model in the development of automotive software is promising and there is a need to develop a significant approach that combines agile methods and V model for automotive software development.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123846910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, the Clean Energy strategy that many European countries have agreed to targets 40% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, 32% improvement in the share of renewable energy, and an increase in energy efficiency by 32.5% by 2030. In this study the energy requirements for four regions in Piedmont were examined. Such communities have diverse geomorphologic locations, population density and energy needs. The energy analysis was combined with the development and assessment of sustainability criteria for encouraging a real integration of the energy efficiency to environmental quality parameters. Such assessment includes a variety of criteria and reward points in order to incentivize the achievement of sustainable energy solutions in each region. The suggested environmental protocol proposed in this study is based on calculable criteria and indicators and on threshold values that make it possible to quickly evaluate the potential of a territory in order to create a sustainable energy community. This methodology is flexible and transferable elsewhere since the criteria and the threshold values can be modified to reflect the specific territorial context of interest.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126949112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In addition, urban form is a key parameter in modifying solar availability in densely built-up areas. This paper explores relationships between urban form and energy performance with implications for solar energy production on building roofs. This study investigated six neighborhoods of Turin (Italy) analyzing the urban morphology and the solar potential, taking into account the urban block typologies found across the city. From the energy simulations -made with the use of an urban-scale energy model- it has been found that in densely urban context, the optimal shape of the building -with low energy consumption and high solar energy production- must have a surface-to-volume ratio that varies between 0.37 m2/m3 for favorable orientated buildings and 0.35 m2/m3 for unfavorable oriented ones. These results could help in the design phase of new neighborhoods or in the reuse of existing buildings and empty spaces to promote the transition to low-carbon energy.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126659582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Five exploratory factors including the precipitation, evaporation, temperature, outlet streamflow, and GWL (t-1) are considered as inputs to estimate the GWL (t) as a response variable. The mean monthly of datasets for the aquifer from April 2001 to March 2013 (i.e., 12 years) was calculated using the Voronoi map in the ArcGIS based on the data monitoring locations. A ratio of 70/30 was used for model calibration and validation. Evaluation of the results indicated that the model has an excellent performance in the GWL modeling (RMSE = 0. 219; NSE= 0. 908; R-Squared = 0. 910). Importance analysis of the variables indicated that the variables of GWL (t-1), outlet streamflow, temperature, evaporation, and precipitation respectively were the important variables and have a higher contribution in groundwater level prediction.","PeriodicalId":201378,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 3rd International Conference and Workshop in Óbuda on Electrical and Power Engineering (CANDO-EPE)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125667325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
