This course covers some complex and abstract theoretical knowledge such as thermal power generation, cogeneration, heat-power-cool cogeneration, etc. It is difficult to achieve the expected teaching effect only by the way of teaching in the limited class hours to make students grasp such complicated knowledge. TRIZ theory is introduced into the teaching process of this course to improve its teaching methods and content, so as to cultivate students’ problem-solving ability. At the same time, cultivate students' ability of active discovery learning and teamwork, and evaluate students' learning results in a reasonable way. After the implementation of this teaching mode, students evaluate tearchers’ teaching quality from seven aspects in five evaluation grades. The evaluation results show that the very satisfaction rate reaches 74.4%, the satisfaction rate reaches 99.3%, and the ranking of teaching quality evaluation rises from 31st to 3rd place. A total of 38 female students from Africa and Asia in a Chinese university filled in a self-reported questionnaire and six among them were interviewed to examine their perceptions on parenting styles as impelling factor of intrinsic motivation. The results revealed that authoritarian parenting style is exercised mostly in Africa and Asia; however mothers were perceived more authoritative and authoritarian whilst fathers were authoritative and permissive. Authoritarian typology was found to have a positive association with intrinsic motivation (r = .434, p =.007); but not with permissive (r = .019, p =.909), and authoritative (r = –.032, p=.847). Punishment, negligence and autonomy from parenting styles were echoed as intrinsic motivation drives henceforth internal satisfaction, perceived to be a key towards education accomplishment. The study concluded that one reason for denying girls and women their right to education which is rarely articulated in our society is the fear of “losing” them. It deserves the attention of teachers of English as a foreign language. The purpose of the work is the analysis of theoretical positions in the field of research of collocations and collocational competence, as well as the difficulties of mastering collocational competence. A related task was to determine the style preferences for the selection and presentation of collocations as educational material. Also, the proposed reasons for the lack of a high level collocational competence of students were listed. To achieve the abovementioned goals and objectives, we used the methods of comparative analysis of existing theoretical and empirical provisions on the subject of research in synchrony and continuous sampling to present examples of text material as a source of collocations. It was found that repeated exposure of collocations in various contexts and texts is a prerequisite for the development of colloquial competence of economics students.
