A three-order passive circuit with a voltage-controlled memcapacitor is proposed in this paper to generate chaotic oscillation. When configured with proper parameters and initial conditions, strange attractors can be observed. Lyapunov exponent analysis, along with continuous frequency distribution, conditions sensitive characteristic were provided through simulation, shows the existence of chaos in this simple circuit.","PeriodicalId":199950,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Communications, Circuits and Systems (ICCCAS)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122617146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It can be separated into following separate processes: the interior triangles are equilateral isosceles right; then a new algorithm for automatic refinement is presented to deal with meshes near to the boundary. Compared with other methods, the new method can generate meshes with reasonable quality automatically, and is easy to produce FEM code. Also it achieves good quality of mesh. Three cases of needle insertion with different diameters are considered to find the best convergence effects on the tumor region. Comparing the simulated results, the conclusion can be drawn that when the direction of needle insertion is parallel with the polarized direction of incident plane wave, and the needle has a relatively larger diameter of 1.6mm, the power convergence on the tumor region has better effects than other cases, and meanwhile the power that reached the heart region is much smaller than that in the breast region, i.e. heart is in good condition.","PeriodicalId":199950,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Communications, Circuits and Systems (ICCCAS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131650408","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Introducing the concept of multilevel congestion-aware mechanism which conveys more accurate feedback information about network congestion status than the DyAD routing, the proposed algorithm adopt proper routing algorithm to forward packets according to the current congestion level. The converter operates in the pulse width modulation (PWM) mode for heavy load conditions and in the pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode for light load conditions. In both these operating modes, the converter shows very high power conversion efficiency. This structure also has an adaptive deadtime range mechanism that changes the deadtime depending on the load current. This helps in reducing the power consumption considerably. The architecture also provides better heavy load current conversion efficiency as compared to the other works in the literature. Also, it can help in avoiding the malfunctioning of the ZCD mechanism that happens in the PFM mode for low currents. The most important contribution of this work is that it can achieve a high efficiency above 94% and shows an increasing trend in the efficiency even at heavy load conditions. Also the other major contribution of the proposed design is that it can in general be applied not only to a buck regulator but also to a boost regulator and a buck-boost regulator. A high conversion efficiency of 95.8% has been achieved in this work at a load current of 150 mA. And for the load current operation range of 50 mA to 420 mA, the conversion efficiency reaches above 94%. This design uses the TSMC 0.35-µm 2P4M 5V polycide CMOS process. The input operating voltage range for this process is from 3 to 5 V.","PeriodicalId":199950,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Communications, Circuits and Systems (ICCCAS)","volume":"32 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114128693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If the CR nodes carry on the on-line energy detection to the radar signal, it will be subject to the interference originated from the TD-LTE system's Base Station (BS) [1]. We propose a new detection program employed only in the TD-LTE uplink timeslots. In this program, the interference, which is coming from the TD-LTE system's User Equipment (UE) [2], may be weaker than it originated from BS. At the same time, the performance will be enhanced by accumulating multiple coherent detecting results. Through theoretical analysis and simulation, the feasibility of the new program has been verified.","PeriodicalId":199950,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Communications, Circuits and Systems (ICCCAS)","volume":"214 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114228678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
