This research aims to explain the cultural expression in the novel by Hasnan Singodimayan based on the perspective of cultural ecology. These cultural expressions include social patterns, political patterns, religious patterns. Hasnan Singodimayan's novel that was examined was the novel Kerudung Santet Gandrung and Niti Negari Bala Abangan. This research is a qualitative descriptive type and uses an interdisciplinary approach. Data collection using library techniques, while analyzing data using content analysis techniques. Content analysis is done by inference and analysis. The theory used is cultural ecology belonging to Julian H. Steward. The results showed that the cultural expression in the novel Kerudung Santet Gandrung and Niti Negari Bala Abangan contained human behavior patterns. This pattern is a social pattern, political pattern, and religious pattern. Social patterns can be found in community interactions and visiting activities and receiving guests. Political patterns exist in the Banyuwangi system of government during the Dutch, PKI, and current politics. Religious patterns are found in religious behavior that combines religion and culture. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that cultural expressions in Kerudung Santet Gandrung and Niti Negari Bala Abangan form cultural patterns, namely reciprocal social patterns, historical patterns in the form of history or periods, and religious patterns which are a combination of religion and culture.Keyword: The benefits of learning motivation, local wisdom of G1 Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan ekspresi budaya dalam novel karya Hasnan Singodimayan berdasarkan perspektif ekologi budaya. Ekspresi budaya tersebut meliputi pola sosial, pola politik, pola religi. Novel Hasnan Singodimayan yang diteliti adalah novel Kerudung Santet Gandrung dan Niti Negari Bala Abangan. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan interdisipliner. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pustaka, sedangkan penganalisisan data menggunakan teknik analisis konten. Analisis konten dilakukan dengan cara inferensi dan analisis. Teori yang digunakan adalah ekologi budaya milik Julian H. Steward. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekspresi budaya dalam novel Kerudung Santet Gandrung dan Niti Negari Bala Abangan terdapat pola prilaku manusia. Pola tersebut merupakan pola sosial, pola politik, dan pola religi. Pola sosial dapat ditemukan pada interaksi masyarakat dan kegiatan bertamu dan menerima tamu. Pola politik terdapat pada sistem pemerintahan Banyuwangi pada masa Belanda, PKI, dan politik saat ini. Pola religi terdapat pada perilaku beragama yang memadukan agama dan budaya. Class management or class management is a conscious effort of a teacher to organize learning activities systematically. Class management is a factor that has the first position as a determinant of student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of class management between Primary and Private Primary Schools in Tegal. The method used in this study is to use qualitative-quantitative methods. . The object of this study was grade 2 students at the Mendangusuman Public Elementary School (SDK 1) and class 1 SD Pelita Harapan Bangsa (PHB). Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation techniques. Whereas to analyze the data obtained, researchers used the SPSS version 23.0 statistical program with the results of data analysis stating that the average teacher's ability in classroom management in MKK 1 SDN was 68.52 and in PHB SD was 88.77. While the student learning outcomes in MKK 1 SDN amounted to 94.32 with the lowest score of 86 and the highest score of 100. And for the learning outcomes in elementary school PHB amounted to 98.15 with the lowest score 89 and the highest score of 100.Keyword: Class management, elementary school Abstrak: Pengelolaan kelas atau manajemen kelas merupakan usaha sadar seorang guru untuk mengatur kegiatan pembelajaran secara sistematis. Pengelolaan kelas merupakan faktor yang mempunyai kedudukan pertama sebagai penentu hasil belajar siswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengelolaan kelas antara SD Negeri dan SD Swasta Unggulan di Tegal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif-kuantitatif. . Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri Mangkukusuman (MKK) 1 dan kelas 1 SD Pelita Harapan Bangsa (PHB). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis data yang didapat, peneliti menggunakan program statistik SPSS versi 23.0 dengan hasil analisis data menyatakan rata-rata kemampuan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas di SDN MKK 1 adalah 68,52 dan di SD PHB sebesar 88,77. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa pada SDN MKK 1 sebesar 94,32 dengan nilai terendah 86 dan nilai tertinggi 100. This research applied research and development (R&D) method with one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The data were collected using tests. The validity test comprised of instrument and content validation. The results of the treatment to the third-grade students of SD Negeri Karangasem III Surakarta in the topic of Wayang Purwa showed that the average score in the pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle always increased. In the pre-cycle, the students' average score was 54.9 with the completeness percentage of 31.2 %. The average score after the treatment in the first cycle was 72.34 with the completeness percentage of 71.88 and in the second cycle was 81.27 with the completeness percentage of 90.63 %. The same results were also obtained in the topic of Javanese script in the second-grade students of SD Tunggulsari II Surakarta indicating that the average score of pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle always increased. The classical completeness percentage in the pre-cycle of 6.25 % increased to 56.25 % in the first cycle and 93.75 in the second cycle. Media permainan MONAYA merupakan permainan Monopoli Budaya yang memiliki konten mengenai keberagaman budaya atau multikultural. Monopoli tersebut dicetak pada banner berukuran 2,5m x 3m dan anak sebagai pion. Permainan didukung dengan dadu dan kartu-kartu pendukung dengan ukuran besar sehingga dapat menarik minat anak dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Permainan ini menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) dan telah diujicobakan melalui uji coba satu-satu (one to one), uji coba kelompok kecil (small group) dan uji coba kelompok besar (field group) serta telah divalidasi oleh pakar pendidikan anak usia dini, pakar media dan pakar multikultural. Ujicoba dilakukan di kota Jakarta Timur selama 2 bulan yaitu di bulan Agustus dan September 2018. The present research is a quasi experiment using pretest and posttest design controls in Mathematics applied to 39 elementary school students in Purwakarta, West Java, Indonesia. The results of the study show that mathematical connection ability of elementary school students who were taught using CPA learning approach is enhanced than the elementary school students who were taught using conventional learning as a whole group of high and low achiever students according to their mathematical prior ability. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran CPA terhadap peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan kontrol desain pretest dan posttest dalam Matematika diterapkan kepada 39 siswa sekolah dasar di Purwakarta, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. The purpose of the research is to find out and prove empirically about the effectiveness of sosiodrama techniques to improve interpersonal communication skills in students. The main problem of the research was \"what is the interpersonal communication skills of students who have a tendency of social networking adiksi can be upgraded through the technique of sosiodrama?\", to see the effectiveness will be conducted by uses comparing students with groups of students who have low skills and has a tendency adiksi social networking with students who have only a low skills but don't have the tendency of adiksi social networking. The method of research used quasi experimental design i.e. nonequivalent (Pre test and Post test) Control-Group Design (pre test and post test on two groups), a group of experiments (groups A1 and A2) and control group (group B1 and B2). Sample research consist of 24 students based on the standards of the ideal group with the number of members in each group of 5 members. The sosiodrama technique to be tested had a good influence, that generate a significant increase in overall score changes no students who decline to interpersonal and communication skills to score adiksi the social networking trend decline. Research recommendations are indicated to the supervising teacher (1); and (2) researchers. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui dan membuktikan secara empiris tentang efektivitas teknik sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa. Masalah utama penelitian adalah “Apakah keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa yang memiliki kecenderungan adiksi jejaring sosial dapat ditingkatkan melalui teknik sosiodrama?”, untuk melihat keefektifan akan dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan siswa dengan kelompok siswa yang memiliki keterampilan rendah dan memiliki kecenderungan adiksi jejaring sosial dengan siswa yang hanya memiliki keterampilan rendah tetapi tidak memiliki kecenderungan adiksi jejaring sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen kuasi dengan desain nonequivalent (Pre-test and Post-test) Control-Group Design (pre-test dan post-test pada dua kelompok), yaitu kelompok eksperimen (kelompok A1 dan kelompok A2) dan kelompok kontrol (kelompok B1 dan kelomoik B2). Sampel penelitian sebanyak 24 siswa berdasarkan standar kelompok ideal dengan jumlah anggota pada setiap kelompok 5 anggota. Teknik sosiodrama yang diujikan memiliki daya pengaruh baik, yaitu menghasilkan peningkatan yang signifikan perubahan skor secara keseluruhan tidak ada siswa yang mengalami penurunan untuk keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal dan untuk skor kecenderungan adiksi jejaring sosial mengalami penurunan. Learning listening of fairy tale with conventional method (teachers read a fairy tale in front of the class) is no longer suitable to be applied for the students in this digital era, so that a new breakthrough in the use of learning media is needed. Learning listening of fairy tale by using an audio visual media can be one of alternatives used by teachers. Research used an audio visual media in learning listening of fairy tale was conducted in SDN 6 Singaparna. Research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The enthusiasm of students in learning listening of fairy tale by using audio visual media is better than learning listening of fairy tale read by the teacher. This is seen from the average score of listening ability of student’s fairy tales. The average listening ability of student’s fairy tale using audio visual media is 84,53, while the average listening ability of student’s fairy tale before the research was 67,20. In addition to making the average listening ability of student’s fairy tale increased was by the use of audio visual media that also made students more active in the learning process. This is seen when the teacher asked a few questions when the fairy tale has been played, most students responded well to the questions given by the teacher. Abstrak: Pembelajaran di abad ke-21 ini tidak terlepas dari pengaruh teknologi digital. Pembelajaran menyimak dongeng dengan cara konvensional (guru membacakan dongeng di depan kelas) dirasa sudah tidak cocok lagi diterapkan pada siswa di era digital ini, sehingga diperlukan adanya terobosan baru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Pembelajaran menyimak dongeng dengan menggunakan media audio visual dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang bisa digunakan oleh guru. Penelitian tentang penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran menyimak dongeng dilakukan di SDN 6 Singaparna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Antusiasme siswa dalam pembelajaran menyimak dongeng dengan menggunakan media audio visual lebih baik daripada pembelajaran menyimak dongeng yang dibacakan langsung oleh gurunya. Hal ini terlihat dari rata-rata kemampuan menyimak dongeng siswa. Rata-rata kemampuan menyimak dongeng siswa setelah menggunakan media audio visual adalah 84,53, sedangkan rata-rata kemampuan menyimak dongeng sebelumnya hanya 67,20. Selain membuat rata-rata kemampuan menyimak dongeng siswa meningkat, penggunaan media audio visual juga membuat siswa lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. The paper aims to describe how vocabulary chart is implemented in the writing learning process to develop elementary school students’ English as a Foreign Language (EFL) critical writing skills. The subject of the study is 28 primary school students grade 3 in one of the public schools in Bandung. The Classroom Action Research was employed in the study. The vocabulary chart was used in a 3-cycle lesson consisting of 9 meetings. This paper focuses on the implementation of vocabulary chart in the first cycle. This research is a qualitative research which used classroom observation, documentation, field note and student interview as the instrument of collecting data. After that the obtained data were discussed and processed to be described, analyzed, and reflected. The data that has been described is then analyzed to get the findings. In conclusion, the application of the vocabulary chart to develop elementary school students’ EFL critical writing skill can be implemented in two stages, namely: 1) the vocabulary chart delivery, and 2) the using of vocabulary chart in the students’ critical thinking. The study reveals that the vocabulary chart can develop elementary school students’ EFL critical writing skills.Abstrak: Artikel ini adalah bagian dari penelitian tindakan kelas. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana bagan kosakata diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran menulis untuk mengembangkan kemampuan menulis kritis bahasa Inggris siswa sebagai Bahasa Asing (EFL). Subyek penelitian adalah 28 siswa sekolah dasar di kelas 3 di salah satu sekolah umum di Bandung. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Bagan kosakata digunakan dalam pelajaran 3-siklus yang terdiri dari 9 pertemuan. Makalah ini berfokus pada penerapan grafik kosakata dalam siklus pertama. Nowadays, be found in the field that term of inclusive education is only limited to children with special needs learned together with general children in regular schools. Whereas, the term of inclusive education refer to provide the possible opportunity or access widely for all children in order to obtain the quality of education and in accordance with the needs without discrimination. Therefore, schools that enroll in inclusive education are required to adjust in terms of curriculum, facilities, the infrastructure of education, and learning systems as well that adjusted with the needs of children with special needs. In the other hand, children with special needs are those with temporary or permanent special needs that require more intense educational services. If children are required to receive an education service that is appropriate to their needs and existence through an inclusive education program, it will provide the possible opportunity widely for all children with special needs to get a proper education according to their needs. Moreover, it can create an education system that respects to diversity, non-discrimination and friendly in learning. Thus, it can implement the mandate of the Constitution of 1945, article 31, paragraph 1, Law of 2003 No. 20 regarding National Education System on article 5, paragraph 1, and Law of 2002 No 23 regarding The Right and Protection of Children in article 51. Abstrak: Pemahaman terhadap pendidikan Inklusif masih belum tepat, sehingga in terpretasi dan o-rientasi pelaksanaannya pun belum sesuai sebagaimana seharusnya yang sekarang dijumpai di lapangan bahwa yang dinamakan pendidikan inklusif adalah hanya sebatas anak kebutuhan khusus belajar bersama-sama dengan anak-anak normal di sekolah reguler.Padahal yang dinamakan pendidikan inklusif adalah memberikan kesempatan atau akses yang seluas-luasnya kepada semua anak untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang bermutu dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanpa diskriminasi, oleh karena itu sekolah yang menyeleggarakan pendidikan inklusif dituntut harus menyesuaikan baik dari segi kurikulum, sarana dan prasarana pendidikan maupun sistem pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu peserta didik yang berkebutuhan khusus. Sedangkan yang dimaksud dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah mereka yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus sementara atau permanen yang membutuhkan pelayanan pendidikan yang lebih intens. Jika anak berkebutuhan mendapat layanan pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keberadaannya melalui program pemdidikan inklusif, maka akan memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya kepada semua anak berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan pendidikan yang layak sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Modern technology makes human life style also changesduring the development of the era. The exchange of information from one place to another becomes easier not only for national scoped but also the international scope. Moreover, it makes the foreign culture can easily enter Indonesia, imitated by society and then give impact to the life style of the society including human’s behaviour. It can be said that there is a moral swing in Indonesia nowadays. Many young people are not really enthusiastic in keeping their own culture. They tend to imitate other cultures, behave inappropriately, use illegal drugs, do free sex, bully each other, make genk, scuffle, and even kill people. One of the reasons of this morality crisis is the exemplary crisis. Adults who are supposed to be role models for the younger generation even provide bad examples such as doing corruption, being selfish and do individualist practices of corruption, collusion and nepotism, mutual checks, doing violence such as grabbing, punching and other crimes.Therefore, the government makes effort to overcome the moral crisis through character education or Budi pekerti education. Basically character education is not new concept, Ki Hajdar Dewantara has designed character education since a long time through its principles, foundations, concepts and teachings about Tamansiswa. The principles and teaching can be implemented to toddlers, children, and adolescents until adults. Through the method of literature analysis, this paper seeks to examine and explore more deeply about the character education which designed according to the teaching of Ki HadjarDewantara. Character education designed according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara applied through basic and teaching of Tamansiswa. Basic Tamansiswa includes Panca Dharma that is Nature of universe, Independence, Culture, Nationality and Humanity. While Tamansiswa teaching includes Tri Ngo (ngerti, ngroso, lan nglakoni), Tri N (niteni, niroke, nambahi), Tri Hayu) and most importantly the Trilogi Kepemimpinan (ing ngarso sung tulodho, ing madyo mangun karso, tutwuri handayani), all of them are implemented in Tri Pusat Pendidikan (family, school and community). Abstrak: Teknologi modern membuat gaya hidup manusia juga berubah selama perkembangan zaman. Pertukaran informasi dari satu tempat ke tempat lain menjadi lebih mudah tidak hanya untuk lingkup nasional tetapi juga ruang lingkup internasional.
