Fatigue can be influenced by individual factors such as age, length of work and nutritional status. Fatigue can also be influenced by physical environmental factors, namely heat pressure. The purpose of this study was to know the influence of heat pressure on fatigue in workers in the workshop of Sub Assembly, Assembly MPL and Assembly CBL PT. X Year 2019.This type of research is observational analytic with research design using Cross Sectional approach. a sample size of 34 workers. Data analysis was performed by univariate analysis and bivariate test with a statistical test namely Chi Square Test.Research results on workers in the Commercial Ship Division of X mostly aged ≤ 40 years with 91.2% with working duration kerja 8 hours / day as much as 100%, having fat nutritional status as much as 58.8%, heat exposure did not meet the requirements as much as 58.8% and experienced fatigue as much as 88 , 2%. The results of statistical tests using the Chi Square test showed p value equal to 0,039 (p value ≤ 0,05) which means there is an influence of heat pressure on the fatigue of workers in the Merchant Marine Division of PT. X in 2019.It is recommended to add an air ventilation place in the form of a window, adding a blower and workers often consume drinking water provided by the company. So, it is required to always be ready and not to make the slightest mistake given the impact of air traffic accidents. The complexity and responsibility on the physical health of workers and the chaos of air traffic and aircraft accidents that can endanger the lives of other individuals. The purpose of this study was determine the factors that influence work stress on Air Traffic Controller workers at Juanda International Airport in 2019.This type of research is analytic observational research with a cross-sectional study design. The procedure of data collection is done by observation, interviewing, disseminating and filling out the related questionnaire, and testing the work environment. The sample in this study were 60 Air Traffic Controller workers by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed by univariate, bivariate, and multivariate with statistical test namely Logistic Regression.The results of work stress assessment showed that the work stress level of most workers experienced a mild work stress of 55%, workers who experienced moderate work stress as much as 45%, while workers who experienced severe work stress and workers who did not experience work stress did not exist. Factors that influence the work stress on Air Traffic Controller workers at Perum LPPNPI Madya Surabaya Branch Juanda International Airport in 2019 are workload, education, and work routine.It is recommended to measure lighting, temperature, and humidity regularly in the workspace, scheduling work hours for sure, checking work stress, adjusting to work, and maximizing rest time. Pesticides are toxic and dangerous materials, which can cause poisoning and environmental damage. This study aims to determine the effect of pesticide poisoning on farm workers.This study is an observational study that is analytical in nature using a cross sectional approach. The location used in this study was conducted in Takerharjo Village, Solokuro District, Lamongan Regency. The sample size in this study was 40 people who used pesticides and were willing to take blood. Data were collected through interviews and laboratory examinations and then processed and analyzed using the Fisher's exact test with the help of the SPSS statistical program.The results of the examination of cholinesterase levels in the blood of farm workers showed that 92.5% were normal or did not experience pesticide poisoning. The results of the Fisher's exact test showed that there was an influence on the level of knowledge of pesticide poisoning and there was an effect of using personal protective equipment on pesticide poisoning, whereas for other variables there was no effect on pesticide poisoning which included dosage use, spraying time, spraying frequency, working period.Suggestions for the community to hold discussions or outreach, use complete personal protective equipment, use the right dosage of pesticides, improve self-safety against symptoms of poisoning, hold periodic petroleum health checks, improve supervision of the use of pesticidesand need to do further research on other factors affect pesticide poisoning. Salah satunya adalah cangkang telur. Cangkang telur merupakan limbah sisa buangan dari dapur yang berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan. Sampai saat ini, limbah cangkang telur belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu pemanfaatan cangkang telur ayam broiler sebagai tepung kerabang untuk meningkatkan unsur hara pada tanaman bayam.Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen murni dengan menggunakan rancangan Posttest Only Control Group Design yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dengan konsentrasi yaitu 0% (kontrol), 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, 40%, dan 4 kali pengulangan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengukur pada parameter pertumbuhan tanaman bayam yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat basah batang, berat basah akar, berat kering batang, dan berat kering akar yang dilakukan selama 3 minggu. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis secara analitik menggunakan uji kruskal wallis dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Post Hoc Mann Whitney U.Hasil kandungan unsur hara N, P, K mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi. Hal tersebut berbeda dengan hasil pertumbuhan tanaman bayam. Pertumbuhan tanaman bayam menunjukkan hasil yang paling tinggi yaitu pada perlakuan 20%. Hasil uji kruskal wallis menunjukkan pada konsentrasi berat tepung kerabang cangkang telur terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan berat basah tanaman. Hasil uji Post Hoc Mann Whitney U terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari berbagai konsentrasi berat tepung kerabang cangkang telur terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman bayam (P<0,05).Disimpulkan bahwa pada perlakuan 20% menunjukkan hasil yang dianjurkan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman bayam. Hal ini merupakan faktor lingkungan dan perawatan yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman bayam. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan konsentrasi lebih rendah. Dalam lingkungan kerja yang panas, tenaga kerja mendapatkan beban tambahan berupa tekanan panas yang dapat menyebabkan kelelahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kelelahan tenaga kerja bagian bengkel konstruksi di PT Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya Tahun 2019.Jenis Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga kerja bagian bengkel konstruksi yang berjumlah 20 orang. Pengumpulan data melalui kegiatan observasi dan wawancara. Pengukuran iklim kerja menggunakan alat Pshichrometer, thermometer, globe thermometer, dan anemometer. Sedangkan pengukuran kelelahan tenaga kerja menggunakan kuisioner alat ukur perasaan kelelahan kerja dan uji asam laktat. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi Square. Dimana kriteria pengujian Ho diterima jika p > 0,05 dan Ho ditolak jika p < 0,05.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa suhu iklim kerja panas tertinggi mencapai 30,8 ⁰C, dengan tingkat kelelahan tinggi yang banyak dirasakan sebesar 93,3%. Dari hasil uji statistic menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kelelahan tenaga kerja di bengkel konstruksi PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya berdasarkan titik pengukuran menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan yaitu 0,0013 (p<0,05).Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kelelahan tenaga kerja pada bagian konstruksi di PT. Dok Dan Perkapalan Surabaya. Disarankan agar pihak perusahaan menambahkan pendingin ruangan untuk menurunkan suhu panas. Para tenaga kerja juga harus istirahat yang cukup dan banyak minum air. Pulmonary tuberculosis can cause death if it is not treated, so efforts need to be made to eradicate pulmonary tuberculosis. One of the effort to eradicate some cases of pulmonary tuberculosis is to improve health behavior by preventing bad behavior. Behavior is the implementation of knowledge, attitudes and actions. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship of preventive behavior to the incidence of positive BTA pulmonary.This study uses a simple random sampling method with a case control study approach. The population was random patients with positive BTA pulmonary TBC as a case of 59 respondents and neighbors of patients who did not suffer from pulmonary TBC as a control 59 respondents with a total of 118 respondents. Data collection is done by interviewing with questionnaires.The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.006 <0.05) with the incidence of Positive AFB Tuberculosis. There was no relationship between attitudes (p-value = 0.580> 0.05) with the incidence of Positive BTA Tuberculosis. There is a relationship between precautionary measures (p-value = 0.001 <0.05) on the incidence of Positive BTA Tuberculosis in the Work Area of Manukan Kulon Health Center.It was concluded that there was no between attitudes towards the incidence of Positive BTA, but there was a relationship between knowledge and preventive measures for the incidence of Positive BTA Tuberculosis. It is recommended to health service providers who have built Pulmonary TBC cadres to increase pulmonary TBC eradication activities to reduce the number of Lung Tuberculosis cases in the Manukan Kulon Health Center Work Area by visiting each BTA patient and their neighbors and providing incentive health education about Lung TBC. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara pelaksanaan PSN 3M plus terhadap Container Index DBD.Jenis penelitian ini adalah deeskriptif analitik dengan sampel penderita sejumlah 29 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Pengumpulan data dan lembar observasi dan melakukan pengamatan langsung pada wadah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dan tabel dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan statistik inferensial yang bernilai tingkat kepercayaan 95%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk 3M (PSN) Plus dengan Indeks Kontainer di Kenjeran, Kota Surabaya (p = 0,000). Dan juga ada hubungan indeks Kontainer dengan kejadian demam berdarah (DBD) di Kenjeran Surabaya (p = 0,001).Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya mempertahankan PSN 3M Plus adalah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya DBD. Sehingga masyarakat akan meningkatkan kesadaran PSN 3M, dan Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat (Puskesmas), diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang pentingnya Aksi PSN 3M Plus bagi masyarakat. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero) or DPS is state-owned enterprises which is engaged in shipbuilding and nationalization from the Netherlands. PT. DPS in the operational process requires a machine that causes noise during the production process. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of noise intensity, age, working, and ear plug on hearing threshold man-workers in production section of PT. DPS.This study used observational research design and belongs to field research. Based on the time, this study belongs to cross sectional research. The sample of this study is 55 people and used random technique. The researcher collected the data from observation, interview, and measuring. The data analysis was calculated by SPSS 20 version used Chi-Square test. If p > 0.05, the criterion Ho is can not be rejected and if p < 0.05, Ho is rejected. The results showed that the hearing threshold of production workers at PT. DPS are abnormal at 71.4%. Workplace noise that meets the requirements is only 40.5% and it is not acceptable for the requirements. Most of the workers in the production section of PT. DPS is> 40 years old, 92.9% and the rest are ≤ 40 years old. Work period of workers in the production section of PT. DPS have a working period of> 10 years with 97.6%. Workers in the production section of PT. DPS that did not use APT were 69% and the rest did not use APT. The hearing threshold man-workers was influenced by the noise (p=0.041) and the use of ear plug (p=0.03) and the hearing threshold was not influenced by age (p=0.192) and working (p=0.286).It is recommended for companies to carry out technical control, implement a work shift system if the work rotation system cannot be applied optimally, provide training on ear protection devices, and provide strict supervision and policies for workers who do not use APT in noisy workplaces. Pengendalian nyamuk dengan menggunakan insektisida kimia secara kontinyu mengakibatkan resistensi pada nyamuk dan dapat mencemari lingkungan. Kulit buah duku dapat digunakan untuk membunuh nyamuk Culex sp karena memiliki kandunga senyawa aktif Triterpen, flavonoid, dan Saponin. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis efektifitas serbuk kulit duku (Lansium domesticum corr) sebagai mat elektrik dalam membunuh nyamuk Culex sp. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen murni dengan post test only control grup design. Penelitian ini menggunakan 25 ekor nyamuk Culex sp untuk masing-masing 4 variasi berat kulit serbuk duku yaitu 0,125gr, 0,25gr, 0,5gr, dan 1gr selama 60 menit dengan pengulangan sebanyak 5 kali. Analisis data mengguankan uji one away ANOVA dan analisis probit.Hasil yag diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata kematian nyamuk Culex sp berdasarkan variasi berat serbuk kulit duku yang digunakan dengan hasil uji one away ANOVA p=0,000. Perbedaan rata-rata kematian nyamuk Culex sp disebabkan karena perbedaan jumlah bahan aktif pada masing-masing variasi serbuk kulit duku. Hasil analisis probit didapatkan LD50 pada konsentrasi berat kulit buah duku 0,392 gr.Penelitian ini menyimpulkanbahwa ada perbedaan jumlah kematian nyamuk Culex sp dengan variasi berat kulit buah duku (Lansium domesticum corr). Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan berat kulit buah duku (Lansium domesticum corr) untuk mendapatkan daya bunuh 100% dengan lama waktu pengamatan 24 jam. Factors can caused the presence of Escherichia coli in pool water are the levels of residual chlorine, the visitors who dispose of metabolic waste (sweat, urine) in pool water and disinfection of pool that were not done properly. This study analyzes the quality of swimming pool water seen from the presence of Escherichia coli in public pool water. This study was an observational analytic that use a cross sectional research design. The sample used were public swimming pool located in the Sukodono Health Center working area with total of pools were 10, and with Fisher's exact test. The results showed that main factor affecting the presence of Escherichia coli in pool water was residual chlorine content with a p-value of 0.019 which means that there was a difference number of Escherichia coli in swimming pools containing residual chlorine and in pool water that didn’t contain residual chlorine.This study concluded that there were differences in the number of Escherichia coli bacteria in pool water containing residual chlorine and in pool water that did not contain residual chlorine. To keep the remaining chlorine in pool water in accordance with Permenkes No. 32 of 2017, pool managers should routinely check the remaining chlorine and do chlorination regularly.
