With open-source implementations and model registries, these state-of-the-art models are freely available to anyone, and the successful application of transfer learning has meant benchmarks on previously difficult tasks can be beaten with relative ease. In this regard, Automatic Short Answer Grading (ASAG) is no different. Unfortunately, an infallible ASAG system is beyond the reach of current models, and so there is an onus on any ASAG implementation to keep a human in the loop to ensure answers are being accurately graded. To assist the humans in the loop, one may apply various explainability methods to a model prediction to give clues as to why the model came to its conclusion. However, amongst the many available models and explainability techniques, which ones provide the best accuracy and most intuitive explanations? This work proposes a framework by which this decision can be made, and assesses several popular transformer-based models with various explainability methods on the widely used benchmark dataset from Semeval-2013.","PeriodicalId":196340,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Digital Technology in Education","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125956685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Biologists’ research has shown that natural environments and highly “controlled” settings (such as botanical gardens) can help participants and observers reduce stress and maintain calm and peace. According to research published in the Journal of Environment & Behavior, those who spend time observing large aquariums or even smaller fish tanks may improve their physical and mental health. Virtual reality technology is the crystallization of the rapid development of computer software and hardware technology, sensor technology, robotics, artificial intelligence, and behavioral psychology. It can give users an immersive sense of immersion and a perfect interaction with the environment. Ability has been widely used in many fields such as medicine, entertainment, and education, and has provided more possibilities for the development of traditional technologies. This article simulates the \"natural (aquatic) environment\" through a virtual aquarium based on VR technology, and takes students from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China as the survey object, using the form of questionnaires, and using the results of questionnaires and heart rate measurements to determine whether college students are affected by species abundance and the influence of fish abundance. The project will provide evidence that VR technology can help college students reduce their stress.","PeriodicalId":196340,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Digital Technology in Education","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116293697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

If a disease is determined at the early stage then many lives can be saved. The purpose of this paper is to use the medical data to predict cardiovascular heart disease using both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and to show the effects of feature correlation on the classification model with over four different algorithms namely, Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes, Random Forest and Artificial Neural Networks. For the performance assessment, it incorporates F1-score, precision, Area under curve and recall. Overall, Logistic Regression algorithm tends to perform well for both Hungary and Statlog dataset whereas for Cleveland dataset, Artificial Neural Networks performs better than Logistic Regression in terms of accuracy. In terms of area under curve score, Logistic Regression performance is higher in all the dataset compared to Naive Bayes, Random Forest and Artificial Neural Networks. The results tabulated evidently prove that the designed diagnostic system is capable of predicting the risk level of heart disease effectively when compared to other approaches.","PeriodicalId":196340,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Digital Technology in Education","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115118194","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
