This paper aims to create learning innovations about the accounting cycle so that students easily understand the accounting cycle and can make financial reports. This learning innovation uses virtual reality and gamification technology. The methods used in this study is research and development study and ADDIE model used to the development model. Dua puluh orang mahasiswa dari UPBJJ-UT Bandung dan Surakarta yang meregistrasi MK MPDR5204 pada semester 2 dipilih sebagai responden dalam uji coba evaluasi one-to-one pemanfaatan BA Digital Interaktif dalam pembelajaran di UT. Aspek BA Digital Interaktif yang di uji coba meliputi kepemilikan gadget mahasiswa, kemudahan/kesulitan proses download reader dan BA Digital Interaktif, kualitas cover depan, kualitas dan manfaat audio dan video dalam BA Digital Interaktif, navigasi, tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap tugas, rangkuman dan tes formatif, sumber pustaka, dan kemudahan pemanfaatan BA Digital Interaktif secara umum dalam pembelajaran. Data dan informasi dianalisis secara deskriptif dan ditabulasi berdasarkan rekaman wawancara dan catatan peneliti. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa sebagian mahasiswa mempunyai persepsi yang positif dan berminat menggunakan BA Digital Interaktif. Sedangkan mahasiswa yang lain berpendapat lebih menyukai bahan ajar dalam bentuk tercetak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil evaluasi yang menunjukan bahwa MOOCs Public Speaking dinilai belum optimal dari sisi rancangan pembelajaran program, materi pembelajarannya, hingga tes kompetensi. Hasil penelitian digunakan untuk menyempurnakan program MOOCs Public Speaking yang telah dikembangkan oleh Universitas Terbuka agar memenuhi aspek keabsahan dan kelayakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pakar public speaking, praktisi public speaking, pakar desain instruksional dan dosen UT pengembang MOOCs. Temuan studi menunjukan bahwa secara ideal, pembelajaran Public Speaking secara jarak jauh tetap membutuhkan praktik secara syncrounus dengan jumlah peserta di satu kelas tidak lebih dari 15 untuk mencapai efektivitas program pembelajaran. Apabila diterapkan pada program MOOCs yang sifatnya masif dan self paced, maka dianggap sulit untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan pembelajaran MOOCs Public Speaking yang ideal.\u0000 \u0000This research aims to develop learning designs in Massive Open and Online Courses (MOOCs) of Public Speaking. This research is compiled based on the previous research results, which show that MOOCs Public Speaking is not yet optimal regarding program learning design, learning materials, and competency evaluation. The results of this study will benefit improving the MOOCs Public Speaking program developed by Universitas Terbuka (UT) to meet the feasibility aspect. This research used the research and development method to design a syllabus or learning strategy for the MOOCs Public Speaking program. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews with informants, including public speaking experts, public speaking practitioners, instructional design experts and UT lecturers who developed MOOCs. The study findings show that, ideally, distance learning Public Speaking course still requires synchronous mode with no more than 15 participants in one class to achieve the learning program's effectiveness. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan dua metode. Pertama, satu set instrumen yang berisi teks sumber (TSu)dalam bahasa Inggris. Siswa diminta untuk menerjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa sasaran (BSa). Kedua, wawancara untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang pengalaman dan pendapat mahasiswa tentang penggunaan GT. Terjemahan yang dihasilkan untuk idiom dan terminologi khusus tidak berkualitas karena dua sebab. Pertama, GT tidak dapat menerjemahkan unsur budaya karena masih dibutuhkan penerjemah manusia dalam proses penerjemahan. Kedua, mahasiswa kurang memiliki pengetahuan tentang bagaimana menggunakan GT dengan baik, sehingga pendidikan terkait GT menjadi penting bagi para penerjemah. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa atau penerjemah terlebih dahulu harus mengidentifikasi idiom dan terminologi khusus TSu sebelum menerjemahkan menggunakan GT. Kedua, mahasiswa atau penerjemah harus mengetahui konteks TSu sebelum menerjemahkan menggunakan GT. As a result, many people are unaware of their obligations and rights. In addition, many behaviors do not reflect politeness in society. Recently, blasphemy, insults, insults, and even threats are so easy to find in various places in public spaces. Therefore, civil intelligence education is the best solution for shaping public civility. Mental intelligence development is essential for a nation. It is necessary to develop literacy that can lead to a more noble and civilized life, namely human literacy. Human literacy is the estuary of data and technology literacy for 21st-century students for a more noble and civilized life. Distance Education has a significant role in building the quality of Education in Indonesia, especially in developing human literacy. The method used in the analysis of this discussion is a literature study. Adanya Covid-19 yang berdampak pada berbagai bidang kehidupan dapat mempengaruhi ketahanan mahasiswa untuk kuliah di UT. Selama ini strategi pembelajaran, faktor sosiodemografi, layanan tutorial, kemampuan akademik dan kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap layanan UT telah mempengaruhi resiliensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi daya tahan mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kondisi sosial ekonomi pada masa pandemi Covid 19 dan strategi pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap resistensi registrasi mahasiswa. Tingkat resistensi (mahasiswa registrasi ulang) dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan mengatasi kendala sosial ekonomi pada masa pandemi (Sosvid, 0,49), kemampuan akademik (0,38), kondisi layanan UT (-0,16), layanan tutorial-praktikum (-0,20), dan strategi pembelajaran (-0,44). Of the 104 respondents who filled out the questionnaire, as many as 88 respondents (86.3%) still wanted a synchronous meeting in the form of a webinar tutorial. Through a series of phased activities, a reflective learning program using discussion as the core of activities followed by reflection activities using the Gibbs’ reflective cycle has produced a reflective learning program in an online tutorial that is ready to be tested. The test was conducted to measure the students' reflective thinking level before and after using the program using the Kember reflective thinking level instrument. The study show that the program has the main characteristic of sharpening students' reflective thinking skills. After using the program, students' reflective thinking skills showed an increase in the highest score at the critical reflection level. The program has the advantage that students will get used to doing reflection and can practice higher-order thinking skills through discussion activities. Program limitations occurred because of the effect of program characteristics, namely, students must have high motivation, discipline, and independent learning, students must have sufficient computer and IT skill. The aim is to comprehensively analyze the role of UT Indonesia in providing higher education services, increasing the outreach of higher education, and quality assurance. This study uses literature studies to assess, critique, and synthesize literature on research topics that allow for the emergence of new theoretical frameworks and perspectives. The review process includes four phases: design, implementation, analysis, and finally writing a review. Studies show that UT Indonesia has a very important role in optimizing the field of higher education for the community. UT's excellence as a distance university is largely determined by the quality of service in the form of student satisfaction. In addition, with the characteristics of the distance education system, UT can be considered as a solution to various educational problems, especially those related to equity and democratization of education, as well as expanding access to quality education for all levels of society across time and space. Lastly, high-tech learning models and quality assurance systems can be implemented based on ICT. It is important to use a quality circle approach in developing DE courses and learning materials for students.
