When students learn independently, it plays an important role in learning success and helping students obtained optimal learning outcomes. This research was used analytic descriptive research methods and survey techniques, used four indicators of independent learning in terms of the process and management of students when they were studying. The results showed that most of the students had independent learning in high to very high categories on the indicators of having initiative and motivation to learning, able to diagnose learning needs, able to determine learning targets and learning goals, and able to monitor, organize, and control learning. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, pendidikan karakter tidak boleh diabaikan begitu saja, terutama di jenjang sekolah dasar. Pada jenjang ini, pendidikan karakter sangat dibutuhkan untuk perkembangan para siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah kajian pustaka. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dibutuhkan oleh siswa sekolah dasar meskipun pembelajaran harus dilaksanakan di rumah. Pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh tidak boleh diabaikan dan harus menyesuaikan dengan kondisi siswa serta situasi Covid-19. The research was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the BOS program in improving teaching performance and education quality. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach by using informants, including school principals, school treasurers, teachers, and school committees. Informants were selected by using purposive sampling technique and carried out to obtain data and produced an analysis of the field phenomena regarding the BOS program using the GOEM (Goal Oriented Evaluation Model) evaluation model. Indicator instruments include the preparation, structure, distribution, use, monitoring, reporting. The results showed that: (1) In general, the effectiveness of the implementation of the BOS program in the Kedu sub-district was appropriate in accordance with the BOS technical guidelines. (2) The effectiveness of the current use of the BOS fund program was less effective in improving teaching performance in pedagogic competence because BOS funds were not well targeted. The goal was to unravel and straighten out various doubts and complaints in the community who think that the implementation of online learning caused problems rather than an alternative to the practical mode of learning. The study utilized a literature study (library research), that is integrative review. It was closely related to the semi-structured review aiming at assessing, criticizing, and synthesizing the literature on the related research topic in a way that enables new theoretical frameworks and perspectives to emerge. Additionally, the process follows four phases: design, conduct, analysis, and finally structuring and writing the review. The study showed a broad misunderstanding in society about what happened during working and studying from the home period. Many people suspected that what happened was online learning. However, it is not online learning but an emergency remote teaching instead. This implied that most online learning in operations did not meet the standardized requirements as it was established. Furthermore, not using the intelligent flexible learning model (the Fifth Generation of Online Learning Mode) resulted in significant complications at the operational level. Moreover, what factually happened did not meet the characteristics of online learning systems and services. Above all, most online learning institutions still ignore the use of appropriate pedagogics. This study also demonstrated the importance of utilizing a complete instructional design so that the learning experience as a condition for the learning outcomes effectively achieved was equally present in the learning process. Comprehensive planning that was arranged systematically and structured will allow dialogue for students in the implementation stage. The dialogue space must occur not only between students and teachers as well as students and students but also, more importantly, self-dialogue for each student. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dan guru kelas integrated di Sekolah Alam Amardhika, pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi pada kegiatan belajar mengajar, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh, diolah dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Sekolah Alam Amardhika memiliki strategi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia yang terintegrasi di dalam Program Pembelajaran Induvidual(PPI) pada aspek akademik. Metode yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar diantaranya ABA, TEACCH, demonstrasi, penugasan dan tanya jawab. Media pembelajaran menggunakan media visual. Adanya perkembangan kemampuan bahasa indonesia peserta didik melibatkan semua komponen di sekolah. Mengingat jumlah mahasiswa yang masih kurang, perlu diadakan penelitian mengenai model promosi, khususnya dengan memanfaatkan potensi UT di bidang teknologi pendidikan jarak jauh antara penerapan remote laboratory. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana mahasiswa Biologi memperoleh sosialisasi dan promosi tentang Program Studi Biologi selama ini selanjutnya perancang model sosialisasi dan promosi yang berbasis remote laboratory untuk Program Studi biologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa pengembangan kuesioner, pengembangan model dan pembuatan media, pedoman wawancara mengenai jenis media dan materi sosprom, pengambilan data dengan wawancara dan diskusi kelompok, serta uji coba media dan remote laboratory. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa biologi UT mendapatkan informasi untuk masuk ke Program Studi ini melalui temannya. Setelah mendapat informasi dari teman, barulah mereka mencari informasi yang lebih lengkap mengenai UT. Sebagian besar mereka mendapatkan informasi tersebut dari internet. Selanjutnya telah disusun program sosialisasi dan promosi yang meliputi berbagai kegiatan dan berbagai media. Kegiatan yang dilakukan seperti kunjungan ke SMA atau ke instansi yang memiliki pegawai yang berpotensi kuliah di Program Studi biologi UT yang akan dilengkapi kegiatan praktikum singkat menggunakan perangkat remote lab. Penggunaan mikroskop berkoneksi internet merupakan kegiatan yang menarik bagi mahasiswa. Mahasiswa merasa terbantu untuk memahami materi yang dijelaskan dengan mikroskop tersebut. Quantitative research method with simple random sampling technique. The population is 116 people and the sample used is 90 respondents. The resulting instruments include: PKB planning, self-development, scientific publications and innovative works with indicators following and implementing training, workshops, seminars, making innovative works and scientific publications in teacher performance. While learning innovation is measured through learning programs, classroom management, mastery of teaching materials, use of methods, media and evaluation of learning. The application of reflective actions and the results of Classroom Action Research reports on a regular basis become a benchmark for more professional teacher performance. Statistical data shows that: 1) there is a positive and significant effect of the PKB variable on teacher competence by 9.28%, 2) there is a positive and significant effect of the PKB variable on teacher performance by 4.84% and 3) there is a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. Simultaneous PKB variable on teacher competence and performance is 14.12%. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan sustainability Strength Weakness Opportunity Threath (SWOT) dan analisis Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Dari 12 (dua belas) strategi alternatif yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis matriks SWOT dan matriks QSPM didapat 5 (lima) strategi alternatif prioritas yang dapat menjadi acuan dalam melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dan promosi. In most parts of the country, teachers still use the traditional ways to transfer knowledge from the collaboration of the conventional means of learning such as textbooks, boards, and situated in a classroom. In this pandemic situation, Government proposes that all teaching and learning activities in the schools should be conducted online. It makes stakeholders of education sectors, especially primary and secondary, manage learning strategies and systems. Based on the situation, Universitas Terbuka as the pioneer of open learning system has one program to facilitate students come from different places all around. It has an online tutorial where students can access material not only from the textbook but also supplementary materials such as teacher’s tutorial video, online tasks and exercises, and also online assessment. This kind of system can be adapted for traditional schools in the Pandemic era so that learning loss will not happen since students and teachers can still get connected to achieve learning goals.
