The reduction of forest area due to food estate projects can threaten the sustainability of local communities' livelihoods and even result in forced evictions from their homes. This can lead to serious social conflicts and harm the socio-economic sustainability of local communities. The problem focused on changes in forest area designation and changes in forest functions and forest area use. In order to approach this problem, data was collected through normative legal methods, which is a process to synchronize legal rules, legal principles, and legal doctrines to answer the legal issues at hand through a qualitative descriptive approach. As well as secondary legal materials used in this research are obtained from laws and regulations, books, articles, journals, the internet, and other reading sources that are relevant and can support research. This study concludes that large-scale land clearing such as food estate projects can have an impact on environmental damage which includes community rights. It is important for the government to consider the social, economic and environmental impacts of food estate projects, and involve stakeholders, especially farmers, in decision-making regarding agricultural and forest land use policies.","PeriodicalId":194212,"journal":{"name":"QISTINA: Jurnal Multidisiplin Indonesia","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141281180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, playing a role in the field, interviews with Senior On Duty and personal flight coordinators, flight coordinator activity documents and library studies. Data analysis techniques are by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that the flight coordinator officers had carried out their duties in accordance with the applicable Ground Time standards, but sometimes there were still some officers who did not use personal protective equipment such as ear plugs, hand gloves and safety shoes. The obstacles faced by flight coordinator officers are related to supporting facilities, natural and technical factors. However, complaints from residents regarding the discharge of hazardous wastewater into the river by the tofu industries have raised concerns. The village government and the local environmental agency found that the tofu companies were violating environmental regulations by not having permits and not complying with waste management standards. The role of law becomes crucial in resolving this case. The village government issued a warning to the tofu industry owners to comply with environmental regulations and improve waste management. If the violations continue, further legal action such as administrative sanctions or legal proceedings may be taken. This case highlights the importance of the role of law in overseeing and regulating rural small industries in order to maintain environmental sustainability and community well-being. With proper law enforcement, it is hoped that rural small industries can grow sustainably in accordance with applicable regulations.","PeriodicalId":194212,"journal":{"name":"QISTINA: Jurnal Multidisiplin Indonesia","volume":"45 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141275623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the end of the 20th century, the demand to replace fossil energy with alternative energy became greater with public awareness of renewable energy for the sustainability of nature. One of the renewable energies that is developing rapidly in the world today is the use of wind. Wind energy is a renewable energy that is very flexible, environmentally friendly, and has good work efficiency. In general, Indonesia is still very dependent on electricity supplies from the State Electricity Company (PLN), but several areas, especially the coast and outer islands of the country, have not been touched by PLN. So there is a real need for alternative energy sources that support energy needs for national defense, one of which is through wind energy which is very abundant, especially along the coastline. The aim of writing this work is to optimize the utilization of the potential of wind energy as an alternative electrical power in coastal areas and beaches in Indonesia which can be used for energy needs in guarding the coast on the outer islands. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review method. The results of the literature study show that most of Indonesia's coastal areas have wind speeds between 5 m/s and 10 m/s, which meets the minimum wind speed requirements for wind power plants of 3.3 m/s for small scale. So that in its implementation, the PLTB design can adapt to electrical power needs. For better effectiveness, the use of PLTB can be combined with other sources of electrical energy, for example solar power.","PeriodicalId":194212,"journal":{"name":"QISTINA: Jurnal Multidisiplin Indonesia","volume":"40 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141275166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
