These adaptive schemes are modifications of the standard LMS algorithm and have the ability to incorporate constraints imposed on coefficients in order to permit location-invariant and unbiased estimation of a constant signal in the presence of additive white noise. The convergence in the mean of the filter coefficients is proven. First, the parameters of differential equations are estimated and then the physical parameters are calculated based on algebraic relations. After considering the model structure a suitable parameter estimation method for continuous-time signals is described, and the influence of a priori known parameters on the convergence is shown. The determination of physical parameters is then considered based on nonlinear algebraic relations known from theoretical modeling.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":193917,"journal":{"name":"[1991 Proceedings] 6th Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1991-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125392056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These two images are obtained by illuminating the scene with a projector whose light is filtered, successively, by a graded and a constant neutral density filter. Calibration steps, involving the determination of camera and light projector geometric parameters and ratio calibration data, are analyzed. A new ratio calibration procedure is proposed. Results of two depth calculation methods are presented, and system accuracy is evaluated for several test scenes.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":193917,"journal":{"name":"[1991 Proceedings] 6th Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference","volume":"61 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1991-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116225737","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
