These factors and relationships between these factors are considered in the paper by means of theoretical mathematical calculations. In the first part of the paper, the theoretical mathematical calculations are focused on the maximum speed limits a closed village with respect to pedestrians. In the second part of the paper calculations are focused on the crossing of vehicles. The results presented in the article point out the importance of maintaining maximum speed limit.","PeriodicalId":192816,"journal":{"name":"2020 XII International Science-Technical Conference AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124750960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This approach is based on the fact that for PMSM there is no need to create an excitation field in the machine with the use of external sources. In analytical studies, it was proved that reactive power in the PMSM - inverter circuit can be maintained at zero level. A new concept for the construction of an electric car drive with PMSM that maintains zero reactive power in the system was presented and examined in simulation tests.","PeriodicalId":192816,"journal":{"name":"2020 XII International Science-Technical Conference AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117034659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, they are a significant source of harmful environmental impact. They have a substantial share in the total emissions of particulates and nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere, thereby affecting human health and life, it means ecological safety. Rigorous standards impose the limitation of emissions of harmful compounds by combustion engines used in transport. Therefore, there is search for solutions that will limit the negative effects of using compression ignition engines. One of such solutions is the use of renewable fuels in the form of vegetable oils’ fatty acid esters. The purpose of the paper was to demonstrate the impact of using rapeseed oil’s fatty acid methyl esters with no additives on the concentration of particulates and nitrogen oxides. The testing was conducted for a state-of-the-art compression ignition engine equipped with the Common Rail fuel supply system used for passenger cars. During the testing, the engine was operating at varying loads and constant crankshaft speed at which the engine achieves its maximum torque. The fuel compared to the measurement results for esters was diesel fuel without biofuel additives. Fuelling the engine with esters allowed for increasing the nitrogen oxides’ concentration in the exhaust fumes. Simultaneously, it allowed for obtaining substantially lower concentrations of Soot, soluble organic fractions and total particulates content. The concentration of hydrocarbons was also halved. The use of esters is a good fuel alternative for supplying compression ignition engines. Esters constitute renewable fuel obtained from organic matter and favourably affect the balance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.","PeriodicalId":192816,"journal":{"name":"2020 XII International Science-Technical Conference AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY","volume":"339 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115269086","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These devices generate, transmit, process and store digital data. Human transformation from digital data creates digital information that can be used for many purposes. Thus, forensic experts, security experts, police officers and investigators can use this information to clarify a traffic accident, the behavior of a vehicle and its crew before, during and after an accident or other incident or security event under investigation. Invehicle data is stored in different devices, in different data formats, and is generally not internationally standardized. Similarly, some tools for analyzing this data for forensic purposes within the European Union are not standardized. These facts make it difficult to use digital data and information obtained from it for forensic purposes. The paper deals with sources, classification, characteristics and uses of digital information in vehicles for forensic purposes from various perspectives.","PeriodicalId":192816,"journal":{"name":"2020 XII International Science-Technical Conference AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY","volume":"310 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122779779","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The demand for transport services is determined by several factors at the same time. The impact rate of these factors varies while the impact of individual factors of demand are different also in terms of the groups of passengers realizing demand for bus transport. In order to assess the quality level, it is necessary to propose not only appropriate procedures for measuring quality criteria including the transformation of the quality loop but also to quantitative methods for expressing the quality level of transport services. In the next phase, a methodology for quantifying the impact of transport service quality on the demand for bus transport within the current needs and habits of passengers in the conditions of a particular region of the SR is proposed and applied. Improving the quality of transport services can help to stabilize the constantly decreasing demand for bus transport. By improving the quality of transport services, the objective is to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of the demand for bus transport and thus to eliminate negative impacts of individual car transport.","PeriodicalId":192816,"journal":{"name":"2020 XII International Science-Technical Conference AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114136999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most important element of the vehicle structure is part of the space frame or safety cage. The engine, braking system, fuel system and steering system, suspension, as well as the body and parts, their assembly knots, hinges, locks, etc. are attached to the frame. The frame must therefore be of sufficient strength to protect the structure and the load in the event of overturning or impact. The frame is made of steel pipes of specific dimensions, and strength is determined by regulatory requirements. The torsional stiffness of the vehicle chassis has a significant impact on its driving characteristics and is therefore an important parameter for measurement. Energy storage (battery) testing is of great importance from the point of view of the safe operation of an electric vehicle.","PeriodicalId":192816,"journal":{"name":"2020 XII International Science-Technical Conference AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132684950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main function of residential zones is primarily housing, so this function should be superior to everyone else. This can only be achieved by calming traffic, whether by reducing the maximum speed limit, or by installing speed limiting devices. The safety of the population and the best possible living conditions should be a major objective in the creation of residential areas. However, under the conditions of the Slovak Republic these objectives are often not achieved and in residential areas the traffic function prevails. This is due, for example, to the speed of vehicles and their parking in places where this is not permitted in the residential area. Another problem is the segregation of individual roads in the area and the use of road communications by road and footpaths. In addition, the paper points to the knowledge of the specific conditions of operation of motor vehicles in these zones, especially among young drivers. Based on the results, it then offers a possible solution to the problem in order to increase safety [17] and at the same time to improve the quality of life in areas that have a primary residential function and are in direct contact between vehicles and pedestrians.","PeriodicalId":192816,"journal":{"name":"2020 XII International Science-Technical Conference AUTOMOTIVE SAFETY","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133326268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
