This work presents a simple and yet, fast approach to detect simultaneous machinery faults using sound mixture emitted by machines. We developed a microphone array as the sensor. By exploiting the independency of each individual signal, we estimated the mixture of the signals and compared time-domain independent component analysis (TDICA), frequency-domain independent component analysis (FDICA) and Multi-stage ICA. In this research, four fault conditions commonly occurred in industry were evaluated, namely normal (as baseline), unbalance, misalignment and bearing fault. The results showed that the best separation process by SNR criterion was time-domain ICA. The demagnetization factor was calculated based on the physical dimension, the self-inductance of coil without inserting the core (L<inf>no_core</inf>) and by inserting the core (L<inf>core</inf>) of the sensor. This paper describes the proof of concept of real time traceability using RFID technology on Lego Robot simulation environment and LabVIEW developed interface that can be similarly implemented in Small and Medium Scale (SMI) industry. In this paper, the development of a small scale refrigeration system based on thernoacoustic principle is presented. The main apparatus is a resonator, which is designed with variations of resonator length and stack space. The experiment shows the appearance of the temperature gradient along the apparatus during the resonance. The experimental results showed that the combination of 75 cm, 70 cm, and 60 cm resonator lengths and 1 mm, 0,32 mm and 0,25 mm stack space showed the thermoacoustic phenomenon as predicted, while other variations did not. The calculation of acoustic power and COPcn showed that air is not a suitable working fluid. The propose of this transliteration model is being able to used by all society and not only for Javanesse society. The using of communication and information technology to build Latin to Javanesse characters transliteration pattern model using linguistic computation. That will be transliterated is parsed or broke to get token list (sylabic). The Context Free Recursive Descent Parser method with specific production rule can be used in checking and breaking Latin string to produce right Javanesse pattern. From the testing it is seen that by using The Context-Free Recursive-Descent Parser algorithm, text document in Latin writing can be processed so that syllable split patterns can be produced correctly. Using Pattern Matching method, the produced syllable split patterns are processed into the process of converting syllable split patterns to be Javanesse character and the mapping of their writing scheme. Materials of nominal compositions BaFe<inf>12–2x</inf>(MnTi)<inf>x</inf>O<inf>19</inf> (x =3D 0.0; 1.5 and 2.5) were prepared through a two-stage process by mechanical alloying and successive sintering. The first stage was the preparation of (Fe, Mn, Ti)<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> obtained from partial substitution of Mn<sup>+2</sup> and Ti<sup>+4</sup> ions in a single phase Fe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>. This was followed by the second stage in which BaCO<inf>3</inf> and (Fe, Mn, Ti)<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> components were mechanically alloyed. A successive solid state reaction at different sintering temperatures has lead to the formation of Mn and Ti substituted barium hex ferrite. Phase identification by XRD confirmed the single phase material. Microstructure by TEM showed grains are extremely fine about 30 nm in size. The electrons diffraction rings of the area shown uniform intensity around Debye rings indicating that grains are randomly oriented. Evaluation on the magnetic characteristic for the materials indicated that coercivity decreased progressively as the number of Mn<sup>+2</sup> and Ti<sup>+4</sup> ions increased although this was also followed by a less significant decrease in the total magnetization. As to the microwave absorber, reflection and transmission coefficients as well as reflection loss in the frequency range 1–6 GHz were derived. Through non-mean field theory, the obtained eigen value and eigen function are used to determine resonance width parameter and cross-section of isolated level. By averaging cross-section technique and the Bohr model of compound nuclei, fission cross-sections are well produced. There are several methods that had been proposed to implement this spin injection, among others are using the tunneling effect and using Diluted Magnetic Semiconductors (DMS). In this talk we review the work at ITB, Laboratory for Electronic Materials Physics using the DMS. We review the depositions of DMS in our Lab. We concentrate on the DMS having Tc higher than the room temperature to avoid the use of the required cryogenics. We had developed the deposition of GaN:Mn and the TiO2:Co The deposition GaN:Mn is carried out using the Plasma Assisted MOCVD (PA-MOCVD). The deposition of TiO2:Co is performed in a thermal MOCVD system The magnetic properties had been confirmed. The spin injection into GaN using GaN:Mn had not been verified by experiment.
