Calculations are done based on density functional theory using Gaussian03 software and applying GGA exchange-correlation model of PBE (Perdew, Burke, Ernzerhof) with 6–31G(d) basis set. The energy of the Ppy doped with amino acids are minimized with respect to the orientation and distance of the amino acids to the Ppy. Neutral leucine carboxyl shows greater binding energy as compared to that other glycine configurations. This paper describes the vehicle model development of the vehicle model to study the behavior of the vehicle. The derivation of a 14 DOF vehicle model consisting of ride, handling and tire model is presented. The Magic tire formula was used as tire model. All the assumptions made for the 14 DOF vehicle model are stated. This 14 DOF vehicle model will be then validated using instrumented experimental vehicle for two steering inputs namely step steer and double lane change. This framework is very important since in many domains the labeled data are very expensive while a large number of unlabeled data may be freely available. We present a regularization method, so-called the regularized weighting factor to adjust contribution of the unlabeled data during learning process in order to reduce the size of labeled data. Some experiments were performed using benchmark datasets to study this method using the generative classifiers based on Gaussian mixture models. The purpose of this research is analysis the dominant location of brain activity in frontal lobe. Frontal lobe is front part of brain that controls the function of planning, problem solving, personality, behaviour, and emotion. BIOPAC MP 30 is used to measure EEG signals during do 6 activities as like listening to Al-Qur'an, reading Al-Qur'an, listening to music, relax, solving mathematic question, and solving puzzle. The location of electrodes are in the left and the right of frontal lobe. K-means method is used to determine the dominant location of brain activity in frontal lobe. The result of this research is the location of brain activity during listening to Al-Qur'an, reading Al-Qur'an, listening to music and relax condition seems to be in the right of frontal lobe. The location of brain activity is seem to be in the left of frontal lobe during solving matematic question and solving puzzle. The induction motor is modeled in terms of d-q axis with synchronous frame associated with the stator excitation frequency. The system is modeled and simulated under MATLAB/Simulink environment. Performances of the GP function controller are analyzed and compared to the Fuzzy Polar Controller. The main objective of the dispersion study was to identify the highest dispersion direction. Four pieces of Rhizophora Spp. wood phantom of the same size but different thickness were tested in this study. The dispersion of the phantom was traced by using thermal luminescence dosimetry (TLD). As much as 8 TLDs were used in each phantom. These TLDs were numbered as TLD 1 to 8 and were placed surrounding the phantom in counter clockwise arrangement. The setup of experimental apparatus was kept the same for every repeated experiment. The focal length was kept at 100cm, current used was 100mA at exposure time 0.20 seconds and exposure area (field size) of 138}132 mm2. When the kilovoltage peak (kVp) value was varied, the other parameter value was fixed. Results showed that the dispersion from Rhizophora spp. wood phantom was at the back (TLD position was 3 ± 4 %). The dispersion of Rhizophora spp. wood phantom increased when all the parameters increased except for enhanced focal length. The outcome of this study indicates that the Rhizophora spp. wood phantom is an alternative tool to use as a phantom for diagnostic study as it has tissue equivalent features. The dispersion of Rhizophora spp. wood phantom was also found lower in high photon energy (kVp high), suggesting that it can produce optimum dose if applied to body tissues. Observing the case at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia's library system, the results given by the search engine tends to be inaccurate or irrelevant, mostly due to insufficient input by the user. This research proposes further utilization of taxonomy system based on Dewey Decimal Classification in libwrary application. User personal taxonomy information that represents each user's interest of certain knowledge fields is created based on user actions on library collections. This visual stimulator plays vital role in BCI system since the evoked potential with duration of 300ms is mainly affected by the precise timing of each trial. It is preferable that the number of trials must be set as small as possible and it means that the stimulator which provides the random stimuli must operate in the very exact time. There are three main factors which contribute to the robustness of P300 visual stimulator in this paper: accurate timing provided by the high resolution system timer, video graphic display technology (i.e. OpenGL in this paper), and process/thread priority management. From the measurement, it can be seen that the timing function which is provided through a dedicated thread, has a very high accuracy with signal delay less than 300µs. All of programs written in this paper were developed using Open Source software tools. It is developed with two kind of patterns: letter matrix and icon matrix.
