The study specifically described the profile of the students; the significant difference of the 21 st century skills in terms of course, gender and age. The study employed descriptive and comparative methods of research. Methods: The descriptive method was used to describe the characteristics and the competency level of 21 st century skills of sixty-eight TVET students enrolled in the first semester school year 2019-2020 at Camarines Sur Insitute of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Philippines. The similarities and differences of 21 st century skills of the students, a comparative method was used. The percentage, ranking, average weighted mean, and one-way ANOVA were used for data and statistical analysis in determining the interpretation based on the 4-point Likert’s rating scale used. Findings: The study reveals that the overall level of competency of 21 st century skills of TVET Students is 3.081 interpreted as moderately competent which implies that the students can apply their skills in simple situations. Conclusion: TVET students in the Philippines possess the 21 st century skills with moderate category. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai Keterampilan siswa abad ke-21 di Institusi Satu Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Kejuruan Teknis (TVET) di Filipina. Studi ini secara khusus menggambarkan profil para siswa; perbedaan signifikan dari keterampilan abad ke-21 dalam hal tentu saja, jenis kelamin dan usia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan komparatif. Metode: Metode deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik dan tingkat kompetensi keterampilan abad ke-21 dari enam puluh siswa TVET yang terdaftar di sekolah semester pertama tahun 2019-2020 di Institut Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Camarines Sur, Filipina. Persamaan dan perbedaan keterampilan siswa abad ke-21, metode komparatif digunakan. Persentase, peringkat, rata-rata tertimbang rata-rata, dan ANOVA satu arah digunakan untuk data dan analisis statistik dalam menentukan interpretasi berdasarkan skala penilaian 4 poin Likert yang digunakan. Temuan: Studi ini mengungkapkan bahwa tingkat kompetensi keterampilan TVET abad ke-21 secara keseluruhan ditafsirkan 3.081 sebagai cukup kompeten yang menyiratkan bahwa siswa dapat menerapkan keterampilan mereka dalam situasi sederhana. Objectives: The aim of this research was to find out the patterns of classroom interaction and preference toward four English skills for students of Islamic Financial Banking Department. Methods: The data collection procedures in the research were based on classroom participant observation, student interviews, and questionnaire. The language that used for student interviews was English, and sometimes combined with Indonesia language. The last instrument was questionnaire used to know the students’ preference toward four English skills. Findings: The findings of this research indicated that the classroom interaction can be created through mutual understanding and appriciating between lecturer and student, in form of the manner of lecturer’s performance in the classroom, presenting interested and motivated materials, and applying reinforcement. Conclusions: The students’ preference toward four English skills indicated that 61 (61%) students liked reading skill very much. Keywords: Lecturer-student interaction, four English skills, interview. Abstrak: Mengidentifikasi interaksi dosen-mahasiswa dan kecenderungan terhadap empat keterampilan berbahasa inggris. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pola-pola interaksi dalam kelas dan mengidentifikasi kecenderungan terhadap empat keterampilan berbahasa Inggris bagi mahasiswa jurusan Perbankan Syariah. Metode: Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Wawancara menggunakan bahasa Inggris, dan dalam hal tertentu menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Angket digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecenderungan mahasiswa terhadap empat keterampilan berbahasa Inggris. Temuan: Interaksi dalam kelas dapat tercipta karena adanya saling memahami dan menghargai antara dosen dan mahasiswa, dalam hal ini dosen menampilkan performa yang layak dan meyakinkan dalam menyajikan materi ajar dan memotivasi mahasiswa, serta menerapkan metode reinforcement. Kesimpulan: Kecenderungan mahasiswa terhadap empat keterampilan berbahasa Inggris ditunjukkan dengan 61% mahasiswa cenderung menyukai keterampilan membaca. Objectives: This study aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of primary students using STAD model. Methods: The research subject were 42 of fourth grade students at SDN Salatiga 01 on 2017/2018 academic year. The data obtained in this study include qualitative and quantitative data. The research instruments used included the lesson plan, test instruments, and non-test instruments. Findings: The percentage of learning activities of students in the first phase was 77% and increased to 81.5% in the second phase. The percentage of classical learning completeness in the first and second phase were 67% and 76%, respectively. Conclusions: STAD model is effective to improve students’ activity and mathematics achievement. Keywords: STAD model, mathematics achievement, learning activity, primary school students. Abstrak: Meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dan aktivitas siswa sekolah dasar menggunakan model STAD. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar menggunakan model STAD. Metode: Subjek penelitian yaitu 42 siswa kelas 4 SDN Salatiga 01 pada tahun akademik 2017/2018. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, instrumen tes, dan instrumen non tes. Temuan: Persentase aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada fase pertama sebesar 77% dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 81,5% pada fase kedua. Persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada fase pertama dan kedua berturut-turut adalah 67% dan 76%. Kesimpulan: Model STAD efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Kata kunci: Model STAD, prestasi matematika, aktivitas belajar, siswa sekolah dasar. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to develop a more dynamic learning media by utilizing technology in the form of applications on smartphone devices to improve student learning outcomes. Methods: This study uses research and development methods with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, feasibility tests and effectiveness of mobile learning applications developed as learning media through stages designed according to the ADDHIE model. Findings: The results of the study through application testing showed that product development in the form of mobile learning applications is feasible as a learning medium and effective for improving student learning outcomes (p˂0.05), with an increase in the average value of 28 students from 57.32 to 81.43. Conclusions: The learning method “Imagination Box” which is equipped with the assessment instrument produced is feasible to be implemented and become variation of the learning method for teacher. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dalam bentuk aplikasi pada perangkat smartphone untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data dalam bentuk kuesioner, tes kelayakan dan efektivitas aplikasi pembelajaran mobile yang dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran melalui tahapan yang dirancang sesuai dengan model ADDHIE. Temuan: Hasil penelitian melalui pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan produk dalam bentuk aplikasi pembelajaran mobile layak sebagai media pembelajaran dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa (p˂ 0,05), dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata 28 siswa dari 57,32 menjadi 81,43. Kesimpulan: Metode pembelajaran “Kotak Imaginasi” layak digunakan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai variasi metode guru dalam mengajar. Objectives: This study aims to identify the process of formation of abbreviation, the causes of its use and its implication in French instruction. Method: This study used qualitative descriptive method, by taking utterances containing forms of abbreviation in French conversations conducted by several native speakers on Twitter from June to October 2018 as data sources. Findings: No elliptical data was found. The form of troncation which is divided into several forms of beheading, namely the beheading of one or two syllables at the end of a word, decapitation of one or two syllables at the beginning of the word, combined between troncasi and condensation and the most is decapitation by consonant or vowel disappearance. Conclusions: The results of the study showed that the abbreviation is mainly formed by troncation, sigle , and shortening by using letters having the same sound as the real word(s). Keywords: Abbreviation, french language conversation, troncation . Abstrak: Pengembangan Metode Pembelajaran “Kotak Imanginasi”: Metode yang Efektif dan Efisien untuk Mengukur Pemahaman Konsep Siswa. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses pembentukan abreviasi, faktor penyebab penggunaan abreviasi dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Prancis . Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskripfit kualitatif dengan mengambil ujaran yang mengandung bentuk abreviasi pada percakapan dalam bahasa Prancis yang dilakukan oleh beberapa penutur asli di jejaring sosial Twitter dari bulan Juni s/d Oktober 2018 sebagai sumber data. Temuan: Proses pembentukan abreviasi paling banyak berturut-turut adalah troncation, sigle, dan penyingkatan berdasarkan persamaan bunyi. Selain itu terdapat beberapa data yang tidak mempunyai proses pembentukan yang teratur. Bentuk troncation paling banyak ditemukan dalam bentuk pengekalan konsonan, pemenggalan silaba akhir, pemenggalan silaba awal dan gabungan troncation dan condensation. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembentukan abreviasi paling banyak berturut-turut adalah troncation, sigle, dan pemendekan dengan menggunakan huruf yang memiliki bunyi sesungguhnya yang sama. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of Entrepreneurship courses and Student Creativity Program on the interest in entrepreneurship. Methods: Quantitative methods with regression analysis techniques (t-test) were used in this research involving 100 University of Lampung students who had attended Entrepreneurship courses and had participated in the Entrepreneurship Student Creativity Program (Sampling). Findings: Based on the results of the t-test test it is known that, Entrepreneurship courses (t: 3.768 / p <0.05) and Student Creativity Program (t: 2.398 / p <0.05) can influence the interest in student entrepreneurship at Lampung University. Conclusions: The program have a positif effect on students interest in enterpreneurship. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mata kuliah Kewirausahaan dan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa terhadap minat berwirausaha. Metode: Metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi (t-test) digunakan dalam peneiltian ini dengan melibatkan 100 orang mahasiswa Universitas Lampung yang telah mengikuti matakuliah Kewirausahaan dan pernah mengikuti Program Krativitas Mahasiswa Kewirausahaan (Sampling Isidental). Temuan: Berdasarkan hasil uji t-test diketahui bahwa, mata kuliah Kewirausahaan (t : 3.768 /p<0.05) dan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (t : 2.398 / p<0.05) dapat mempengaruhi minat berwirausaha mahasiswa di Universitas Lampung. Kesimpulan: Program memiliki efektif positif terhadap ketertarikan siswa terhadap kewirausahaan.
