Today this aspect assumes the great importance because diversity of cultures is in the framework of contemporary civilization and they are in the constant process of interdependence and interaction. Each culture has its own language system and with the help of this system its speakers communicate not only within their native culture, but also beyond it.\u0000Thus, in the context the paper the author focuses on the national and cultural specificity of verbal and non-verbal communication between people of different ethnic groups by means of their national codes. National code is a goldmine for interpretation of the mentality of a nation, its spiritual culture, a mark of moral principles of people. \u0000Non-verbal means of communication have no small part in the process of cross-cultural communication. They expose national and cultural specific features of the ethnic proup, trace back deep into its history, represent national customs and traditions. In the course of cross-cultual communication non-verbal means juxtapose “image” of different culturs, baring an invariant and variant constituent part, they not only add the speech act, but also substitute the latter.","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129226287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The approach proposes a new methodology of cognitive research, deeply based on a rather particular epistemic conception. In the article, we consequently examine the concepts of ecology and of cognitive system. The latter is considered from the point of view of different traditions existing on the field of modern cognitive researches. We pay a particular attention to the distributed cognition theory which has introduced the notion of languiging in the scientific context. The term is elaborated in order to denote the subject activities, firstly, linked with the language use and, simultaneously, deeply immerged in the situation of two or more cognitive agents interaction sharped around the understanding. We also present several examples of cognitive researches accomplished on the field of linguistics which share the philosophy of the ecological approach and those results illustrate the productivity of its methodology. In conclusion, we give ourdefinition of what is meant under the notion of cognitive ecology and we propose a draft of what could be a “credo” of\u0000the ecological approach in cognitive linguistics.","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126428094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We are trying to show how American civilization transforms the consciousness of Russians, planting concepts alien to the Russian culture that are expressed in language borrowings in many areas. This is clearly seen in the transformation of meanings, namely, in the replacement of words with native Russian roots for transliterated Anglo-American concepts. As a result, the foreign mentality invades the cultural space of Russian people, displaces the original concepts, preventing even an adequate translation of the borrowed concepts into Russian, which is observed not only in business or politics, but also in education. This process, we believe, is not objective, independent of the subjects. It reflects the advance of Anglo-American ideology and aims at a radical restructuring of the consciousness of the Russian people, the transformation of the Russian people into a mass without traditions, without moral values, without language. As a counteraction to the process of colonization of consciousness, we propose the implementation of a national-oriented educational policy, which will allow instilling in young generations the values rooted in the national culture","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120899121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem is considered in terms of the linguistic situation in the country, in particular, by analyzing the relations between the English language and the languages of national minorities in \u0000different historical periods. The author compares the Great Britain’s language politics of the 19th century with that of the 20th - 21st centuries. Their goals were found to be completely opposite to each other. That’s why the author puts forward and attempts to justify the assumption that the reason for the linguistic situation changes in the country is the change of the national identity idea. The author argues that the growing role of supra-state structures is pushing European states toward globalization. It leads to a blurring of the national identity boundaries and to the unification of the entire European population. It is said in detail that, being unwilling to lose their national uniqueness and to intermingle with other European nations, the British turn to the culture and languages of regional people in order to broaden the concept of national identity. As a result, the English formula is replaced by the British one, in other words, by a conjunction of all national values, whose carriers reside in the United Kingdom.","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131866686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Deixis is one of the important ego-markers and most clearly manifests itself in a dialogue situation, which determined the choice of radio interview as a research material. The interview involves three participants in the communicative act: the interviewer, the interviewee and the interview listener. The interviewer, despite his role as the organizer of the interview, manifests himself as a carrier of subjective assessment (explicit and implicit), and as a discursive personality, and as a professional. Depending on this, the speaker uses the pronoun “I” in speech in different meanings: from “I” as a formal element that organizes communication between interview participants to “I” as a marker of the speaker’s personality (biographical and mental). Similar meanings of the pronoun \"I\" are highlighted in the speech of the interviewee. In accordance with the function of the pronoun “I”, we propose the following general classification of the personal “I” deixis: “I” deixis of the organizer of the communicative act, which includes performative and discursive “I” deixis, and “I” deixis of the person of the speaker, consisting of the biographical and mental “I” deixis. It is proved that deictic, regardless of the function performed, contains an element of subjective assessment, that is, the speaker, even in the formal role of the organizer, always brings his point of view to the statement","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123644814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author focuses on emotiveness of holophrastic structures in political texts represented in the Internet. A dynamic contradiction between the violation of a norm, taking place in new words formation (those new words are considered as occasionalisms of holophrastic type) and new ways of emotiveness representation has been studied from the viewpoint of language ecology. In course of research, more than 100 texts and microtexts were analyzed; at the same time, the ironic potential, language games and the possibility of self-expression of the subject turned out to be characteristic of political texts. As the main research technique, we used continuous sample of holophrastic set expressions; in addition, in order to obtain objective data, such services as Yandex and Google have been used. Holophrastic set expressions have been treated as a result of word formation and representation of such linguistic personality as native speaker of Russian.","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130402429","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author focuses on the point that the lingual trickster has a great impact on the diverse aspects of the sociocultural history of society as they modernize culture and cause a number of ambiguous spiritual, creative conflicts in it.\u0000The lingual trickster penetrating the historical field of a country takes different ambivalent forms of manifestation and aspects of influence, often determining how society adapts to new cultural realities and forms of behavior. Having emerged like a “chimera” lingual trickster “invades” a new society and begins to change the existing traditions and customs of this society, while ignoring its fundamental cultural values and basic life-determining meanings.\u0000This phenomenon manifests itself in a completely paradoxical way as a chimerical being under the influence of the rapid \"transferring\" of the spiritual-valued settings of a more developed culture of one society to a developing culture of another; or in the process of testing for the strength of new sociocultural values and ideals. It is a kind of combination of the incompatible and exists as long as culture is in existence.","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128917328","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The object of the research is the geographical names proper, nominating settlements, – oikonyms. The concept of the oikonymic space of a region is introduced, which is a set of fixed nominations of settlements located in a certain territory. The main problems that violate the criteria for the ecology of the names of settlements are characterized. A scale of oikonyms was developed and presented in accordance with the degree of their uniqueness within the region, including four degrees of uniqueness: the unique degree itself has the maximum degree; high degree-single-root morphemic close names; medium degree-complex or compound oikonyms; completely identical, doublet oikonyms are characterized by a low degree. The zones of linguo-ecological risk in the oikonymic space of the Volgograd region are indicated, which are connected with the arising contradictions between the desire for accuracy in nomination and the tendency to save speech. Defectiveness of symbolic names of settlements, which do not reflect their possible relationship with specific geographic objects, as well as the unjustified nature of certain renames, leading to a violation of the principle of historical continuity, was demonstrated.","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128173251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Philosophical reflection is an important part of communication in Russian. It includes some fundamental \u0000concepts in Russian religious philosophy, embodied in specific language, mostly peculiar to this spiritual and intellectual tradition: the Russian idea, unity, Sofia, sobornost, God-mankind, Russian cosmism, cosmedicy etc. This tradition, was tragically interrupted in 1917 and dropped out of the cultural context of our country for decades, began to return Home in the 80–90-years of the twentieth century. Its ideas, meanings and values can serve as a basis for the cultural unity of our Fatherland, because they are a reflection and expression of the special features of the Russian mentality. Despite the \"Russian\" nature of many words and concepts used by Russian thinkers, they go beyond the domestic cultural tradition in terms of content and have a universal meaning, so that the Russian philosophy of the Silver age becomes readable and revered not only in our country but also abroad. This article deals with three main problems of Russian philosophy: the Russian idea, unity and the doctrine of Sofia. The Russian idea is not only an attempt to theoretically comprehend the fate of Russia, the specifics of Russian culture and the Russian type of man, but also an experience of philosophical reflection on the preservation, transformation and salvation of man and humanity in General. Its universal value lies in the antientropic direction of Russian thought. Unity also offers a way of human development, which does not destroy the identity of peoples, cultures and civilizations, and involves strengthening the unity of mankind on the basis of their further development. The article provides an overview of this term in such Humanities as Psychology, Sociology, etc.; the concepts of authority and authoritarianism are differentiated from the perspective of the illocutionary point. The authors give the definition of an authoritarian discourse, the main illocutionary force of which is to exert a psychological pressure on communication partners. The markers of discursive representation of authoritarianism at different semiotic levels within the format of academic communication are analyzed. The key pragmatic characteristics of the academic discourse genres are the asymmetry of the communicative initiative and a teacher`s dominance in communication. The paper concludes that authoritarianism is expressed by a variety of lexical, grammatical, syntactic means at the verbal level (excessive use of professional terminology, modal words with the meaning of obligation, a language game, introductory words with directive connotation, etc.); and by phonation and kinetic means (speech volume and tempo, expressive mimic and gestures) at the nonverbal level. The pragmatic aspect of authoritarian discourse is taken into consideration.","PeriodicalId":185879,"journal":{"name":"Èkologiâ âzyka i kommunikativnaâ praktika","volume":"167 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122561417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
