The available data, collected in No.307 hospital of PLA, was provided to several intelligent algorithms(artificial neural networks, random forests, support vector machines) to create a model for predicting the NRDS probability for newborns. It showed that prediction accuracy of the model for NRDS could reach up to 98.07% in test. We observed that predictions of the model are in agreement with the literature, demonstrating that model might be an important tool for supporting decision making in medical practice. Other feature of this method were the input parameters could be obtained easily in clinic and the implementation of the risk assessment could provide rapid decision support information for clinic.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134272019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It provides a new and promising method for rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. BCI actuated robotic arm is an effective rehabilitation way for patients with upper limb disability. Based on the study and reference of the existing brain-controlled robot arm, this paper proposed a method of combining electromyography (EMG) and Electroencephalogram (EEG) to control the manipulator. Specifically, we collect EMG signals from the human leg and use the leg movements to quickly and reliably select the joints which are currently activated. The robot arm joints are precisely controlled by movement imagination (MI) brain-computer interfaces. The use of two non-homologous signals, scattered the burden of the brain and therefore reduce the work load. In addition, the program allows two kinds of operations at the same time, so the program is flexible and efficient. Offline experiment was designed to construct the classifier and optimal parameters. In the online experiment, subjects were instructed to control the robot arm to move an object from one location to another. Three subjects participated in the experiment, the accuracy rates of classifiers in the offline experiment were exceeded 95% and they all completed the online control.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133801137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Security mechanisms are designed to ensure that the IoT devices can be legally reprogrammed. However, the crypto algorithms involved in this process may unnecessarily overburden the IoT devices. In this paper, we describe a hardware integrated SDIoT system which can lighten the computational burden of the IoT devices. A protocol, called Authenticated OpenFlow Handshake is proposed to enhance the security and performance of the handshake process in an SDIoT system, and an Elliptical Curves Cryptography (ECC) chip can be employed to accelerate the signature process in the proposed protocol. A series of experiments are carried out with the results showing that using this type of hardware chip can significantly reduce the runtime of the protocol.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115648874","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, since the data within the RFID tags can be easily dumped using a reader of high power, malicious attackers can also track the patients or the objects, acquire the related information, and further infer the sensitive data with data mining techniques, causing the privacy breach of the patients and/or critical medical event if some urgent blood bag were replaced with an invalid one. In this paper we propose a simple fuzzy-vault based authentication protocol which separates the RFID tag ID into two parts using a fuzzy vault technique so that the unauthorized party is unable to infer the true ID simply by tracking the RFID tag. We explored the implementation of the conventional cryptographic construct, fuzzy vault, with the RFID tag data, and the authentication protocol is presented and its effectiveness is proven theoretically.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127409452","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
