The role of zakat intermediation will be related to management policy, especially in achieving the objectives of zakat distribution program, namely the utilization of the social and economic value of zakat. One of the factors associated with management policy is organizational culture. This research method uses survey and descriptive analysis research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used is questionnaires, interviews and documentations. The research population is the Amil (zakat collector) of zakat institutions in Great Bandung. The results of the research revealed that there is a correlation of the organizational culture and management policy in the utilization of the social and economic value of zakat. The research implications are expected to be used as inputs for zakat management to increase the utilization of socioeconomic value of zakat. Conventionally, the learning model employed in teaching deaf children is based on sign language and this limit their ability to communicate with people that are not deaf. Furthermore, these children are marginalized from the society because of their inability to understand the language used for public communication and, consequently, there is a problem of communication between them and other people in the society. The research was conducted through the use of qualitative research method while data as collected through the use of observation, in-depth interview, and focus group discussion. The data collected was verified through the use of source triangulation and descriptive analysis. The research revealed that total communication learning model through the use of pictures, writings, and readings increases and enhances the language skill of deaf children. It was also discovered that the model helped these children to communicate verbally with other people in their community. Conclusively, the research showed that it is possible for deaf children to communicate with other people without relying on sign language only. The purpose of this study was to find out, analyze, and discuss CSR models in the environmental communication perspective in three Southeast Sulawesi mining companies which included: 1) CSR model in the environmental communication perspective implemented for the surrounding community, and 2) the benefits of environmental communication in CSR activities for the welfare of the community in the environment around the company. Research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Research results show that: the model of CSR activities carried out by three mining companies in Southeast Sulawesi in the perspective of environmental communication include: Communication of Environmental care and community relations in the context of Environmental communication. While the benefits gained by the community surrounding the company from CSR activities include community involvement in environmental communication activities about the Charity Program and Corporate Philanthropy for the surrounding environment. This study identified that most of students who are actively involved in interfaith dialogue are lack of theological foundation but keen to understand more about the ethic of interfaith dialogue from Quranic perspective. The study also found the reasons of why young Muslim are eager to be involved in interfaith dialogue between Muslim and Non-Muslim. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data were collected using a depth-interviewed, observation as well as documentation. In conclusion, theological foundation of interfaith dialogue must be taught to a young generation who are involved in the interfaith movement because they are often unable to demonstrate the theological basis of interfaith dialogue. Besides, the pattern of interfaith dialogue should begin to change. The form of dialogue should not only present by discussion but also present in more interesting and interactive models. To get these aims, we collected data, i.e., postings on the websites they managed. We focus on Jamā’ah Anṣāru Tawḥīd (JAT) and Ḥizbut Taḥrīr Indonesia (HTI) as representatives of radical-muslim groups, indicated by democracy refusal. We analyze their postings by adopting Leeuwen's model of discourse analysis. We find that JAT representate democracy as a “religion”. For JAT, democratic leaders are “Islam apostates”, “kāfir”, “ṭaghūt”. Meanwhile, HTI regard democracy as an instrument for capitalists or colonialists. They regard Indonesia democratic leaders as a colonialist’s cat’s paw. We conclude that radical muslim groups have different perspectives and rationale in representing and delegitimizing leaders within democracy context. Language functions as a structure to oppose, delegitimize democratic leaders. Even more, the practice of language can be used to legitimize violence. For example, construction of “democracy as a religion” and “leader as a kāfir” legitimize sacred violence, e.g. terrorism.
