This study is categorised as qualitative research using a case study methodology. Eight participants made up the informant group for this study, including Mudir Mahad, the teaching staff, and six Mahad students. Purposive sampling was used to choose the informants. The researcher himself serves as the study's instrument. This study used observation, interviews, and documentation studies as data collection methods. Observation of the development, carrying out, and evaluation of a curriculum in the form of a checklist sheet. Semi-structured interviews were the appropriate category for the user interviews. Data and papers that are linked to the research issue serve as documentation. Nvivo Plus version 11 software was utilised for all data entry, coding, exploration, visualisation, and presentation procedures in this investigation. Tests for credibility, dependability, and confirmability can be used to determine the authenticity of the data. Mechanical Engineering Subjects to support the competence and competitiveness of students majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Vocational High School. The purpose of the research is to describe the results of the application of problem-based learning in order to improve students' critical thinking skills and improve problem solving skills in mechanical engineering subjects.This research is classroom action research. The subject of this study involved students of class XI of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program at SMK Negeri 3 Bojonegoro, 32 people, in the 2021/2022 academic year. This critical thinking skill uses indicators developed by Ennis.The results of cycle 3 for good criteria are 44% and very good are 28%. The number of percentages in solving problems is 72%. The results in cycle 3 for good criteria are 44% and very good are 31%. Total percentage for critical thinking ability is 75%. The research questions are focused on determining the level of self-efficacy and engagement of students with online learning activities. A qualitative research design was chosen to answer the phenomenon. Observations, interviews, and documentation techniques are used to collect the data. The subject of this research was fifty undergraduate students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah at IAIN Sorong. All of those participants were chosen because they have been experiencing online learning instruction. The data analysis was done by extensively coding the transcripts of the interviews and observations. The correctness of the transcripts of the audiotaped interviews was compared to the original recordings. High self-efficacy and contributing factors include the easeof the online environment, time management, and technology use. However, low self-efficacy and contributed factors are unstable internet access, and unfamiliar online learning applications. Enthusiasm, challenge, usefulness, emotion, participation, and performance are contributing factors to high student engagement. This study aims to improve student learning processes in PAI subjects by compiling textbooks carried out by teachers. The method used is the development method (R and D) at SMP Negeri 1 Banyuputih, . This study shows a significant difference from the previous teaching and learning process seen after the implementation of textbook products with the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. The ability of students to absorb learning is more effective, and students are more active in participating in teaching and learning activities. Students get convenience in understanding the learning material.
