Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP), and its extensions, are specifically designed to address the integration of these constrained devices. However, due to their limited resources, they are often unable to be fully connected and instead form intermittently connected and sparse networks in which Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) is more appropriate, in particular through the Bundle Protocol (BP). This paper addresses the implementation of a BP binding for CoAP as a means to enable Delay Tolerant IoT. After an overview of CoAP and BP, we present a basic implementation of CoAP/BP that we developed and some first experimentation results that validate the feasibility of the approach. Several leads are then explored regarding ways to take advantage of the BP features in order to achieve an optimized CoAP/BP implementation.","PeriodicalId":182204,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131787355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here, modelling and reasoning are most important functionalities and middleware is one of the common infrastructure to implement these functionalities. Essentially, techniques that are used in these modelling and reasoning processes should have flexible, well-structured, fast features as well as robust quality checking mechanisms. With these motivations, in this paper, we propose our context aware mobile application management system infrastructure with an exemplary smart workplace scenario implementation. In this system, we use our new middleware to implement context cycle functionalities such as acquisition, modelling, reasoning, distribution and extra features. Also, we propose priority based binary context tree approach to enable extendable, fast and well-structured modelling technique. To enable priority feature of tree, priority expression and stack data structure are used and all context attributes represented with binary values on the tree. Besides all these, to support our modelling technique, we provide new formal language with alphabets, grammar rules and words for formal based logic rule reasoning approach. Moreover these features, our proposed middleware enable context history keeping functionality. Using these informations with simple implementations, we show our modelling approach has %12 better time performance and our system has %50 higher performance value in terms of connected devices.","PeriodicalId":182204,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud","volume":"32 11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127442443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the presented contribution we have chosen an application with a high potential for value generation through cloud and cloud of clouds, i.e. The real estate business. The reason for this accumulated benefit that clouds may generate is threefold: (i) the objects in real estate business have high values, (ii) some phases during their life cycle cover very long time periods, and (iii) many different actors are involved along the value chain, many of them are SME's. We give a to-the-point insight into the real estate sector (life cycle, value, chain, actors) and demonstrate possible effects through clouds for selected stakeholders. We further give a brief overview of cloud-based products in the field of real estate for a well-defined market (i.e. DACH-countries) in order to demonstrate the current situation.","PeriodicalId":182204,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130036696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Multilevel Security represents one of the toughest unresolved problems faced over many years. Information and Communications systems need to exchange data, their software needs to be patched and updated hence, they need a connection to the Internet. Attacks can be launched using this connection, and through a compromised host attackers can steal and illicitly disclose information. In this paper we present a novel Multi Independent Levels of Security solution that enforces the separation of networks and data flow control through the use of a Separation Kernel Hypervisor. We show the robustness of our solution through a theoretical evaluation, supported by tools designed for the analysis of security protocols.","PeriodicalId":182204,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123903357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other hand, there are numerous accidents of information leakage using IP covert channels worldwide. Covert channels based on packet size modification are resistant to traffic encryption, but there are some data transfer schemes that are difficult to detect. Investigation of the technique to limit the capacity of covert channels becomes topical as covert channels construction can violate big data security. The purpose of this work is to examine the capacity of a binary packet size covert channel when a traffic padding is generated.","PeriodicalId":182204,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117106602","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Initially, citizens had a passive interaction about this kind of systems, which were used to retrieve data of interest on a map, however their role has changed and has become a major contributor of geographic information. Different organizations and specialized enterprises that generated geographic information, nowadays are creating platforms to let citizens contribute with information, this phenomenon is called Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) and usually generates big amounts of data. The potential of the VGI is huge, according to its context can bring commercial or social advantages. For this it is necessary to process appropriately the big amount and heterogeneity of available data. In this scenario is when the tools of Business Intelligence (BI) can contribute. This article aims to show how BI can bring tools to interpret the huge amount of information that VGI generates. For this, we took crimes reports and incidents in a VGI platform as an application. In this domain we propose how BI analysis can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of managing the Big Data available.","PeriodicalId":182204,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126229067","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, it is tempting to analyze in-progress diseases and to identify the development of potential diseases with the measurement repository. However, there are a number of technical challenges in developing such applications, modeling the relationships between diseases and acquired measurements, representing medical expertise in machine-readable forms, and high complexity in diagnosing disease methods. We adopt a semantic-based approach to resolve the first two challenges, and utilize the concept of cloud computing to tackle with the last challenge. In this paper, we present a cloud platform which provides a core set of functionality needed to enable personal medical diagnosis over the network. Recently, sentiment analysis of Arabic user-generated content is increasingly viewed as an important research field. However, the majority of available approaches target the overall polarity of the text. To the best of our knowledge, there is no available research on aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) of Arabic text. This can be explained due to the lack of publically available datasets prepared for ABSA, and to the slow progress in sentiment analysis of Arabic text research in general. This paper fosters the domain of Arabic ABSA, and provides a benchmark human annotated Arabic dataset (HAAD). HAAD consists of books reviews in Arabic which have been annotated by humans with aspect terms and their polarities. Nevertheless, the paper reports a baseline results and a common evaluation technique to facilitate future evaluation of research and methods.","PeriodicalId":182204,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-08-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124432990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
