The level of security contributes greatly to the competitiveness of companies, but it is greatly underrepresented among SMEs in Hungary. The study aims to answer the question of whether accelerated digitization harms information security in Hungary. The analysis mainly focuses on companies actively involved in e-commerce during and after the Covid-19 era. Further, the trends in information security are compared within Hungary and the European Union, highlighting a local-specific deficit. The study presents the results of 2020, 2021, and 2022 quantitative research conducted by Digimeter company, as well as publicly available data from the European Union’s DESI index (Digital Economy and Society Index) and NCSI (National Cybersecurity Index). The expected results of the research confirm that the lack of information security is visible in Hungary.","PeriodicalId":177983,"journal":{"name":"2023 46th MIPRO ICT and Electronics Convention (MIPRO)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131768790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of a Monte Carlo simulation that integrates dynamic tennis parameters in forecasting the outcome of a specific match. To predict the outcome of a tennis match, a conventional Monte Carlo simulation based on the identical and independent point distribution assumption requires only two parameters: the probabilities of both players winning a point on their own serve. A more sophisticated method proposed in this paper considers how fatigue affects a player’s performance and it analyses and implements the change in the probability of winning a service point after “breaking” an opponent’s service game. Calculating the relevant statistics required for player profiling was a critical step in this study. Following that, both previously mentioned variations of the Monte Carlo simulation were implemented to compare their performance. Finally, the method was tested on real-world tennis data.","PeriodicalId":177983,"journal":{"name":"2023 46th MIPRO ICT and Electronics Convention (MIPRO)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128312812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research uses the Financial Agency (FINA) data focusing on pre and post-COVID-19. Cluster analysis of companies is performed based on their financial indicators. Four clusters of companies were identified. Findings indicate that there is no statistically significant difference between the clusters in the profitability growth rate after the COVID-19 crisis. However, the observed period might be too short to measure the long-term effects. The financial analysis of companies in the Croatian software development sector gives insight into how the sector operates and thus provides valuable information for policymakers who would like to support its growth and development.","PeriodicalId":177983,"journal":{"name":"2023 46th MIPRO ICT and Electronics Convention (MIPRO)","volume":"6 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120842865","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After extensive research, a conclusion was made that currently no services exist that offer a convenient, easily interpretable information about the census. Our solution for this problem is CroStats – a simple web interface for population census data visualization intended for general public. The central feature of the CroStats is its intuitive and simple graphical display. It analyzes the most important categories of the population census by county such as population, age, birth rate and mortality. All this information is displayed on an interactive map of the Republic of Croatia. Extra features offered are graphs of changes by year and interesting historical and demographic facts about counties that the broader audience may have interest in.","PeriodicalId":177983,"journal":{"name":"2023 46th MIPRO ICT and Electronics Convention (MIPRO)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120865194","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its main drawback is the use of an RC low-pass filter which takes up the majority of the PLL area on the chip. The RC low-pass filter is necessary to ensure the PLL stability. To mitigate this issue, a frequency-locked loop (FLL) is used because the stability of an FLL system depends on the Miller capacitance inside of the operational amplifier, which drastically reduces the capacitor size and thus the chip area. This paper presents an improved design of a fully integrated FLL. It is based on a single frequency-to-voltage converter (FVC) which uses a single capacitor and a single charging current for the frequency-to-voltage conversion of both the input and output frequencies. The use of one FVC reduces the static frequency offset caused by the mismatch between the FVCs. The circuit is implemented in a 180-nm CMOS process. The measurements show that the new FLL design has increased precision and accuracy and similar chip area compared to the previous design. It has higher power consumption, increased delay time, overshoot and settling time, but they are comparable to those of the previous design.","PeriodicalId":177983,"journal":{"name":"2023 46th MIPRO ICT and Electronics Convention (MIPRO)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121124559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Afforded by strong mobile adoption trends, increasing shop-from-home behavior, and ever-increasing social media usage, LSC finds itself at the intersection of mobile and social within the expanding e-commerce field. Starting from 412 scholarly products and filtering for language, peer review, quality of indexing, and citation counts, this study provides a systematic review and lexical analysis of 93 academic peer-reviewed articles from the years 2018 through 2023 to explore the dimensions, contexts, and consumptive/collective behaviors of LSC users pertaining to mobile technologies. In particular, the nascent development of live streaming consumer behavior research and mobile technologies adoption are further compared to m-commerce and non-mobile streams of research. Findings reveal eight dialectics that define LSC research, diversity in theoretical approaches to LSC research, and ways to further explore the mobile technologies ubiquitous but underexamined within LSC literature.","PeriodicalId":177983,"journal":{"name":"2023 46th MIPRO ICT and Electronics Convention (MIPRO)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130663808","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The open-ended questions were divided into separate tests and the students, via video conference call, received instructions when each question was opened. In this way, all students wrote the same questions at the same time, and a certain amount of time was set for each question.
