Internet access speed is a form of community progress 5.0 in obtaining quality information. 21st-century skills have been born along with the development of information and communication technology (ICT). The rapid growth of ICT raises concerns about the human workforce that can be replaced by robots. The first actual condition is that 21st-century skills such as problem-solving, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication, are still low. The second exact condition is that the teaching materials used have not been integrated with STEM, with a value of 48%. The purpose of this study was to determine the practicality of developing STEM integrated electronics physics teaching materials to improve students' 21st-century skills. This study uses the type of research R&D (Research & Development). While the model used is the Plomp model. Based on the research results that have been done, it can be concluded that the results of the practicality of teaching materials in the one-to-one, small group, and field test trials are 80, 84, and 83, respectively. This can be interpreted that the electronic teaching materials developed are practical and can be used when learning physics.","PeriodicalId":176296,"journal":{"name":"PILLAR OF PHYSICS EDUCATION","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125019522","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Student learning activities with digital technology in learning cannot be separated, so students are expected to master technology such as electronic modules. Student learning outcomes seen from the final semester exams for class XI MIPA students are quite adequate with an average score of 5 classes, namely 62, so it is necessary to follow up with the manufacture of STEM integrated static fluid electronic modules to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the STEM integrated module with professional static fluid material flip pdf software. The research method used by Hannafin and Peck's instructional development model is focused on product-oriented learning design. The instrument used in the study was an electronic module validation sheet that involved 5 lecturers as product validators. Data analysis showed that the development of electronic teaching materials scored 85.63 which belonged to the category of good use. Therefore, the design of the STEM-integrated static fluid material electronic module can help online learning activities during the pandemic. Furthermore, this study is suggested to investigate the practicality and effectiveness of electronic modules.","PeriodicalId":176296,"journal":{"name":"PILLAR OF PHYSICS EDUCATION","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114591982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to reveal the value of the validity and practicality of the electronic physics module based on the scientific approach that was developed.The type of research carried out is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) using the Plomp model that is limited to the one-to-one evaluation stage. The research instrument used a questionnaire in the form of content and construct validity cards. The developed electronic module was validated by five validators, including three physics professors and two physics professors at SMA Negeri 5 Solok Selatan and six students at SMA Negeri 5 Solok Selatan. Data analysis used Cohen's Kappa moment value for validity and practicality.Based on the data analysis, the validity test results were 0.89 with a very valid category. Creative thinking skills are needed in various ways, especially in learning to improve student learning outcomes in class. So that text books are needed as a support for the learning process. For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the textbooks used are in accordance with the demands of the current 2013 curriculum. One of the curricula in the 2013 curriculum is the use of texts that can facilitate students' creative thinking skills. So it is necessary to analyze physics learning textbooks for class XI semester 2 on static fluid, temperature and heat materials as well as optical devices to find out whether the presentation of physics textbooks for class XI facilitates creative thinking skills. The population in this study were all textbooks for physics class XI published in Indonesia and used in West Sumatra. The samples used in this study were MK-ER textbooks and MR-TS textbooks. The results of the analysis show that the MR-TS physics textbook is a physics textbook with the highest level of availability of creative thinking indicators with a percentage of 38.69% in the less available category. This meta-analysis study aims to determine the effect size value of the effect of using worksheets on students' critical and creative thinking skills based on education level, material unit, and learning model. The sample of this study used 20 national and international articles. The articles used in this study have been analyzed and meet the categories for effect size calculations and are grouped based on three indicators. There are three group indicators analyzed, namely based on education level, based on material units, and based on learning models. The results of this meta-analysis study are 1) Based on junior high and high school education levels, the effect of using student worksheets is equally effective against improving critical and creative thinking skills, but when compared to the effect size results, the SMA level has a higher value, 2) Based on the material unit, fluid material units are more effectively used to improve critical and creative thinking skills, and 3) Based on the learning model, the cooperative learning model is effectively used to improve critical thinking skills and problem-solving is effective to improve students' creative thinking skills.","PeriodicalId":176296,"journal":{"name":"PILLAR OF PHYSICS EDUCATION","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123096050","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
