The integration of barometric height information improves in particular the vertical positioning accuracy. In this paper, we integrate differential air pressure measurements into Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning with a Kalman filter. W e show that t he d ifferential a ir pressure measurements enable a faster convergence of the float RTK solution and a more reliable ambiguity fixing. $T$ hereby, the proposed method is especially attractive for improving the RTK performance after temporary GNSS outages.","PeriodicalId":175742,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium ELMAR","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115024687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It could be applied in future IoT particularly for WSN applications in certain scenarios in which a central node with enough energy is collecting information from sensor nodes with limited energy resources. The central node must be able to predict the expected message in such a way that there is some correlation between its supportive message and the expected message from the selected sensor node.","PeriodicalId":175742,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium ELMAR","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131794062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our application for children with developmental disabilities can help to sustain that problem by helping them to differ and understand colors. Although primarily intended for children with developmental disabilities this application may also be used by typically developing children. This was made possible by a special Accessibility mode which can be activated inside the application. Accessibility mode requires the user to press and hold the in-game buttons for a few seconds in order to activate them which effectively prevents the detection of unwanted random presses.","PeriodicalId":175742,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium ELMAR","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115018273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite voice call as the basic communication, on-demand service is also video as advance way of communication. To have a video communication in LTE (Long Term Evolution) network, mobile operators should provide good radio conditions and enough bandwidth to support multimedia communications in general and video communication particularly. To achieve the required quality of multimedia communications via different applications, operators need to improve the coverage and the throughput capacity in wireless technology. This paper shows the results of the video quality measurements for Skype and Viber applications, in different radio propagation conditions in LTE network. Utilization of throughput and modulation schemes used during the communication are also measured and analyzed. Recorded video sequences are evaluated based on the feedback from the people (users) involved in the evaluation process. Mean Opinion Score (MOS) method was used as evaluation method.","PeriodicalId":175742,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium ELMAR","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128333945","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Investigations to both models have been performed using the following empirical procedures: calculation of station coordinates for each observation epoch; calculation of the time series of interpolated TEC values for all observation epochs using both the CODE and DLR maps; calculation of TEC values from the recorded GPS observations at selected stations; comparison and analysis of all three sets of TEC values, Rate of TEC (ROT) values and the time series of station coordinates to identify source of anomalous signals. The paper presents the first results of investigations using GPS data recorded during a period with quiet ionosphere and a period with high ionospheric irregularities.","PeriodicalId":175742,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Symposium ELMAR","volume":"328 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133144001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
