The study conducted at Bhayangkararia BTN complex, Sungai Garam Hilir Village, and North Singkawang District. The research method used was qualitative in the form of a case study. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies, while the data collection tools used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation tools. Informants in this study were parents and children. The results of this study indicated that parents have carried out both repressive and persuasive controls on children using smartphones at home during the covid-19 pandemic. The repressive constraint carried out by parents was by giving warnings and punishments to children who violate the rules, such as using smartphones excessively that causes children not to focus on learning. In addition, persuasive control carried out by parents was by giving directions, persuasion, appeals, and guidance to children so as not to overly use the smartphone and instilling an understanding of the positive and negative impacts of using smartphones. The research method used was descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were eighth grade of G students of SMPN 15 Pontianak. The research indicators were the students' feelings, attention, interest, and involvement. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data collection tools were in the form of observation guidelines, interview guides, and documentation tools. The informants in this study were students of eighth grade and social science teachers. The study showed that (1) during the learning process, students felt happy with the subjects; therefore, the learning atmosphere became fun. (2) Their attention on the lesson was quite good due to the lack of participation during learning via Google Meet. There were only some students who paid attention and took notes on the material. However, it was seen that students prepared the textbooks well. (3) The learners' interest in the social sciences subjects was good, seen from their enthusiasm in participating in an online class. (4) The involvement of students in social science learning was also quite good, seen from the activeness of students actively asking questions and doing assignments. The approach used was a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were documentation, observation, and interviews. Based on the results of the study the internalization of discipline and responsibility at SMP Pengabdi Singkawang went well even though it was carried out online during the covid-19 pandemic. The internalized character of discipline and responsibility were being punctual, wearing uniforms during virtual meetings, collecting assignments on time, leading prayers in turns, having empathy, working hard, and adhering to health protocols. The school internalized discipline and responsibility by giving good attitude, giving advice, and habituation. Supervision of the internalization of discipline and responsibility was carried out using a student and parents’ journal. The design of this study was pre-experimental with one group pre-test post-test design. The data collection technique used was asessment, which were carried out by collecting test results before and after treatment. Data analysis was carried out using the g factor formula (N-gain), recapitulation percentage, and effect size. The results showed that: (1) Students' learning outcomes were in the medium category, showed by the N-gain value obtained 0.40142. Learning outcomes increased by 8,625, from 71,625 (pre-test) to 80.25 (post-test). (2) The percentage of students’ learning outcomes increased by 8% from 72% (high category) to 80% (high category) after treatment. (3) The use of google classroom in online learning effectively improves students’ learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Nanga Mahap. The standard deviation was 18.31, and the effect size (ES) value was 0.470 in the medium category. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were school principals, teachers and students at SD Negeri 46 Singkawang City. The data was collected by observing, interviewing and documenting. Data analysis was carried out in stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses triangulation techniques and triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the inculcation of the values of responsibility and discipline that were integrated into integrated thematic learning was as follows: (1) The planning that the teacher has includes the character of responsibility and discipline in schools. The character of responsibility and discipline is explicitly stated in the RPP. (2) In practice, students have carried out the responsibility and discipline properly. (3). Evaluate the results by assessing the character of responsibility, discipline and cooperation in the learning process. Namun disisi lain, perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memiliki dampak yang kurang baik terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Hal ini dibuktikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa/i UINSU pada matakuliah algoritma dan pemrograman di Fakultas Ekonom Bisnis Islam , yang menurun hasil belajarnya di beberapa unsur penilaian karena mahasiswa beranggapan “ tidak perlu belajar karena semua data dan informasi sudah tersedia di internet”. Untuk itu motivasi dan dorongan serta supportdari semua unsur terutama dosen tetap diperlukan, guna menunjang hasil belajar mahasiswa tetap optimal. Today grouping people can be understood and labelled as stratification, segregation and streaming and can most readily be observed within schools and educational institutions. These grouping efforts and actions are addressed in related literature as sorting, tracking and categorization that may be at times tacit in classrooms and educational programs; nonetheless there are often life-long implications for streaming each student. Some education theorists may believe educators can sort students via assessment and evaluation of student academic ability however such attempts can be quite problematic, causing feelings of exclusion, marginalization and rejection. Academic ability is currently much more than a score on a summative assessment as academic ability has many social (home, community, engagement) and education elements (pre-school, instruction quality, class size, test bias). This study adopted the descriptive survey design. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 330 respondents from the secondary schools in Lagos East Senatorial District. The instrument for this study was a researchers-designed questionnaire and it was validated by three Educational experts. The instruments were pilot-tested and Cronbach alpha formula was used to test the reliability of the instrument and the coefficient was 0.81. Three research questions were raised and answered. The results of the findings revealed the extent to which teachers’ capacity building can enhance the achievement of human capital development in Nigeria is very high. The study also indicated several challenges militating against teachers’ capacity building in Nigeria and that the itemized strategies are laudable for improving teachers capacity building in Nigeria. The study, therefore, concluded that extent to which teachers’ capacity building can enhance the achievement of human capital development in Lagos East Senatorial District of Lagos State is high. The study, therefore, recommended that attention should be paid to development programmes that would make teaching career appealing and geared towards achieving human capital development in Nigeria. Students from four public secondary schools were purposively sampled for the study based on the access to use Tablet Pc for learning. Researcher-designed questionnaire was employed and contained items on basic skills, accessibility, utilization, attitudes competence and challenges encountered on the use of digital mobile technologies and the internet. Seven hundred and seventy-eight (778) respondents participated in the study and the data collected were analyzed using frequency counts, mean scores and percentages. Findings from this study revealed that considerable number of students have access to Tablet Pc and the internet; possessed skills, frequently accesses and utilizes their tablet Pc for fun, entertainment and non-academic related functions. They also cultivated good deal of interest in accessing social, fun and entertainment functions with their Tablet Pcs. However, students encountered challenges like: slow Internet connection, fragility of the touch screen, short battery life span, irregular electricity supply and uncontrollable challenge on the devices’ charging point.
