The simulation presents a combination of framework such as INET and MiXiM under three different scenarios, based on mobility. Sensor nodes consume more energy when they have to send data and the consumption of energy depends on many factors. Mobility and distance is one of them. Simulation results give a clear understanding that stationary mode scenario is energy efficient in terms of sensor deployment as the nodes are no more in mobile state and there are no other factors which lead to energy depletion. Only the energy consumed by sensor nodes is because of calculations and communications performed. It is concluded that the performance of B-MAC protocol under different scenarios can be varied regarding the consumption of energy.","PeriodicalId":171237,"journal":{"name":"2017 Fourth HCT Information Technology Trends (ITT)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124342113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To expand a SNS in view of a lot of online networking, territory capable mass stockpiling for web-based social networking information produced day by day by clients is required. However, the capacity to cut up, the interactive media objects makes the Internet more appealing to customers, customers and essential systems are not generally ready to stay aware of this developing interest. Sight and sound handling is recognized by cumbersome measures of information, requiring massive measure of preparing, stockpiling, and correspondence assets, accordingly forcing an extensive weight on the registering foundation. The standard way to deal with transcoding sight and sound information requires and expensive equipment in view of the high-limit and top-quality components of mixed media information. Along these lines, regular reason gadgets and techniques are not consumption viable, and they have confinements. To conquer the issue of capacity and execution, we propose another framework which is the combination of three existing framework's which are picture handling, Hadoop and video preparing. Here, we apply a distributed computing condition to our Hadoop-based information Conversion framework. Upgrades in quality and speed are accomplished by embracing Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) for putting away a lot of information made by various clients, Map Reduce for dispersed and parallel handling of information.","PeriodicalId":171237,"journal":{"name":"2017 Fourth HCT Information Technology Trends (ITT)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123580692","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data mining playing a huge role in predicting future from various data bases which includes weather databases, financial data portals. Emerging disease information systems has been recognized by industries as an important area. This brings the opportunity of major revenues from applications such as business data warehousing, process control, and personalized on-line customer services over Internet and web. Distributed Data Mining (DDM) is expected to perform partial analysis of data at the client's place and then send the outcome as results to the server where it is sometimes required to be aggregated to the global result. The primary issues to be considered for DDM are accuracy, scalability, privacy and autonomy of data. These issues can be easily handled with the intelligent software agents for DDM, because of its autonomous, adaptive and deliberative reasoning features. Apart from this, the positive side of this approach is that the complete system can be built using open-source environment such as Java Runtime Environment (JRE) which is a cost-effective approach and use existing computing resources available in the institution.","PeriodicalId":171237,"journal":{"name":"2017 Fourth HCT Information Technology Trends (ITT)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131271228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Educational industry is similarly, at the forefront in using and adapting technology, aiming to deal with mundane tasks and processes more efficiently. This research focusses on harnessing Virtual Reality Assistance (VRA) in education and in proposing methods to implement a Virtual Reality Assistant Tool in Dubai Women's College, in order to provide easy and quick assistance to visitors and students alike. Two different models are suggested for the parties concerned, one being the humanoid VRA (for visitors) and the other, an application that can be embedded in the college-portal enabling the students to use the system when in need. The advantage for the students is the quick access to services in their own convenient times. This project can greatly support the IT services unit in the college, as students would thereafter, more likely depend on the application to solve their mundane IT related queries and issues.","PeriodicalId":171237,"journal":{"name":"2017 Fourth HCT Information Technology Trends (ITT)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127704042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
