For individual young teachers, the degree of career satisfaction directly influences their working enthusiasm. A questionnaire survey is conducted among 300 young teachers from eight universities and colleges in China to study the relationship between mentoring relationship and career satisfaction of young college teachers, as well as the moderating effect of the type of mentoring relationship and the gender of mentee on such relationship. Results indicate that mentoring relationship has a significant positive effect on the career satisfaction of young college teachers. In addition, the type of mentoring relationship and the gender of mentee, as moderating variables, both have a moderating effect on the relationship between the mentoring relationship and career satisfaction of young college teachers, but they do not have a combined moderating effect.","PeriodicalId":171228,"journal":{"name":"Int. In SAAS software deployment, for servicing multiple clients, vendors deploy same software instance in multiple machines like multiple instances. The implementation would be done in vendor or client location. This type of deployment model consumes more resources such as software implementation effort for each machine and hardware resources. Multi-tenant web application maintenance issues are usage calculation for application, tenant data security issue in database and file server, authorisation control for application resources access and application deployment platform management of resource usage monitor and control for service level agreement (SLA) for response time maintenance. Multi-tenant web framework (MWF) provides standard set of components and utilities that expedites the process of developing multi-tenant functionalities and converts an ordinary web application in to a multi-tenant enabled application. With the rapidly upgrading of car models, to increase the successful rate of car project becomes more important, that is, to ensure the products quality at the same time assurance of the update schedule, to reduce the delay or even failure due to the quality problems of car project. The case of quality management in Beijing Mercedes Benz C-Class car project was studied. The quality planning, quality assurance and quality control were studied in the implementation process of project quality management, using advanced project management theory and methods. The results showed that introducing project quality management system in the car project could effectively improve the product quality and enhance customer satisfaction. This model is proposed by classifying consumers based on their shopping habits: strategic consumers and conventional consumers. The model was developed both with and without a consumer order cancellation variable. Numerical computation and sensitivity analysis were conducted to test and justify the theoretical model. The results demonstrate that the ratio of potential consumers in an advance selling period to that in regular selling period is the main factor affecting pricing decisions. Consumers' perception of price fairness and order cancellation have effect on sellers' total revenue. However, the role of information technology (IT) in workplace practice's effectiveness and FP is not much investigated. The objective of the present study is to investigate the relationship between workplace practices [low transaction cost (LTC), tangible and intangible service (TIS), and customer oriented approach (COA)] and FP in the hotel industry, China, and mediating role of IT. Through convenience sampling technique, out of 280, 192 workers returned complete and properly filled questionnaires. Partial least squares, structural equation modelling approach is used. The findings confirm that workplace practices (LTC, TIS, and COA) have a significant relationship with FP and IT partially mediates this relationship. Importance-performance matrix analysis highlights the 'COA' as a most important practice to enhance the FP. This paper reviews the DECUMANUS project experience, detailing the development of the EO derived tools, and evaluating the service products that facilitate the deployment of top-down expertise in land use planning. The central purpose of the paper is to assess the potential for use of these DECUMANUS high resolution EO images and data, also to support bottom-up participatory planning, promoting co-design. It is concluded: 1) EO derived images and associated data offer great opportunity to deliver top-down decision making tools, which combined with auxiliary data, including participatory sensing data, effectively support integrated urban planning; 2) EO derived images also offer substantial potential as communication tools, enabling citizens to make more informed and responsible choices and participate in co-designed urban planning.","PeriodicalId":171228,"journal":{"name":"Int. The 3D Scenario Creator allows urban planners to visualise urban development proposals in three dimensions, share them with different stakeholders and obtain their feedback. The Mobility Explorer allows urban land use and transport planners to visualise and analyse population distribution and mobility patterns in the city. Finally, the Urban Development Simulator simulates socio-economic activity in response to alternative planning scenarios. These urbanAPI ICT applications are implemented in four pilot cities; Vienna (Austria), Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), Bologna (Italy) and Ruse (Bulgaria), and evaluated with respect to their various requirements. Results show that the applications are useful tools, enhancing spatial planning assessements, and enabling public participation, communicating proposed plans to different stakeholders and identifying key development issues which can provide crucial inputs in planning and decision making processes.","PeriodicalId":171228,"journal":{"name":"Int. Motivated by the efficiency of multi-filtering in highlighting the image details, a new image fusion algorithm is developed in this paper. Each image is filtered along rows and columns to generate four sub-images. These images contain features along rows and columns. Each filtered image is given to the Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) operation for obtaining weights for fusion. Output of LoG is thresholded and edge preserving filtering is applied to get two sets of weights. Sub-images are blurred, sharpened and scaled with these weights. Finally, all scaled sub-images are added to get fused image. The proposed algorithm is evaluated both qualitatively (by visual inspection) and quantitatively (using various fusion metrics) with existing recent algorithms.","PeriodicalId":171228,"journal":{"name":"Int. Redesigning of these shifter circuits using reversible logic approach leads to the generation of low power loss digital devices. Reversible logic approach works on the concept of removing heat generating entities from the digital designs. Nanotechnology, optical computing, low power CMOS design, quantum computing etc. are some of the major areas of application for reversible design approach. Here in this paper, we propose two design approaches for the reversible realisation of eight bit binary shifter circuit with improved performance parameters as compared to the existing designs. Comparison of designs are performed on some selected parameters such as total number of reversible logic gates used in the design and total garbage outputs generated. The proposed optimised design is simulated using ModelSim software and synthesised for Xilinx Spartan 3E with Device XC3S500E with 200 MHz frequency.","PeriodicalId":171228,"journal":{"name":"Int. J.
