Chekhvalova","doi":"10.35627/2219-5238/2019-313-4-4-7","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35627/2219-5238/2019-313-4-4-7","url":null,"abstract":"In order to ensure epidemiological surveillance and prevention measures aimed at preventing of dangerous infectious\u0000diseases transmitted by mosquitoes, the ZikaMap geographic information system was used during the\u0000preparation and hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Sochi. The use of this information resource allowed realtime\u0000visualization and analysis of data on monitoring the number and distribution of Aedes albopictus mosquitoes,\u0000monitoring the performance and effectiveness of insecticidal (larvicidal) treatments. The cartographic\u0000display of the radius of spread of mosquitoes from the points of their detection made it possible to determine the\u0000risks of their contact with epidemiologically significant objects and correct the treatment plan if necessary. The\u0000results of the analysis showed the effectiveness of the taken prevention measures (a total of 139 objects were\u0000processed on an area of 252.2 hectares). It is established that population’s morbidity\u0000rates of skin melanoma from 3.3 ± 0.3 to 5.0 ± 0.4 per 100 thousand and other malignant skin neoplasms\u0000from 26.0 ± 0.9 to 32.4 ± 0.9 per 100 thousand increased; the mortality rates from them became\u0000respectively from 1.6 ± 0.2 to 1.8 ± 0.2 per 100 thousand and from 0.2 ± 0.1 to 0.5 ± 0.1 per 100 thousand\u0000in the region during the 2007–2017 period. According to the results of the correlation-regression analysis\u0000we found the effect on the morbidity of malignant skin neoplasms for such parameters as direct solar\u0000radiation on a horizontal surface, total solar radiation, radiation balance and longwave radiation\u0000balance; direct and measured solar radiation influenced mortality from malignant skin neoplasms. A systematic approach including microbiological, epidemiological\u0000and statistical research methods was used in carrying out the study. Bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae\u0000family (38.5 per cent) prevailed in the biomaterial of intensive care unit patients. Nonfermentative\u0000Gram-negative bacteria (46.5 per cent) occupied the leading positions in the infectious\u0000diseases department and Gram-positive bacteria (39.3 per cent) were in the gastroenterology department.\u0000Gram-positive flora (60.2 per cent in the intensive care unit and 50.7 per cent in the infectious\u0000diseases department) prevailed in the microflora structure gathered from hospital environment objects. All surveyed schoolchildren (181\u0000persons – 95 boys and 86 girls) were divided by age and sex. The main anthropometric and functional\u0000indicators of the cardiovascular system were analyzed. We established that the growth and development\u0000of the examined boys and girls corresponded to general biological patterns. It was found that most of the\u0000boys have various deviations from normal body weight: the presence of overweight and obesity were\u0000recorded in 50 per cent of cases, body weight deficit was determined in 12 per cent of cases. Normal\u0000body weight was recorded most often in the group of girls (85 per cent). The stress adaptation\u0000mechanisms was characteristic of every third pupil. We found a high percentage of the stress occurrence\u0000frequency in all schoolchildren, but girls had it more common than boys. Vistyak","doi":"10.35627/2219-5238-2019-312-3-36-42","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35627/2219-5238-2019-312-3-36-42","url":null,"abstract":"The paper presents the comparative studies’ results of the snow cover quality in the intracity districts of\u0000Samara and its surrounding areas at a distance of up to 1000 m from the oil refinery during 2017–2018.\u0000We have identified a high extent of pollution on a set of indicators caused by anthropo-technogenic\u0000influence (the content of hydrocarbons, suspended solids, difficult-to-oxidize organic matter (by chemical\u0000oxygen demand), some metals, etc.). Many important sanitary and hygienic indicators (a significant part\u0000of hydrocarbons, benzo[a]pyrene) were not found in filtered snow water, but ones were determined in\u0000suspended solids. Comparative analysis for the chemical composition of snow cover on the territory close\u0000to the oil refinery and on the streets in Samara revealed no significant differences. In this regard, it is\u0000possible to assume a significant contribution of motor vehicles to anthropo-technogenic environmental\u0000pollution. Its minimum inhibitory\u0000concentration for the strains of Vibrio cholerae El Tor O1 and O139 serogroup was 1–2.5 mg/ml in solid\u0000nutrient media - Martin's agar (pH 7.6) and LB (pH 7.2), while in Bhascaran synthetic medium, using\u0000glucose (0.1per cent) as the sole carbon source, N-acetyl-β-D-glucosamine (0.05 per cent) or colloidal chitin\u0000(0.027 per cent) it was reduced to 50–250 μg/ml.
