A hygienic assessment of thirteen border municipalities of the Orenburg region\u0000was carried out in the paper. We conducted an ambient air analysis for 23 substances, which are under\u0000long-term dynamic observation and a non-carcinogenic risk to public health was calculated. It was\u0000established that the Western and Central parts of the border territories differing in the qualitative\u0000composition of pollutants have the highest level of anthropogenic air pollution. At the same time, the\u0000qualitative composition of pollutants in the Western part of the border territory is mainly represented by\u0000substances that originate from gas and oil refining facilities. Priority pollutants in the Central part of\u0000the border territory are substances that originate from non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy facilities.\u0000Climatic data analysis in the study territory has shown that conditions for the transboundary transfer of\u0000atmospheric pollution, both from Kazakhstan and from the Russian Federation can be created with\u0000certain meteorological parameters. Non-carcinogenic health risk analysis showed the probability of\u0000adverse effects development on organs and systems, as well as the probability of malignant neoplasms\u0000occurrence in the population living on the border territories. High level of potential epidemic risk of centralized drinking water\u0000supply conditions for 21 subjects of the Russian Federation and increased level taking into account\u0000water quality, water supply of the population, isolation of pathogenic bacteria, virus markers and\u0000registration of the morbidity rate of acute intestinal infections with the implementation of water factor of\u0000pathogens transmission for 60 subjects have been established. When assessing recreational water use, a\u0000high level of potential epidemic risk was determined in 39 subjects, an increased level of potential\u0000epidemic risk was determined in 30 subjects, which indicates the probability of the waterway for the\u0000spread of the cholera pathogen and other acute intestinal infections of bacterial and viral etiology. Based on socio-hygienic monitoring data, over 70 per cent of the Sverdlovsk Region\u0000population is exposed to a set of various chemicals, and children constitute the most sensitive risk group.\u0000Lead, cadmium and arsenic are priority contaminants of the habitat in industrial cities and towns of the\u0000region. According to the integral estimates, chemical contamination of the habitat by these toxicants forms\u0000non-carcinogenic risks to public health. The established non-carcinogenic health risks are confirmed by\u0000social and hygienic monitoring indicators of the children chronic morbidity level in organized groups\u0000and indicate a statistically significant excess compared with the average regional indicators. The control group included 45 children, matched by age and sex,\u0000living in areas not exposed to aluminum. The study consisted of determining the content of IgG specific\u0000to aluminum, total IgE (hypersensitivity indicators) and phagocytic-active cells. A study of CD-markers\u0000of cell differentiation and intracellular markers for assessing the apoptosis system (absolute and relative\u0000suppressor T-cell receptors CD127–, Bax, anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 and proapoptotic cell death receptor\u0000CD95+) was performed. As a result of the research, it was reliably established that in the examined child\u0000population there are violations of the cellular immunity, which manifest themselves in a decrease in\u0000phagocytic activity by the criterion of absolute phagocytosis (42 per cent), relative phagocytosis (56 per\u0000cent) and phagocytic number (75 per cent) (for example, decrease in phagocytic activity of cells\u0000compared with control was 1.2-1.5 times), activation of absolute and relative suppressor T-cell receptors\u0000CD127–, Bax deficiency, antiapoptotic protein Bcl -2 and the proapoptotic cell death receptor CD95+\u0000(p < 0.05) responsible for apoptosis, relative to the reference values. All subjects\u0000were divided into 3 groups depending on the level of physical activity: the first group (control) consisted\u0000of schoolchildren and students, which do not involve in sports outside the school and university programs,\u0000with the lowest physical activity compared with other groups; the second group included persons with\u0000an average level of physical activity, who in addition to physical education classes independently engage\u0000in physical culture: running, walking, outdoor games and daily morning exercises; the third group\u0000consisted of schoolchildren and students regularly engaged in sports clubs and sections, having the\u0000highest level of physical activity. The following hemodynamic parameters were calculated: systolic blood\u0000volume, minute blood volume, pulse pressure, fatigue coefficient, blood circulation efficiency ratio, Robinson\u0000index. The data obtained for each group were subjected to statistical analysis separately for males and\u0000females in the age aspect. We have established the positive influence of regular physical education and\u0000sports on the metabolic and energy processes in the heart, which in turn leads to an improvement in the\u0000main indicators of the cardiovascular system. Thus, among schoolchildren and students regularly\u0000engaged in physical culture and sports, significantly lower values of minute blood volume, blood\u0000circulation efficiency ratio, endurance coefficient, Robinson index and high values of systolic blood\u0000volume, pulse pressure were noted.
