This means that the routing mechanism must be made in such a way that the data transmission rate is close to the transmission link rate. This study investigates the effect of a geographic-based routing protocol compared to the link state from an efficiency point of view. The system model is built to see the effect of link bitrate, path stretch, packet header, and packet size on the efficiency of the routing protocol in sending data. From the mathematical model, Link State routing is outperformed geographic routing protocol for 24% on average.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116864030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Femtocell used to expand the coverage and increase capacity and can be installed in homes and office buildings. Capacity at each femtocell base station is around 4-8 users, with a range of 30-100 meters. The most significant advantage of using a femtocell is to improve the quality of the indoor signal. This study discusses how users speed and distance between femtocell affect handover performance in WiMAX Femtocell. The performance here is calculated by the throughput parameters, data dropped, and HO delay. The users move from one femtocell to another femtocell, and from one femtocell to macrocells, so we can see user performance when handover. In the simulation results can be seen user’s handover performance on the network with the femtocell. Without femtocell, the results are that user performance becomes much better with femtocell installed on the network. It also can be seen the influence of user speed and the distance between femtocell user to HO performance. User speed does not affect user handover performance. However, the distance between cell affect user performance, the smaller the distance between femtocell, the greater possibilities of interference, thus affecting user handover performance.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124883373","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The involvement of AMC structure on the design of microstrip antenna makes the dimension of antenna to be smaller, hence it is easy to use for portable communication devices. The tunable frequency response of proposed microstrip antenna can be achieved by incorporating external elements, namely varactor diode. Here, the varactor diodes of STMD3001 type are used with the reverse DC bias voltage of 0V, 3V, and 10V. The proposed multi-band microstrip antenna is design using two layers of 1.6mm thick FR4 epoxy dielectric substrate. There is a square patch on the top side of the first layer and 4 identical square patches arranged in a 2×2 array on the top side of the second layer. The results show that the proposed AMC-based microstrip antenna could produce the tunable frequency response in the frequency range of 1.575GHz to 2.75GHz along with the variation of reverse DC bias voltage.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128563607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some previous studies explain content differentiated, but not yet analyze the performance of using the multiclass caching technique in various possible scenarios in detail. This paper will be evaluated and analyzed the performance of the multiclass cache technique with the various possible condition. Multiclass caching discussed in this paper is a caching algorithm that notices the content class distinctions and treats them differently in the content store. Each content class has a different logical cache portion in the content store. The goal of this research is to explore the performance of multiclass caching with the various condition of the system. The simulation result shows the effect of various cache portions, Zipf exponential factor, and the number of routers. It can be concluded that the multiclass cache is proven to accommodate the network performance per class and also the overall network cache hit ratio.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116114800","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
