Abstract
Indonesia has already begin to move to 5G for their mobile services. Although Indonesia are currently a late adopter of the 4G technology, Indonesia are preparing to make a move for transition to 5G network technology. Many Countries all over the world has begun to implement and deploy 5G in many cities of their respective country. Most of them are the leading and early adopter that target to lead the development and innovation of the technology. Based from other various country, Indonesia can compare themselves and make a benchmark progress on their development. One of the key element to the progress of implementing 5G is the allocation and availability of spectrum that Indonesia has. This paper will examine the probability of spectrum that Indonesia will use and predict the possibility that Indonesia will deploy 5G and make a rough timeline of the progress that occur during the time of development.
