Several policies were taken by the Indonesian government in terms of preventing and reducing the number of sufferers of the corona virus. One of them is new normal. The policy will certainly have an impact, one of which is the process of learning activities carried out online or e-learning. Many platforms can be used as online learning media. Whatever the platform is, what is certain is that the learning process continues to be carried out, it is intended one of them is so that there is no decline in the quality of each student. The use of learning platform media is not necessarily accepted by all students. Some technical obstacles are internet network problems. Not to mention the problem of the system being used. Several models can be used to measure the success of information systems, especially in the context of the use of e-learning, the Delone and McLean models. The purpose of this study is to see how the successful implementation of e-learning systems as a learning mechanism in dealing with new normal situations. The results of the study showed that the construct of user satisfaction had the highest value compared to other constructs, namely 0.696. then the D&M model can be used as a reference for evaluating system implementation because the results of data analysis show all indicators have an average value> 0.70 (Cronbach’s Alpha).","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133706377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The channel is Rician flat fading and its time-variation is modeled as a first order autoregressive (AR1) process. The channel estimation mean-square error (MSE) is calculated at the train for different forgetting factors, Doppler rates, and number of antennas. Under the assumption that the train has no apriori location knowledge, it is shown that the forgetting factor which results in a lower MSE is highly influenced by the number of antennas, but barely affected by the Doppler rate.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134412972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Computer vision is the first choice in this case so that the identification results are rapid and more accurate than the conventional method. Our previous research developed a method for wood identification using the Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) feature extraction and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as a classifier on Android smartphones. This paper proposes an improved wood identification accuracy of the HOG method and SVM classifier by utilizing several methods on the image preprocessing i.e. the Gaussian pyramid and the Laplacian edge detection methods. The Gaussian pyramid is used to reduce the wood image into a smaller group of pixels to qualify size wood image in the extraction process without reducing the image quality. On the other hand, to clear and distinguish the pattern in the wood image, the Laplacian edge detection is used. In our experiments, wood images from five wood species were used i.e. Kembang Semangkok, Ketapang, Preparat Darat, Pinang, and Puspa. The result showed that each wood species have increased accuracy, precision, recall, and specificity. The lowest increment accuracy was for Pinang and Puspa species at 4.00% of accuracy and zero precision value is found in Puspa species. Furthermore, from five wood species, there was a significantly increased result so it is very useful for improving the result of identification using HOG descriptor and SVM Classifier.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129403101","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has spread out to more than 200 countries including Indonesia. As of July 6, 2020, in Indonesia the number of people confirmed with COVID-19 was 64,958 people with 3,241 people declared dead. The spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia has occurred in various places, such as markets, stations, terminals, and worship places. The emergence of new government policy, namely the Adaptation of New Habits (New Normal), which aims to keep people productive and safe from COVID-19 during the pandemic, can backlash against people's productivity. Therefore, a solution in the form of Integrated COVID-19 Early Prevention Devices (INCEPS) in preventing the spread of COVID-19 at public area is proposed with artificial intelligence-based smart-gate and website integration. Here, the implementation of the proposed solution is in the form of smart gate design integrated with the INCEPS website to monitor community density in various places and to provide reminders for the public to more adhere in health protocols recommended by the government.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128025681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The potential of solar energy based on the National Energy Council reaches 4.8-kilowatt-hours per square meter per day (kWH/m2/day). Therefore, portable solar power plants using photovoltaic have high possibility to be used as electricity sources in remote areas or as alternative energy when earthquakes and tsunamis occur. In this paper, the development of portable solar power plant is proposed with the capability to be connected to internet of things (IoT). The design specification of proposed portable solar power plant will depend on the electricity power required by the equipments. The use of components for realizing the proposed portable solar power plant must support the portability aspect. The realized portable solar power plant equipped with IoT connectability has demonstrated the output AC voltage of 224V at the frequency of 49.9Hz satisfying the electricity needs in remote areas or disaster-prone areas.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130231232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The network slicing technique enables infrastructure service providers to create end-to-end virtual networks from radio access network to the core network. This virtual network consists of abstracted functions and resources. One of the network slicing issues is how to efficiently allocate virtual network resources on the substrate network. This can affect network performance in general. Resource allocation is strongly influenced by algorithm and computation time in mapping virtual networks into substrate networks and it is important to note because this affects service quality and profit for infrastructure service providers. From several studies conducted by the authors, the problem of resource allocation in network slicing can be transformed into an optimization problem. The optimization problem in network slicing is known as virtual network embedding (VNE). In this report, the authors test the virtual network embedding algorithms of GRC, MCTS, and RL to compare profit gain for infrastructure service providers using long-term average revenue metrics and computation time in mapping virtual network allocation. It can be concluded that for profit the RL algorithm is 1% better than GRC and MCTS. Meanwhile, the computation time of the GRC algorithm is faster than MCTS and RL.","PeriodicalId":166316,"journal":{"name":"2020 14th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems, Services, and Applications (TSSA","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124882597","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
