In the first part of this paper, we propose mathematical model of such modulated signals. Then we investigate the spectrum of signal and discuss some basic properties of such modulated signals, where we restrict ourselves only to a weak amplitude modulation with modulation depth smaller than 100 %. The final section is devoted to the signal parameters derivation techniques based on the power spectrum measurement and non-linear least squares iteration method. The effect of power spectrum measurement errors is also pointed out and a comparison between Bessel null method and proposed technique is presented.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131616947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However the high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of the MC-CDMA signal, a special drawback of multicarrier transmission, has limited its wider aplication due to inefficient use of power amplifiers. PAPR strongly depends on particular spreading sequences considered for transmission. Therefore, the performance analysis of uplink MC-CDMA for different spreading sequences and for different receivers in the presence of Saleh model of high power amplifier (HPA) is presented. The results of our analysies show that the aplication of Golay codes in conduction with micro statistic multi-user receiver (MSF-MUD) provide significant better result as the other investigated spreading sequences and receivers.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124028533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For purposes of this image recovery we can use the MAP criterion based iterative detection network (IDN) containing a number of mutually concatenated elementary function blocks so-called soft inversions (SISOs). This cellular structure makes IDN suboptimal but also numerically very simple and practically applicable in contrast to unviable optimal (single-stage) MAP detector. Firstly we focus closer on SISO entities and consequently on the creation of entire IDN. There will be introduced two different forms of reconstruction system (distributed IDN) together with complexity reduction possibilities and example of the image reconstruction by one of them.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124468510","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The metric is capable of estimating peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) values of pictures in compressed bit streams conforming to the H.264/AVC standard. It is designed and has been tested for intra predicted pictures with varying encoder settings. The metric uses an artificial neural network to estimate PSNR examining the compressed bit stream only. In other words, we do not need to decode the actual pixels within the pictures being evaluated.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132388460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The algorithm can be used to design a radio-communication access network of a UMTS/GSM mobile provider or any network using radio links. The basic optimization criterion is the network cost. Secondary also network reliability is taken into account. From utilization in the supply chain thought traffic application to livestock tracking and person's identification and verification. By managing the direction of the pattern we can gain more time required for accomplishment sophisticated functions of IC and the energetic feed increases as well. These facilities make RFID technology suitable for more advanced applications as position determination and localization in wireless ad-hoc networks.
