A very efficient detection of an individual signal within synchronous CDMA mitigating multiuser interference as well as additive noise is MMSE multiuser detection. Its adaptive version minimizes the prior information necessary for an optimized detector design. In the contribution the optimization of parameters of detectors based on steepest descent of target MMSE penalty function is summarized.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129981208","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus the first step in our design was to improve the CCII performance characteristic. The low voltage self cascode technique in CMOS technology was first studied. A tunable current- mode band pass filter using active elements unity gain current conveyor based self cascode current mirror is presented. The Q-factor and the central frequency can be electronically controlled by a DC bias current. To verify this, a Pspice simulations were carried out using 0.7 um technology CMOS process from AMIS.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124453928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For particular phases of that process, i.e. for raw radar data preprocessing, background subtraction, detection, trace estimation, localization and tracking itself, the phase significance and its corresponding representative methods are outlined. The complete process is illustrated by the results of processing of real data acquired by M-sequence UWB radar.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116742053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It can be applied in a communication system for remote control of measuring instruments, in signalling or alarm systems, and other wireless data transmissions. Presented data transceiver is conceived as a multi-purpose module driven by standard I2 C bus. The FSK modulation format is preferred to achieve a high sensitivity of receiver for required BER. Eight communication channels with 25 kHz spacing is configured as a default setting. The maximum transmitter output power is limited to 5 dBm, but separated RX and TX sections allow an insertion of high power amplifier in compliance with standard EN 300220. Circuit design, firmware architecture, and measured resulting parameters of this data transceiver are presented in posed paper.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"39 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131923665","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Substituting estimates for various statistical quantities in the resulting recursion, a large number of classical and modern adaptive filters are developed with ease within a unified framework. Taking further inspiration from the field of numerical linear algebra, in this paper we make use of the multigrid paradigm, mostly used in the numerical solution of partial differential equations and their corresponding discretized linear equation sets, to devise a simple, yet robust adaptive filter with better performance than the NLMS algorithm.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132143626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The technique is based on a lumped-parameter model of the MTL while its solution is formulated via the state- variable method in the s-domain. In this paper we describe blind detector based on the linearly constrained constant modulus algorithm (LCCMA). Simulations are oriented on multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) signals when turbo codes are used for error correction of transmitted images. We had investigated the system bit error rate (BER) performance in 3-states channel enlarged with a complex AWGN (additive white Gauss noise) noise. The channel model is assigned for land mobile satellite (LMS) communications. The application of turbo coding strengthens the system ability to cope with multi-path fading and multi-access interference (MAI) significantly.","PeriodicalId":162482,"journal":{"name":"2008 18th International Conference Radioelektronika","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123821029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
