It is mostly seen in cases of end stage renal disease or undiagnosed or untreated chronic renal failure. Its frequency has diminished due to the advent of renal dialysis. Clinically uremic stomatitis is characterised by the presence of painful plaques and crusts that are usually distributed on the buccal and labial mucosa, dorsal or ventral surface of the tongue, gingiva and the floor of the mouth. Ultimate treatment consists of improvement of blood urea concentration and underlying renal failure is supported by enhancement of oral hygiene with antiseptic mouthwashes and antimicrobial/ antifungal agents, if necessary. Here we report a case of a 50 year old Male patient who reported to the department with the complaint of inability to open mouth due to ulcers present intra-orally, who was a kidney patient undergoing dialysis, who was then treated with topical steroid and antifungal medications with follow up made once in a week.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124872222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Generally, they are naturally extracted from the Vinca rosea plant, Catharanthus roseus G, Don and show hyperglycemia activity as well as cytotoxic effects. It is used to treat various diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, asthma, inflammation, malaria, angiogenesis, brain imbalance, dysentery, and is also used as a disinfectant that occurs due to potent microorganisms. The vinca alkaloids are played an essential role to fight cancer disease. There are some major vinca alkaloids in clinical use: Vinblastin, Vincristine, Vindesine, tabersonine, vinorelbine, and Vinpocetine, etc. The flowers juice of Vinca rosea is utilized to treat several skin problems e.g. acne, eczema, and dermatitis. According to our opinion that it may be help scientists, ayurvedic practitioners, pharmacognosists, botanists, researchers, and students who are active in the field of medicinal plants research.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116920140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ongoing construction of dams on the state’s rivers destroys the breeding and habitat ground of this fish species. To inspect the current situation, the conservation of Mahseer is commencing a big challenge for biodiversity developers. To conserve the fish from steady deterioration, a unique M.I.R.A.C.L.E strategy has been endorsed which includes mapping of habitat, involving people with this project, research and data collection, advocacy for policy and legal framework, conservation measures following the restoration of the wild species through ex-situ & in-situ conservation, livelihoods connections, extension and training of frontline foresters on this conservation issue. In the future, this M.I.R.A.C.L.E strategy could help to guide in the right way to protecting this valuable fish species from being extinct.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129407526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In India, gadobutrolhas been is approved for MRI of the Central Nervous System (CNS), liver, kidneys, and breast. It has been noted in several studies that the accumulation of gadolinium occurs in different structures in the brain. Patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) are regularly followed up with MRI scans and MRI with contrast enhancement is the most common method of distinguishing new-onset pathological changes. Developments in technology and methods in artificial intelligence have shown that there is reason to map out the X-ray technician’s work with examinations and medicines administered to patients may be altered to prevent the accumulation of gadolinium.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131563883","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is the second most common neoplasm of the oral cavity. Unicystic ameloblastomas refer to those cystic lesions that show clinical, radiographic, or gross features of a jaw cyst, but on histologic examination show a typical ameloblastomatous epithelium lining part of the cyst cavity, with or without luminal and/ or mural growth. Even though the lesion is not that aggressive as the solid ameloblastoma, an accurate diagnosis should be made. This lesion needs to be treated more aggressively than any other periapical lesions.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121968047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Loss of anterior teeth with existing natural diastema presents problems such as increased mesiodistal space available for pontic which makes it very difficult to give conventional fixed prosthesis with rigid connector and wider pontics can be very unesthetic to look in the esthetic zone. This clinical situation is a major challenge for a prosthodontist; leaves him in a dilemma whether to close the space or to maintain it in a final fixed prosthesis simulating the natural tooth appearance. If implant-supported prosthesis is not possible fixed partial denture along with loop connector is the best solution to maintain the existing diastema and esthetics. This article presents a case report where fixed partial denture along with loop connector was used to achieve esthetic rehabilitation in maxillary anterior region maintaining natural existing diastema.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126780776","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, direct adhesive restoration with composite resins has become the procedure of choice for the treatment of anterior and posterior teeth. However, long-term durability of those restorations may be compromised due to progressive loss of the integrity of adhesive interfaces. This means that no adhesive strategy is free from technique sensitivity. The specificity and proportion of different constitutive molecules, the interaction between them and substrates can differ greatly from one class of adhesive system to another, which can affect bond quality. Protocol simplification has been an inevitable trend that has boosted the use of self-etching and universal systems in adhesive dentistry.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134638831","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is found in the woody elements of plants or seed coatings in the terrestrial environment and also found in seaweeds in the marine environment. Natural gums are otherwise called polysaccharides. Nowadays, there has been a remarkable development in natural products, especially in natural gums that have been used for a variety of purposes such as binders, emulsifying agent suspending agents, etc. In recent years, researchers are focused to produce biodegradable, non-toxic, and low-cost natural materials as these products help in the improvement of human health and provide novel beneficial manner. Moreover, natural polymers were used as a functional food in ancient peoples. In this review, the recent investigations and developments of natural gums have been discussed.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"270 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124383859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Stakeholders' views on these ethical problems are essential because they may assist establish ethical standards for bio banking. Physicians are key stakeholders because they may contact prospective participants and become bio bank users. The aim of this research is to assess Pakistani doctors' views and knowledge regarding bio banking and willingness to donate. A cross-sectional online survey was conducted to poll Pakistani physicians’ attitudes and views regarding bio banks. Between January and April 2021.473 doctors completed the questionnaire. Participants had sufficient knowledge of bio banking. Of those, 74.2 stated that they had heard of the term \"Human Genome Project,\" while 72.5% revealed that they were familiar with the term \"bio banking.\" 61.5% of the participants showed their willingness to donate bio specimens. Marital status (0.001), faculty (0.001), involvement in research (0.038), blood and tissue testing in recent years (0.420) and demonstrated a significant relationship with willingness to donate. While general health status, recent hospitalization, family history of inherited diseases, incidence of chronic disease, and gender had no statistically significant associations with willingness to donate. Although65.8% agreed that bio banks should be able to exchange bio specimens with foreign research groups and only 49.5% agreed on collaboration with pharmaceutical companies. Although more than half of Pakistani doctors heard of bio banking, the presence of bio banks in Pakistan was restricted. They were concerned about marketing, widespread consent and confidentiality. There is a great gap of knowledge and awareness among stakeholders that should encompass several educational initiatives. Community conversations on the problems of marketing and the return of research findings should begin to achieve an agreement.","PeriodicalId":162349,"journal":{"name":"Science Progress and Research","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122193478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
