The definition of the optimal scope of applicability of this educational format in the conditions of branch universities in the field of Earth sciences is carried out on the basis of the method of analysis of a specific university as an object of management. There are three main formats of free education for undergraduate studies: the nuclear program, the open curriculum, and the system of distributive requirements. It is established that the system of distribution requirements is more suitable for the surveyed universities. For them, it seems legitimate to saturate disciplines in the field of Earth sciences, including land management, cadastre and land monitoring, with materials reflecting the author's concept of preserving and increasing the environmental potential of the territory as the fundamental basis of its spatial development. On the example of SSUGT, regularly recurring activities are considered. A number of issues with a high potential for automation were identified, e.g. the processes of documenting the results of the current certification, preparing annotations and work programs for disciplines, forming a competency matrix for the main educational program, and reports on educational work. The features of each of these issues are considered and possible ways to solve them are proposed. For individual processes, an assessment of the reduction in time costs is given in the case of the implementation of the proposed automation steps. The main criterion for this space is a significant amount of information that is used in all spheres of life, affects consciousness and behavior. It is difficult to imagine the modern world without the opportunity to undergo distance learning, use online services, receive information or help through online services, and interact between different population groups. Volunteer organizations played a significant role in filling these functions and became one of the areas that found themselves in the “social experiment” mode during the rapid digitalization. The possibilities of digital technologies in the implementation of the functions of volunteers, in particular the eco-volunteer league, are considered. Options for building a tree of courses, various tools for organizing the structure of courses, such as electronic information and educational environment, interactive textbook, channels on platforms for organizing the workspace, corporate messengers (Google Class, Slack, Teams, etc.), intelligent map, and intelligent learning system are considered. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach are analyzed in detail, the recommended forms of organizing the information structure of courses for full and part-time students are derived. A promising method of registration of distance courses is highlighted and the problems of its implementation are identified. The content of these meanings is directly and indirectly connected with the languages of ethics. The analysis is based on a universalist cultural approach, which allows using cultural universals and languages as a way of representing meanings. As cultural methods and techniques of analysis in the course of the study were: content analysis in the study of the content of educational literature in order to detect features of the representation of ethical concepts; method of conceptual analysis of the discovered ethical concepts; comparative-historical method in the analysis of the features of the formation of ethical ideas; structural-functional method in the analysis of the place and functions of education and upbringing in the system of culture. It is concluded that the development and appropriation of ethical concepts allows creating conditions for the education and socialization of students. A specific methodology is proposed for updating ethical concepts and their cultural meanings, which are explicated in the key texts of Russian culture (verbal and visual). The analysis of the main theoretical approaches to the problem of a terrorist act as a type of terrorist crime in the youth environment was given. Various approaches to the analysis of the concepts of «terrorism» and «terrorist act» in the scientific literature were investigated. The article explores the theoretical problem of the definition of terrorism and a terrorist act, gives the concept of «terrorism» and «a terrorist act», shows their difference, identifies qualifying features, defines the composition of the offense. The legal definition of \"terrorism\" and \"terrorist act\" was disclosed. The content of the category \"terrorism\" was considered, terrorism affects the entire sphere of society, acts from the point of view of intimidation and violence, harms the civilian population and causes moral, physical and material damage to society and individuals. The study analyses the new social phenomenon of terrorism at school, called \"stochastic terrorism.\" The causes of this destructive phenomenon are considered, ways of countering terrorism among the youth are shown. It is necessary to pay untiring attention to the social education of the younger generation and the creation of a well-functioning multi-level education system (general, professional and additional). High-quality upbringing and education of a person will allow it to be formed as tolerant, law-abiding and humane.
