Digital eco-volunteering as a new form of environmental education

Recently, a global communication space has been formed, which is a consequence of digitalization. The main criterion for this space is a significant amount of information that is used in all spheres of life, affects consciousness and behavior. It is difficult to imagine the modern world without the opportunity to undergo distance learning, use online services, receive information or help through online services, and interact between different population groups. Volunteer organizations played a significant role in filling these functions and became one of the areas that found themselves in the “social experiment” mode during the rapid digitalization. The possibilities of digital technologies in the implementation of the functions of volunteers, in particular the eco-volunteer league, are considered. The widespread use of the digital space, namely digital formats, made it possible to actively develop education and awareness in environmental projects and programs.
