This study uses a quantitative approach with the method of Systematic Literature Review from various journals. With the Systematic Literature Review method, the research identifies all empirical evidence, where the identification aims to answer questions such as \"What is the role of the sharia supervisory board on public trust?\", \"Implementation of the sharia supervisory board on sharia banking?\". The analysis results found that the Sharia Representative Council (DPS) has a high level of helping to attract public interest. This is because the higher the spread of DPS, the public's knowledge about banking sharia will be increasingly known. This finding shows that Sharia Supervisory Board plays an essential role in providing public confidence to be interested in being part of a sharia bank because, so far, there are known factors that attract the public in the form of external factors such as marketing factors, psychological factors, cultural factors, social factors, and social factors. Personality so that this can be used as a view for further research that the Sharia Representative Council also still plays an essential role in contributing to society.","PeriodicalId":159118,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124703558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) report noted that the number of poor people in Indonesia in 2020 was 26.42 million. The existence of a pandemic exacerbates the situation with rising poverty levels. In addition, many women have to work as heads of households, and the high divorce rate makes the challenges even more difficult. One of the solutions to women's poverty that is currently the mainstream is the gender perspective. Based on this gender perspective, the idea of alleviating women's poverty was emerged through empowering women in the public sector, including in work environment. This idea has been supported by International Programs including the APEC Women and Economic Forum in early September 2013, which voiced the slogan 'Women as Economic Drivers'. In line with this, Japan also echoed the term womenomics. This article aims to: (1) identify the background of the emergence of the idea of womenomics and the extent to which it has been achieved; (2) identify the root cause of poverty and (3) recommend a complete solution to the problem of poverty from an Islamic perspective. The results show that the background of the push for women to public sector, including the womenomics strategy is not based on concern for women's welfare but as an instrument to pursue economic growth. So the results achieved are not far from the capitalist calculation. This womenomics perspective is in stark contrast to the view of Islam, where women and men have equal opportunities to achieve high rewards and positions before the Creator in their respective roles. The perfect Islamic Shari'a has a mechanism for solving people's poverty, and it has been proven during fourteen centuries of Islamic practice.","PeriodicalId":159118,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129300732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Of the land area of 2.32 million hectares, 1.53 million hectares are oil palm plantations owned by the community. In 2019, there were 51 cases of natural resource conflicts in Riau Province, of which the plantation sector was the most with 40 cases (78.40 percent). This study applied a qualitative descriptive method to understand the phenomenon of plantation land conflict that aimed to: (1) identify the factors that cause conflicts in oil palm plantations in Riau Province; (2) identify current policies related to the handling of plantation conflicts and (3) recommend policy suggestions that better protect the interests of the community from an Islamic perspective. This study concluded as follow: (1) the causes of land conflicts identified are non-legal factor which is related to the management of land use and access, and legal factor which is related to judicial and regulation overlap; (2) Regarding the current policies related to plantation land conflicts, the development of oil palm plantations is basically in line with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution that natural resources are controlled by the state and used for the prosperity of the people.; (3) to protect the community interests in plantation land, this study recommends policy based on Islamic guidelines in land ownership. Islamic law classifies ownership into individual property rights (al-milkiyah al-khassah), collective property rights (al-milkiyyah al-'ammah) and state property rights (al-milkiyah al-daulah). This classification protects the community's property rights individually and collectively because investors cannot dictate the state to take over community ownership. Islam also has rules for activating inactive land and distributing it to people who can manage it, which will be the solution to unauthorized land use that is prone to conflict.","PeriodicalId":159118,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132985284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the results of the discussion, the purpose of education in Islam is to foster human character, by forming an Islamic personality (Syakhsiyyah Islamiyyah), mastering Islamic philosophy, and mastering the sciences of life (science, technology, and expertise). Therefore, in the learning process, teachers have an important role in realizing educational goals. In any organisation, the core problem that needs to be tackled is the disciplinary problem. Islam has promoted discipline as the interjecting factor which leads to success in this world and hereafter. This descriptive study will be discussing on the disciplinary problems among the army personnel, the contributing factors to the problem as well as coming up with Islamic approach solutions to the problem. Discipline and the military are synonymous and the ability to adhere to the rules that have been determined is the decisive factor which can lead to one's career excellence in the military. Zina, gambling, alcoholism is some of the criminal cases that have been committed by these personnel. It is believed that the occurrences of these cases are due to their lack of religious knowledge and practices (not performing prayers and being ignorant towards the Al-Quran), lack of parental guidance and family problems. This paper will investigate how the principles of Al-Quran can assist in the instillation of discipline as outlined in Islamic teachings among the military personnel. This study will use a qualitative method by reviewing related documents, interviews and carrying out observations. In order to establish high discipline levels within the Malaysian Armed Forces, a more in-depth assessment of the existing disciplinary problems, their contributing elements, and resolving actions based on the principles of the Al-Quran will be conducted.","PeriodicalId":159118,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134642289","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the said reason, it is important to explore such research considering that the mental situation of this nation is clearly correlated with the spirit of national education which has been value free. Our educational philosophy is indeed intellectual, but our learning strategy is no longer concerned with the mental, moral, and developmental aspects of enlightening thinking skills. The national education curriculum and methodology are designed only to fill the mind with a series of knowledge and do not provide enough opportunity for the growth of an enlightened human being. Al-Qur'an for Muslims is not a mere a religious scripture, but it is also indeed to be an enlightening guide to find some basic principles of education which can then inspire in developing a qualified education.
