This study delves into the shared perceptions of life values between university lecturers and pedagogical students in Vietnam. It seeks to understand the depth of their agreement and the potential ramifications for pedagogical practices. Additionally, this research investigates the multifaceted manifestations of life values among pedagogical students, as perceived by both students and lecturers. A questionnaire was meticulously designed, featuring two vital components: (1) the conceptual awareness of “life value”, and (2) manifestations of life values of pedagogical students. A diverse array of participants, consisting of 816 pedagogical students and 98 lecturers from prominent institutions, was involved in the survey. The collected data underwent rigorous mathematical and statistical analysis. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were employed, unveiling compelling insights. The perceptions of life values among participants underscored their significance. Both students (86.0%) and lecturers (78.6%) held the perspective that life values encompassed meaningful and beneficial elements. Furthermore, their convergence on the importance of life values in guiding various life aspects is evident. Regarding the manifestations of life values among pedagogical students, nuanced perspectives emerged. Students displayed attributes such as self-care, positive attitudes, willingness to help, and emotional control. While this study offers valuable insights, limitations such as sample specificity and self-reported data bias should be acknowledged. Nevertheless, it lays the foundation for understanding the role of life values in education and informs potential interventions to enrich the educational journey for students and educators alike. \u0000 \u0000Received: 27 October 2023 / Accepted: 23 February 2024 / Published: 5 March 2024

Despite abundant water resource endowments, ongoing infrastructure upgrades, and technological advancements implemented for sustainable service management, the industry failed to deliver the expected results. However, more than 60% of produced water goes unbilled, service coverage disparities persist, service quality falls short of goals, and low water meter readings worsen resource utilisation and financial sustainability. As a result of poor and unsustainable social, environmental, and economic management of services, the industry witnessed a significant restructuring process, shifting from municipal to regional-level governance, overlooking citizen perceptions of water services as an element that may directly impact the sustainability and future developments of the water sector. The latter, coupled with research findings highlighting deficiencies of municipalities in Albania in local public services provision, triggered the in-depth investigation of water sector governance in Albania (from the citizens' point of view). The research sets a baseline in exploring citizens' perceptions of water services, using a representative sample-based survey in five Albanian municipalities and along five dimensions of service management: access and quality of the services, transparency and communication, satisfaction with services, value for money, and willingness to pay (WTP) for improved services. Our findings suggest a low satisfaction with water services offered by municipally-owned water utilities, primarily related to water supply duration and quality. Despite lacking trust in service improvement, WTP for improved services is positive. \u0000 \u0000Received: 15 December 2023 / Accepted: 16 February 2024 / Published: 5 March 2024

Parallel to recent educational trends in the world and in accordance with the 21st century skills, curricula in many countries have gone through substantial changes. There is an obvious need to determine how compatible learning outcomes of course curricula are with the 21st century skills. The objective of this study is to analyze learning outcomes of high school biology course curriculum within the framework of 21st century skills. The data were collected through document analysis and analyzed by the content analysis methods. In the study, each learning outcome and explanations in the biology course curriculum was analyzed in terms of their compatibility within the framework of the basic 21st century skills and related sub-skills. Results have shown that learning outcomes of the biology course curriculum are in accordance with the 21st century skills, but the distribution of the 21st century skills show different distribution (learning and innovation skills, 59%; media and technology skills, 23%; life and career skills, 18%), within the curriculum. There is no study in the literature that covers all grade levels and 21st century skills for the biology courses at the high school. This work intends to fill this gap. \u0000 \u0000Received: 2 December 2023 / Accepted: 16 February 2024 / Published: 5 March 2024

The results show a clear dominance of the United States as the main export destination, although there was an annual decrease of 6.7% in 2022. The HHI revealed a growing trend towards greater market concentration in Peruvian asparagus exports. At the company level, despite a general decrease in the number of exporting companies, significant growth was observed in some of them, such as Agrícola Cerro Prieto and Agrovision. Based on these results, it is recommended that Peruvian companies seek further diversification of their export markets to minimize dependence on a single market and develop adaptable and resilient business strategies to cope with a constantly evolving market. \u0000 \u0000Received: 17 December 2023 / Accepted: 27 February 2024 / Published: 5 March 2024

History textbooks should reveal history in all its complexity, promoting democratic values, tolerance, and cooperation for a better future, without creating prejudice or negative visions of others. This research is focused on history teaching referring to the recommendations of Council of Europe (COE) and their implementation in Albania and Kosovo curricula. The method used in this research integrates both qualitative and quantitative analysis referring to the content of history textbooks in a comparative approach. We used a questionnaire to understand teachers' feelings about COE recommendations and if they are implemented in history texts. Referring to the results, the recommendations of COE are not fully reflected even though they are mentioned in pre-university’ curricula framework. Meanwhile, the questionnaire submitted by the teachers shows to what extent they know the COE recommendations and how much these recommendations develop student’s competencies. \u0000 \u0000Received: 15 September 2023 / Accepted: 28 February 2024 / Published: 5 March 2024

Following Western universities' models, Korean education has adopted the same values and policies, inheriting the subsequent issues and problems that lie therein. This paper continues the call for resisting neoliberalism by exposing its negative impact on the acculturation experiences of international students in Korea. The study participants used transactional language to describe their feelings of marginalization and invisibility and the impoverished ways their host university treated them. Utilizing a qualitative case study methodology set within the framework of neoliberalism, this paper documents how neoliberal policies have been ideologically ingrained in Korean higher education. It highlights the necessity of reforming current policies to deter acculturative stress. It is hoped that the findings inspire resistance to the neoliberal ideology that Korean policymakers have subconsciously followed. \u0000 \u0000Received: 23 December 2023 / Accepted: 19 February 2024 / Published: 5 March 2024
