The algorithm fuses brightness segmentation and color information at ‘region level’, as to make up for conventional ‘pixel level’ approaches. The IPSO is taken into account for spatial segmentation of the video frame, which combines the mixture Gaussian model of temporal framework in achieving better segmentation. Adapting to the real-time video surveillance, the proposed algorithm can speed up the process of image segmentation, and make background modeling accurately to update. Comparisons were performed with other method that the proposed algorithm can detect intact moving objects even when objects appear and disappear suddenly. Full or partial reconfiguration of protocol stack offers both optimized communication service and system performance. This paper proposes a finite state machines (FSMs) approach for modeling analysis of reconfiguration protocols stack in NCS. The proposed reconfiguration architecture is implemented by illustrating a simulation for the flexible scheduling scheme on the Ethernet protocol. Detail FSM implement modules for composing node models of master and salve are discussed respectively in OPNET environment. This paper proposes a sequential optimal control strategy for serially connected isolated structures. The control devices are installed at the isolation level. The equation motion of the vibration control system to the serially connected isolated structures subjected to two-directional horizontal earthquake excitation is established. Sequential optimal control algorithm is used to control the example. The aim is to find a set of high-quality trade-off solutions. This is a combinatorial optimization problem with substantially large solution space, suggesting that it is highly difficult to find the best solutions with the exact search method. To account for it, a PSO-based algorithm is proposed by fully utilizing the capability of the exploration search and fast convergence. To fit the continuous PSO in the discrete modeled problem, a novel solution representation is introduced in the algorithm. Moreover, to improve the solution quality, a local search algorithm is used to perform on the stored elite solutions, which would facilitate the exploitation search in the regions with promising solutions. The O<inf>2</inf> concentration detection device of single light-four detectors is designed to measure the concentrations of SO<inf>2</inf> and CO<inf>2</inf> respectively by two pairs of light filters and detectors. Fitting curve equation between SO<inf>2</inf> and CO<inf>2</inf> are gained by experiment data fusion. This method overcomes deficiency of single measure method, erasing the influence of CO<inf>2</inf> on SO<inf>2</inf> measure precision efficiently. Furthermore, applying the dynamic error system analysis (DESA) method, it is rigorously proved that the self-tuning fused Kalman filter converges to the optimal fused Kalman filter in a realization, so that it has asymptotically global optimality. Unlike previous results, we do not require a priori knowledge on the unknown control directions. Our proposed adaptive controller is a switching-type controller which can re-initialize its estimate parameters via a switching scheme. Therefore, the unknown control directions can be identified quickly, so that the control law can work on the right way. The problem of controller parameter adaption is accomplished using a direct approach, i.e. the controller parameters are estimated without explicitly estimating plant parameters or uncertainties. In the nonlinear dynamic equations of parallel manipulators, dependent and independent general coordinates are spitted in order to reduce linearization process complexity. The main advantage of the method is simplicity to implement in a wide range of industrial processes.
