Such a global system must guarantee uninterrupted communication all over the world. Optimization criterion is total expenses of satellite segment deployment and its operation and maintenance. Basic input data is: performances of ground network segment and spatial density of users. The software for complex optimization is presented for following parameters: orbital structure , total satellite mass , performances of aboard transponder , power consumption and performances of correction engine. Additionally the launch vehicle options and possibility of cluster launch are taken into consideration.","PeriodicalId":154434,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 2nd International Conference on Satellite Communications","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1996-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122671862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Kulikov","doi":"10.1109/ICSC.1996.865394","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICSC.1996.865394","url":null,"abstract":"The use of differential mode is one of the most effective ways for the navigation accuracy increasing in information of space navigation systems (GLONASS, NAVSTAR). The best positioning characteristics are achieved by the user in proximity of the reference station. However in proportion to moving away from the reference station the errors, connected with correction information degradation owing to the space decorrelation errors of navigation field, increase. The way for partial compensation of the correction information space degradation effect for far range between the user and the station has been presented in this paper. In particular, the mathematical models for the compensation of regular components of atmosphere errors are being proposed. In navigation task solution it is proposed to take into account un-modelled (irregular) components of atmosphere errors together with satellite ephemeris errors with the help appropriate covariation matrix of measured parameters formation. So, characteristic peculiarity of the presented algorithm is the combination of determinate and statistical methods for the navigation field errors estimation. The results of modelling have shown, that this algorithm in comparison with the known ones allows in average increasing of positioning accuracy in the range more then 500 km from the reference station. Effectiveness of algorithm using significantly depends on atmosphere refraction model accuracy as well as on taken allowances in the covariation matrix formation. The method, shown in the paper is rather simple and can be used by interested users of space navigation systems without significant expenses.","PeriodicalId":154434,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 2nd International Conference on Satellite Communications","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1996-09-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126415042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
