Communication satellites on high elliptical orbit: new application technology
This paper analyses satellite communication systems on high elliptical orbit (HEO) in application to different satellite services. It is shown, that the latest improvements in space and telecommunication technology may boost efficiency of communication systems using HEO and make them competitive with widely used geostationary communication systems.
