The PID control algorithm, which is described by hardware description language on FPGA, is introducing to be the kernel of the PID controller IP Core in Quartus II 9.1 environment. Registers with parallel structure, specific Avalon bus interfaces and the drivers of the IP core are designed to achieve the transmission of the data between scheduling center and the IP core. The SOPC control system based on embedded Nios II processor with the core component PID controller IP core is designed to make temperature tests to the control object with features of first-order inertia and pure delay. The results show that, the step response of the system is of no overshoot, zero steady-state error, short rise time, and good anti-interference effect. The implementation of this design is reusable and convenient for being invoked by intelligent PID control system.","PeriodicalId":152024,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129609053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the microscopic image of micro-heterogeneous surface is obtained by the long working distance lenses of digital microscopic camera, firstly. Thereafter, two artificial neural network models, which take microscopic image features as the inputs, are presented to measure the surface roughness. Then, experiments on the microscopic image acquisition and roughness calibration are conducted. Finally, the analysis results indicate that the proposed measurement method is efficient and effective for evaluating the microcosmic surface roughness of micro-heterogeneous surface in deep hole.","PeriodicalId":152024,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128574758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A new method based on a switching technique is presented to solve this problem. A switched fuzzy delay system, which differs from existing ones, is firstly employed to describe a nonlinear system, and then some new concepts about the innovated SF delay system are introduced. Usually, this class of systems can precisely describe continuous and discrete dynamics as well as their interactions in the complex real-world systems. Next, based on the scheme of average dwell time, the switched state feedback controllers for the proposed SF delay systems are built to ensure that the relevant closed-loop system is exponentially stable. A bound on the average dwell time guaranteeing exponential stability can be explicitly calculated via the solutions of some linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, various comparisons of the elaborated examples are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control design approach. All results illustrate good control performances as desired.","PeriodicalId":152024,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130323406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, filter parameter is theoretically calculated and subsection various step-size (SVSS) is introduced to improve stability of adaptive filter. Simulation results indicate that the new method of SVSS can solve well the contradiction between convergence rate and stability in noise cancelling. Furthermore, SVSS is introduced in calibration of three-axis magnetometer based on simulation and experiment. In order to get better detection effectiveness, a new algorithm based on multi-threshold classification and forward verification is described in this article. This algorithm can detect impurity-one kind of small target in liquid, which is able to detect impurity with full intelligent. After background suppression, an adaptive multi-threshold classification is adopted for the extraction of potential targets. A time pipeline is set up for energy accumulation. After forward searching, the potential target is assessed to the real target by a reasonable threshold. The S/N sensitivity of the algorithm is greatly improved. Some experiments using real ampoule liquid have given satisfying results.","PeriodicalId":152024,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Intelligent Control and Information Processing","volume":"205 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-09-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123375715","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
