The objective of LPI radar is to detect the target at long ranges and to hide from intercept receiver available at the short range. New modulation techniques were developed to reduce the peak transmitted power for LPI radar. For the design of efficient ESM receiver, many signal processing algorithms were developed which extracts the modulation parameters from the received signal. Quadrature Mirror Filter Bank (QMFB) method is applied to estimate the various parameters of the LPI radar under different types of modulation techniques namely P1, P2, P3, P4 for various noisy conditions. It is observed that QMFB method is efficient to extract all modulation parameters for SNR values under no noise, 0dB, and up to −4dB.","PeriodicalId":151809,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering (UPCON)","volume":"221 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122862279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, in this paper, two possible architectures are proposed for a Vedic real multiplier based on the URDHVA TIRYAKBHYAM (Vertically and cross wise) sutra of Indian Vedic mathematics and an expression for path delay of an N×N Vedic real multiplier with minimum path delay architecture is developed. Then, architectures of four Vedic real multipliers solution, three Vedic real multipliers solution of complex multiplier are presented. The architecture of Vedic real multiplier with minimum path delay is used in the implementation of complex multiplier. The architectures for the four multiplier solution and three multiplier solution of complex multiplier for 32 × 32 bit complex numbers multiplication are coded in VHDL and implemented through Xilinx ISE 13.4 navigator and Modelsim 5.6. Finally, the results are compared with that of the four and three real multipliers solutions using the conventional Booth and Array multipliers.","PeriodicalId":151809,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering (UPCON)","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122881535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each switch duty control signal in TIFOI converter system will affect the two output variables causing interactions. These interactions must be measured for proper controller structure selection. Interactions measurements may not be accurate for a converter system as some methods suggest centralized and some other suggest decentralized control schemes. So there is an ambiguity in selection of suitable controller architectures. To overcome such an ambiguity centralized interaction independent controller was designed for a TIFOI dc-dc converter using H-infinity Loop-shaping design procedure. This centralized controller is designed by combining the H-infinity robust stabilization with the classical loop shaping. This controller robustifies loop characteristics of the converter system by minimizing infinity norm associated with the set of four cost functions. The higher order controllers that resulted from the H-infinity Loop-shaping design procedure are reduced to lower order using balanced truncation model reduction. To ensure load division and bus-voltage regulation features of the TIFOI dc-dc converter are demonstrated, in simulation, on a prototype, 36 V /12 V to 24 V, 100 Watt, dc power distribution system.","PeriodicalId":151809,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering (UPCON)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114234229","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Stability period and network lifetime are key issues to judge and analyse the working of the sensor nodes and the efficiency of the sensor network system for a long time. Designing energy efficient multitasking clustering protocols for data collection and supporting event based applications in various environments is the main goal for the researchers. This paper proposes a protocol based on broad and crossover transmission distance for homogeneous sensor network system and effect of various scales such as the number of nodes and different initial energies of all the nodes on it. Homogeneous broad transmission distance protocol (HM-BTDP) is put forward for event-specific and field-specific applications where sub-periods of lifetime are also important along with stability period and entire span of the network. Performance parameters for evaluation are alive nodes metrics depicting that this protocol outperforms the previous existing homogeneous protocols and thus enhancing network energy efficiency.","PeriodicalId":151809,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering (UPCON)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114624465","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The n+ source/drain regions are formed by employing charge plasma technique over the intrinsic silicon. Dual material gate architecture helps to minimize the delay and gate stacked architecture helps to have better control over channel region. The performances metrics such as, subthreshold slope (SS), fluctuation in threshold voltage (VT), drain induced barrier lowering (DIBL), intrinsic delay and energy delay product are analysed for different silicon film thickness (Tsi), gate length (LG), and gate work-functions difference (δW). The comparative analysis has been done with conventional heavily doped dual material double gate (DMDG) JLT and its gate stacked architecture (GSDMDG) of JLT. The SS, VT, intrinsic delay and energy delay product of DL-DMDG and DL-GSDMDG JLTs are less sensitive to the variations in aforementioned device parameters as compared to conventional doped DMDG and GSDMDG JLTs. Moreover, DL-GSDMDG JLT shows remarkable improvement over other mentioned device configurations.","PeriodicalId":151809,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering (UPCON)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127892619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These devices are often subjected to electrical and mechanical exploitations throughout the operation, which many a time results in catastrophic failure and drastic reduction in life cycle. The problem is further elevated by the shift of paradigm in today's complex and deregulated market, which allows higher transformer overloads, handling of unprecedented power flow patterns and increased availability while reducing the service and maintenance cost at the same time. Online condition monitoring and analysis techniques can be very handy for evaluation of operational condition of transformer to prevent any abrupt inconsistencies, decrease the life cycle cost and increase the reliability and availability. The thermal behavior of transformer is a crucial parameter indicating its health. This paper proposes a simple method of monitoring the health of transformer based on statistical analysis of oil and winding temperature values. The results obtained indicate a strong correlation of temperature and health of transformer.","PeriodicalId":151809,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering (UPCON)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131444231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Signcryption has the virtue to provide the services of digital signature and public key encryption in a single step. So when we compare it in terms of cost and ease of use, signcryption is better than “signature then encryption” (or encryption then signature) approach. So signcryption protocols are obvious choice for WTLS where authentication along with savings of computational overheads is always desired.
