The portal is designed for the purposes of mutual communication between the teacher and the pupil's parent and for the information search. Based on the analysis of user requirements, appropriate portal functionalities have been selected and incorporated. These include, inter alia, simplicity, reliability, quality and speed. A feasibly designed and practically commissioned portal has proved to bring an expected increase in communication efficiency. The paper also outlines possibilities of introducing new features to increase the efficiency of the portal intended for the parent-teacher communication. As the next step in designing the web portal solution, an extension of the system is expected to include new users of the pupil rank.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123123207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In general, tracking in the outdoor environment allows determining the location of people and property without any guidance to guide them/its to the destination. As part of the research carried out in the project APVV -20-0457 and the fulfillment of its basic objectives, significant emphasis is placed on the problem of routing in closed spaces. The importance of this tracking in the interior serves to determine the location of people. Currently, these tracking systems are based on Bluetooth Low Energy technology. Their use can be seen in various industries and their implementation is gaining importance. The presented article deals with the issue focused on the characteristics and importance of tracing systems. As part of solving the research task, partial tests aimed at examining the reliability of the selected tracking system in specific conditions were also carried out. The results of these tests are described in the presented article and point to the advantages and disadvantages of the tested system. These instructions give you basic guidelines for preparing camera-ready papers for conference proceedings.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129416492","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital natives are characterized by the ability to be multitasking, gain experience, experiment through new technological strategies. The radical transformation of our way of communicating and relating to sources of information and in-training changes the communication and cognitive paradigms and in this scenario new ways of teaching take shape: frontal lessons and individual study. The flip model was created for an effective acquisition and introjection of cultural changes induced by ICT in order to support new ways of learning, guaranteeing freedom of expression and personalization of teaching. The crucial aspects do not lie in the use of media education tools, but in the adoption of a different educational paradigm, which sees teachers no longer as “distributors / transmitters” of knowledge, but as facilitators of learning processes in support of cognitive methodological faculties. With this in mind, the article presents a pilot study conducted among students of different classes of a high school.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127341503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Social competence, as one of the eight key competences defined by the European Qualifications Framework for Formation through Education, is crucial for the social inclusion, personal development and professional realization of people. The training of social competences and, in particular, of conflict resolution skills at school can take place in the form of an independent subject, be integrated into other subjects or be taught based on interdisciplinary principles [7]. In this paper an educational design for building conflict resolution competence in school through integrated project-based learning in technical subjects is proposed.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130704398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The key challenge for training engineering students in deep learning is to provide hands-on topics, in which students can apply their problem-solving skills. Out-of-distribution detection is a subtle problem vexing real-world applications, when a deep neural network is faced with an object of a previously unseen class. It provides a challenging playground for students to explore different approaches, applying mathematics and statistics, while ultimately gaining a deeper understanding of deep learning models. In this paper, we review several starting points to explore this application area, including experiments on CIFAR-IO datasets.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130748281","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cities and suburbs will undergo significant transformations to create the necessary sustainable living conditions for their residents. The main pillars of these transformations - mobility and energy - will require radical adaptation to meet demographic changes and economic growth without increasing congestion and pollution. Cities will need secure, sustainable and affordable mobility and energy solutions that can be connected and integrated with customer-centric infrastructure and services. The creation of next-generation automotive solutions, the implementation of intelligent transport systems, the use of autonomous driving, etc. are a pivotal moment in building the appearance of the new type of cities of the future.[9] In the context of this understanding, in this paper a model of a multi-functional electric scooter with autonomous operation mode, which has been developed and modeled in a 3D environment, is presented. A simulation about the control of the vehicle has been made in Matlab. Regarding the realized design of the scooter, an expert survey was conducted, the results of which are presented in the paper. The observed accident is not a real accident, but an experimental crash test of a BMW E87, ${118}mathbf{i}$, and an electric scooter. The rider of the electric scooter in this experiment was replaced by a dummy Primus, representing the average EuroNCAP male (175 cm, 78 kg). The dummy was placed on top of the electric scooter and positioned in front of the vehicle so that it was knocked from the left, approximately in the middle of the vehicle. The vehicle was accelerated to a speed of approximately 50 km/h and at this speed struck the rider of the electric scooter, who was gradually struck on the bonnet and windscreen of the vehicle, the scooter being thrown forward. The output data from the experiment and the input data for the reconstruction (simulation) are the initial and end positions of the dummy, scooter, and vehicle, vehicle deformation, and damage/injury to the dummy. The simulation tool used is finite element method software Virtual Performance Solution, in which the vehicle and scooter model was created and a hybrid human body model: Virthuman was used. The vehicle was modeled as partly rigid and partly deformable (deformable in the frontal part, where contact with the driver appears) and rigid in the rest, in order to speed up the computation time. The scooter was modeled as rigid in its entirety (to speed up the calculation and irrelevance of the deformation data - they do not affect the rider dynamics and these data are not available). The Virthuman model is a numerical human body model, which could represent an individual of a given height, weight, age, and sex. This model is suitable specifically for simulations of dynamic phenomena with potential impact. The main idea of this study was to develop a kind of methodology for accident reconstruction of scooters and electric scooters and to identify the relevant data needed for the simulation tools. The principle is to vary unknown input data (rider position relative to the vehicle, vehicle speed, etc.), and monitor the simulation results. The aim is to keep the known input data and variations of those of the unknown, simulation results as close as possible to the results of the experiment (vehicle damage, injury and final position of the rider, etc.). In this way, it is possible to determine the possible initial state and progress of the accident and thus obtain information (data) that could not be obtained at the accident scene and which may help to clarify or exclude a given collision scenario, or could be used for the development of future safety systems.","PeriodicalId":151344,"journal":{"name":"2022 20th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133288886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
