This makes the writers want to provide a reference and technical guidance to increase students' knowledge in providing mixed methods research. This type of research is literature review research that discusses various interesting issues from journals and books related to this research theme. This article describes matters related to the definition, types and procedures of mixed methods, population and samples, instruments, data collection and data analysis techniques carried out by mixed methods. The results of this study provide clarity and important exposure to research methodologies for students who will carry out their research in the field of education that focuses on mixed methods research. Hence, the research method will provide advantages of both quantitative and qualitative approaches to unveil the research phenomena in depth. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Jenis eksperimen yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasy-experimental) dengan rancangan one grup  pretest-posttest design. Data penelitian ini adalah skor hasil tes keterampilan menulis narasi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik peta pikiran (mind mapping). Sedangkan  potensi adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki manusia yang sangat mungkin untuk dikembangkan. Memahami potensi dan kemampuan diri sendiri merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Begitu juga potensi yang dimiliki oleh lembaga sekolah dalam hal ini madrasah. Potensi yang dimiliki madrasah dapat berupa sarana dan prasaranan yang dimiliki, sumber daya tenaga pendidik dan sumber daya dari peserta didik itu sendiri.  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi literature, dimana subjek yang dibahas adalah mengenai inovasi  dan potensi yang telah dan akan dilakukan madrasah-madrasah terutama dalam pengembangan karakter peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi yang telah dilakukan madrasah adalah menjadi 1). Madrasah riset, 2). Madrasah berbudaya, dan 3). Madrasah bermain atau multimodal. Berbagai usaha dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa diantaranya pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat coba diterapkan untuk menghasilkan hasil belajar yang baik tersebut adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe student teams achievement division (STAD). Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model kooperatif tipe STAD  dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran biologi di kelas  XII IPA MA Hasanah Pekanbaru tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, dimana masing- masing siklus terdiri dari fase perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Dilaksanakan pada bulan September hingga November 2018.  Dari pelaksanaan penelitian didapat hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswadari siklus 1 sebanyak 12 orang atau sebesar 71 % tuntas  meningkat menjadi 17 orang tuntas atau sebesar 100 % pada siklus 2.  Sementara Untuk daya serap siswa sebesar 79 % pada siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 86% pada siklus 2. Therefore, reconstruction in the implementation of education was needed in the form of integrating science and Islamic values ​​to become the veins of organizing education in all institutions, especially those labeled as Islamic institutions. This research aimed to explore several models of the integration of science and Islam and its implications for Islamic education. This research used a journal meta-analysis approach. The data source was taken from 15 selected online journals. The different models found in this research required a further discussion to continue to renew the thinking of the fields of integration of science and Islam. Online-based learning can help teachers and students to continue to do the teaching process, in the platform the teacher can upload subject matter and assignments will be done by students, besides teachers and students can also carry out discussions in the form provided. This research instrument used observation sheets and conducted 4 meetings. The purpose of this study was to determine edmodo-based e-learning learning. Selama ini pembelajaran Biologi di kelas lebih didominasi oleh guru sehingga siswa bersifat pasif dalam belajar Biologi, frekuensi siswa yang bertanya kurang, tidak mempunyai tanggung  jawab dalam mengerjakan tugas dan siswa pandai tidak membantu siswa yang kurang pandai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini  adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA1 SMAN Binaan Khusus Kota Dumai pada semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang dengan 15 orang siswa  laki-laki dan 18 orang siswa perempuan.Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dan lembar hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pengamatan dan teknik tes. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa dianalisis secara analisis data kuantitatif dengan analisis ketercapaian KKM setiap indikator dan analisis rata-rata hasil belajar. Peningkatan hasil belajar biologi siswa dapat terlihat dari jumlah siswa yang tuntas pada studi awal yaitu 13 orang atau 39,39 % meningkat pada siklus 1 menjadi 23 orang atau 69,6%%. Dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus 2  menjadi 29 orang yang tuntas atau 87,88 %. A teacher is required to be a professional teacher. The State will provide good financial for professional teachers who got the certification. For that in this study, researchers want to cover deeply into professional teachers. Using a qualitative approach with in-depth interview method. Respondens in this research are  two teachers at the same level in the senior high school. the current question there are results that match the purpose of this study. The results from the interviews a teacher should have good skills in preparing intrument learning and implementation in teaching and learning system. Before the teacher becomes a professional teacher a teacher should at least collect portfolio himself or following the training PLPG for perapring test of professional teacher standard. Hingga memberi dampak pada dunia pendidikan mulai dari jenjang sekolah dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. Proses pembelajaran yang biasanya terdapat pertemuan dikelas sekarang dialihkan dengan pertemuan  daring atau online ataupun work from home (WFH). Pada abad 21 ini para pendidik baik dosen maupun guru dituntut untuk melek teknologi. Dengan melek teknologi paradigma proses pembelajaran dikelas diganti dengan proses pembelajaran jarak jauh menggunakan berbagai aplikasi seperti google classroom, group Whastap, zoom, google meet dan lain sebagai sumber media baru agar  proses pembelajaran di sekolah dan universitas tetap dapat berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus di MTS Swasta di pekanbaru yaitu MTS al-Mutaqqin dan Darel Hikmah sebagai sekolah dampingan program pintar tanoto foundation dan universitas Islam negeri sultan syarif kasim riau. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan dampak positif dan negative proses pembelajaran jarak jauh (e-learning) yang dirasakan oleh guru dan siswa, tapi dampak ini lebih cenderung kepada dampak negative.
