The participants of this study were fourteen students at 11th grade at a state school in the Marmara Region. The data were gathered through semi-structured interview form and teaching journal. In this study, it was determined that the opinions of participants about argumentation based teaching were generally positive. They mainly described argumentation based learning as fun and effective and that it enabled them to learn without having to memorize. This survey research consisted of two studies. In study 1, an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed in SPSS 23 in order to investigate the scale’s factorial structure. Study 1 involved a convenience sample of 220 senior pre-service teachers studying at two Turkish public universities. The EFA yielded a single factor structure which accounted for 39.36% of the total variance and included 43 items. In study 2, a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted in LISREL 9.30 to test and confirm the uni-dimensional structure of the 43-item scale obtained in study 1 on a data set of 724 participants from four public universities. The study was carried out through descriptive survey model, one of quantitative research models. The sample of the study consisted of 653 freshmen preservice teachers in the Faculty of Education at Gazi University. Convenience sampling method was used in the study. Percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Kruskal-Wallis and t test were used in the analysis of the data collected via “Academic Self-Efficacy Scale”. Findings reveal that there is no significant difference between preservice teachers’ academic self-efficacy levels and their gender, fields of study in high school and departments at their university. Pre-test - post-test controlled group design was used in the study. The study was conducted on 3 groups, each composed of 38 2nd grade medical vocational high school students. \"Impact\" is limited by the didactic quality of two separate sections of the psychology textbook and it was practiced with the traditional text book and the textbook which is organized in two separate ways as including questions and not. The data were analysed by one-way analysis of variance and \"t\" test. Survey model was used to obtain data from three textbooks of Turkish as a foreign language (İstanbul A1-A2, İzmir A1-A2 ve Yeni Hitit A1-A2). Formulaic expressions in these books were collected then analyzed in terms of their structural, functional, semantic and contextual features. 193 expressions that met criteria of being formulaic expressions were determined as sub-categories in the textbooks and workbooks and linked to 21 speech acts that were grouped as main categories. Results showed that textbooks may have difficulties in providing a balanced representation of interrelated formulaic expressions, a number of formulaic expressions cannot be included in textbooks although they are frequently used in everyday life and informational contents about speech acts and formulaic expressions in textbooks can be represented being carried into workbooks but they are not reinforced as they are less used in workbooks. Exploratory correlational design was adopted in the study. A total of 475 undergraduate students in English preparatory classes voluntarily participated in the study. The findings showed that graded performance regarding English courses was significantly and positively predicted by both curiosity as a feeling of deprivation and curiosity as a feeling of interest. The principal aim here is introducing a theoretical approach based on a different philosophy, in addition to the techno-scientific Anglo-American theoretical approach. Didaktik tradition has been of particular interest for curriculum researchers especially in the past two decades. With such an interactive focus, this paper is divided into four sections. Because this paper traces historical and philosophical pathways of inquiry, its research method is purely qualitative, based on document analysis. Qualitative research method was used in the study and descriptive content analysis was done. Computer and instructional technology department academic staff, students and information technology teachers were interviewed via semi-structured interview forms. According to research findings; it was observed that the works expected from the teachers have spread to a wide range of technology. Qualities of the ideal information technology teacher include, following developments in the field, using them in daily life, being prone to interdisciplinary work, dominating not only the application dimension of the field but also the theoretical concepts. This study was designed as a longitudinal panel study. The sample of the study consists of 323 prospective teachers from Çukurova University Faculty of Education.
