Understanding the relationship of these factors can provide guidance for English education and help students improve their listening skills. This study analyzes the metacognitive awareness, strategies and self-efficacy of English listening comprehension by surveying the data of 100 Chinese English majors. The results showed that the average score of listening metacognitive awareness was 3.2 (standard deviation 0.5), the average score of listening strategy was 3.8 (standard deviation 0.6), and the average score of self-efficacy was 3.5 (standard deviation 0.4). This indicates that English majors' listening ability is influenced by their metacognitive awareness, strategies and self-efficacy. Students with higher listening metacognitive awareness and strategies tended to exhibit higher self-efficacy, and these factors gradually increased with students' grades. It is suggested that English educators pay attention to cultivating students' listening metacognitive awareness and strategies in teaching, so as to improve their self-efficacy and listening skills. In addition, teachers can adopt diversified listening training methods and provide positive feedback to help students achieve better results in English listening.","PeriodicalId":149446,"journal":{"name":"Curriculum and Teaching Methodology","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135497881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the most widely used and widely used communication tool in the world, English learning and application have become increasingly important. However, there has been controversy over the relationship between its autonomy, motivational strategies, and language experience. This article attempted to explore this issue from a theoretical research perspective and collect a large amount of relevant data through questionnaire surveys, and analyzed the characteristics and influencing factors of students' motivation for autonomous learning of foreign languages, providing certain reference significance for the reform of college English teaching and the cultivation of learner autonomy. This article designed experiments from three aspects: autonomy, learning motivation, and language experience fluency. The experimental subjects were divided into four groups: A, B, C, and D. Statistical software was used to analyze and examine the differences between different groups of students. Among them, Group C had the highest average fluency, reaching around 87.8%, and their language experience was also more diverse, proving a certain positive correlation between students' learning autonomy, motivational strategies, and language experience. English learning autonomy can promote learning behavior by providing self-determined learning goals, self-monitoring learning progress, and self-selecting learning strategies, which helps to enhance understanding of English learners' motivation and language experience, and provides guidance and guidance for English teaching and learning.","PeriodicalId":149446,"journal":{"name":"Curriculum and Teaching Methodology","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135497898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, Research on how to cultivate the innovative ability of cross-border e-commerce students based on the concept of STEM education has emerged. Through the comprehensive analysis of relevant literature and the summary of teaching practice, this paper puts forward the direction of teaching construction to cultivate the innovation ability of cross-border e-commerce students based on the concept of STEM education. The teaching construction directions proposed in this article include the construction of appropriate training goals and teaching content, the adoption of diversified teaching methods, the emphasis on practical application and the cultivation of innovative thinking, and the emphasis on evaluation and feedback. These aspects can effectively improve students' innovation ability and core competitiveness, and meet the society's demand for talents. Experimental tests have shown that this teaching direction has improved students' teamwork ability to more than 80 points, and their innovation ability has also reached 70 points. Cultivating the innovation ability of cross-border e-commerce students based on the concept of STEM education requires educators to combine subject characteristics and student needs to build a suitable teaching plan and curriculum system. This research has certain reference significance for college educators to cultivate students' innovation ability in the field of cross-border e-commerce.","PeriodicalId":149446,"journal":{"name":"Curriculum and Teaching Methodology","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135497115","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
