It seems, however, that the title problem of Nalaskowski's study touches upon a more general issue, which is the present situation of Polish and world (well, maybe only European) culture in general. Whatever we may think about ourselves and how we judge it, we are stuck in a process that affects culture - especially since 1945.\u0000As I have tried to sketch the broader background, the sources of this bankruptcy are deeper and not only the fault of the intellectuals itself. Perhaps there is some truth in what the already mentioned Gałczyński wrote (Gałczyński 1956, 189 [Notes from unsuccessful Paris retreats - Notatki z nieudanych rekolekcji paryskich], 1946):\u0000And when Your storm passes\u0000will you accept a coward into your paradises?\u0000Oh sweet night, summer night ...\u0000Outside the window, a Galilean flute.\u0000Probably many intellectuals would repeat these words after the poet; because there is too much wind for my wool (za duży wiatr na moją wełnę)... This also needs to be taken into account, the failure to settle accounts that affected us after 1939-1945. Here I see the sources of this bankruptcy (if it was bankruptcy), when our parents, relatives, found out that they deviated from the guideline…. Hence the lack of an answer to the question posed in the Little Violin Concerto from Niobe's poem - where is it? Originally the poet wrote - I know, I know. But this memory - did anyone need it?\u0000So, in my opinion, it was not the intellectuals that went bankrupt; these were those who decided that she deviated from the guideline (odbiegli od linii wytycznej)... they kind of ordered her to go bankrupt, to give up everything they had managed to save despite the years 1939-1945. And they tried to keep it, hide it, pass it on to others. That it didn't fully work out? Well - let me repeat - nec Hercules contra plures (which I cannot translate in the language of Mr. Piecyk or Walery Wątróbka).\u0000\u0000\u0000

In recent years, they have been shaped in Poland mainly by legislative changes related to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the resulting national legislation, the introduction of the model of inclusive education, and social transformations through which diversity in terms of health and the (dis)abilities) one possesses is understood as a common experience, rather than a reason for isolation and rejection. The new paradigm of perceiving disability requires the use of new methods of studying contemporary phenomena, including attitudes toward people with disabilities. The purpose of this text is to present the process of adaptation to Polish conditions and proven psychometric properties of the Multidimensional Scale of Attitudes Toward People with Disabilities by L. Findler, N. Vilchinsky and S. Werner (2007). MAS-POL has satisfactory reliability ratings, both for the version targeting people with disabilities in general and those with motor, intellectual and sensory disabilities. The data obtained with this tool can expand existing analyses of attitudes toward people with disabilities, based on the more elaborate and complex structure of the phenomenon. It includes separate versions for measuring attitudes toward people experiencing different but most representative types of disabilities. Traditionally, speech-language diagnosis with these children has mainly focused on the level of the disorder regarding body structures and functions from the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF). In turn, qualitative-quantitative functional diagnosis, referring to the biopsychosocial model, aims to enhance the diagnosis scheme by considering the possible functions of a disorder in children’s everyday life. It means that it refers to the other components of the ICF's classification, which emphasizes the individuality and multidimensionality of each person's developmental path. The holistic diagnosis supports formulating adequate therapeutic goals to improve life quality. This article describes the polish adaptation of the SPAA-C questionaries considering the ICF classification's activity and participation components. The SPAA-C comprises six semi-structured interviews for children with developmental challenges in the area of speech or language, like speech sound disorder or developmental language disorder, as well as for their significant others.
